Marvel Indirectly Confirmed ‘Moon Knight’ Season 2 — Swaps Series Finale to Season Finale

Marvel fans have been in delight for the past few weeks as they enjoy the intriguing story in Marvel Studios’ newest Disney+ series Moon Knight starring Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy.

Five episodes have already been released to date, and the sixth and final episode will release on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. And with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness releasing just a few days later, on May 6, 2022, the MCU fans are surely in for a treat.

Additionally, the fans’ happiness has been getting higher after Marvel Studios indirectly gave a positive response to some fan queries about “Will Moon Knight return for Season 2?” Yes, it seems Moon Knight will return for a second season.

However, that might not have been the initial plan all along at the Marvel Studios office, as the show had been advertised as a six-episode event or limited series.

Besides, in mid-April 2022, Variety exclusively reported that the Marvel execs. had planned to submit their two Disney+ shows, Moon Knight and Hawkeye, for the limited series category at Emmy Awards.

As per the Television Academy rules and regulations, the official criteria to compete in limited series is: “The program must tell a complete, non-recurring story, and not have an ongoing storyline or main characters in subsequent seasons.”

But, it now seems like the plans have been changed for Oscar Isaac-led Moon Knight, just like it did with Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino-led Loki — which was ultimately revived for a second season, as revealed in the season finale’s mid-credits scene.

Now let’s talk about how Marvel seemingly confirmed Moon Knight season two. While releasing a short trailer for Moon Knight’s final episode, Marvel Studios’ official Twitter handle first used the words “epic series finale” in the caption, meaning Moon Knight would be a limited series.

The same thing was done by the official Twitter handles of Moon Knight and Disney+. But, just some minutes after those tweets were made, they were deleted, and another tweet was made with some changes.

Those three official Twitter handles changed only one thing — they replaced “epic series finale” with “epic season finale.” And that one subtle change led fans of the comic book-inspired show to wonder and express their views.

One enthusiastic fan , “oh my @MarvelStudios, deleted the tweet that said, ‘SERIES FINALE’ are changed it to ‘SEASON FINALE.’ Please tell me we getting a season 2!!!!! I need more Oscar Isaac, more more more!! #moonknight.”

“Calling it a ‘season finale’ as opposed to ‘series finale’ in the original tweet before it was deleted implies we’re getting another season….Moon Knight season 2 announcement incoming!” fan wrote.

One fan did some research and , “With WandaVision and TFaTWS [The Falcon and the Winter Soldier] they always said ‘Finale of’ but for Moon Knight they first said ‘Series Finale’ then changed it to ‘Season Finale.’ Yeah, we’re getting a second season LESSSGOOOOO.”

Some fans have also been hoping to get a similar season two announcement as Marvel Studios did with Loki. Let’s hope everything turns out well.

As for what the future holds for the character of Moon Knight in MCU, Oscar Isaac – who plays the lead role of Marc Spector [aka Moon Knight] and his alter Steven Grant – told Variety, “We all agreed that this [show] is what we’re going to focus on. This is the story.”

As he went on, he mentioned that the future of Moon Knight depends on whether people like the show or not, if the audience wants to see more of the character, and if the production crew finds a story that’s worth telling.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson to Star in Robert Eggers' Next Film ‘Werwulf’

After haunting audiences with Nosferatu, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is teaming up once again with director Robert Eggers. This time for a werewolf horror titled Werwulf. The film is already building buzz ahead of its Christmas Day 2026 release, and it may get even hotter with Nosferatu lead Lily-Rose Depp in talks to join the cast.

Eggers will direct from a script he co-wrote with Sjón, his collaborator on The Northman. With Focus Features backing the project, and Working Title producing, Werwulf looks to carry the eerie, mythic tone Eggers is known for — only now under the full moon.

Their last outing, Nosferatu, was a breakout hit, raking in $181 million worldwide and marking a massive return for stylized gothic horror. Taylor-Johnson played Friedrich Harding, a vampire skeptic, while Depp portrayed Ellen, the object of Count Orlok’s obsession.

With werewolves now in his sights, Eggers’ next nightmare seems poised to bite — and Taylor-Johnson is clearly ready to howl.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Roars Into Box Office Success

Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest installment in the dinosaur saga, has stomped its way to box office glory. Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-written by Jurassic Park veteran David Koepp, the film premiered on June 17 in London and hit U.S. theaters on July 2. It has already grossed over $334 million globally against a reported budget of $180 million.

This fresh reboot stars Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali in leading roles, supported by Jonathan Bailey, Ed Skrein, and Rupert Friend. The film shifts slightly from the earlier World trilogy tone, leaning into sci-fi thrills and a suspenseful, character-driven story.

Critics have been split. While some praise the visual effects and performances, others say it doesn’t quite recapture the awe of Spielberg’s original. Still, many fans agree that Rebirth is a major improvement over the previous film, Dominion, and a step in the right direction for the franchise.

With its strong performance, Universal is now reportedly developing spin-offs and planning to expand the Jurassic universe further. After ten films and over three decades of dino-dominance, it seems audiences still aren’t done with the thrill of prehistoric adventure.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially underway, and the cast lineup is as iconic as fans hoped. Meryl Streep returns as the icy editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, joined once again by Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci — reprising their roles nearly two decades after the 2006 original became a cultural classic.

But the sequel isn’t just about the old guard. It’s adding new faces to the high-fashion chaos, including Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, and Bridgerton star Simone Ashley. Acclaimed actor and director Kenneth Branagh will also appear as Miranda’s husband — a character that’s expected to shake up the dynamics at Runway Magazine.

Plot details are still under wraps, but the film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026. It’s expected to explore the evolving world of fashion media while diving deeper into Miranda’s personal life and Andy Sachs’ next chapter. Notably missing is Adrian Grenier, who played Andy’s boyfriend Nate in the original. Sources say his character won’t return for the sequel.

With a mix of nostalgia and fresh energy, The Devil Wears Prada 2 promises to deliver sharp dialogue, high fashion, and the kind of dramatic flair only Miranda Priestly can serve.
