Renee Ash Ends Her ‘Abusive Relationship’ with Boyfriend Monty Lopez

Renée Ash and her boyfriend, Monty Lopez, seem to have finally ended their relationship for good.
Ash and Lopez were together from at least early 2022, when the latter was still dating Addison Rae’s mother, Sheri Easterling. The two had a lot of ups and downs in their relationship.
In fact, they had a couple of break ups throughout the time they were dating. Regardless, they always got back together, no matter how many times they split.
But now, it seems like this is the final break up between Ash and Lopez. Ash took to Instagram to reveal that Lopez was an abusive boyfriend and she had ended their relationship.
She penned a note on her Instagram stories and confirmed that she and Lopez had split. She claimed that she was in an unhealthy relationship with him and hence, had to step away from him.
She wrote, “For a while, I have been in an unhealthy, emotionally abusive relationship which has inhibited the growth of my personal development. I needed to step away to move forward with my life and am taking the necessary steps to ensure that I am in a healthy and positive place.”
Ash added how Lopez had his issues which led to the break up. She wrote, “Furthermore, my former partner’s internal issues have led to difficulties with me and the people around him.”
As a result, she believed it was in Lopez’s best interest to repair the damage between him and his family — his daughter Rae and former wife, Easterling. Ash also noted how Lopez had to work on himself.
At last, she requested people to respect the privacy of everyone and wrote, “Everyone deserves to live a loving and fulfilling life, and I wish all the best for him in this journey. I ask that you please respect the privacy of everyone involved.”

Before she revealed her break up, Ash had hinted at it. She uploaded a post on Instagram where she claimed that she was “officially free of negative energy” that hindered her growth. After she decided to split, she claimed that she was receiving more opportunities than she could ever imagine.
She encouraged her fans and followers to take her as a sign to “remove emotionally abusive people” who did not want to see them grow. She also suggested they surround themselves with people who see the light in them and uplift them.
Soon after she posted the story, she unfollowed Lopez on Instagram. At the time of writing, Lopez still follows her on the platform regardless of their break up.
Ash and Lopez started dating while the latter was still married to his wife, Easterling. Lopez and Easterling always had a turbulent relationship, according to their daughter Rae.
In fact, they were separated before getting remarried in 2017. But in 2022, everything went downhill.
Lopez was exposed to dating several women, including Ash, while still with his wife. Following that, Ash revealed in July 2022 that she was done with Lopez since he misled her about his marriage.
She also talked to Page Six about her relationship with Lopez, claiming that he had lied to her. Regardless, the two got back together in November 2022.
But now, it seems like their relationship is over, and they will not get back anytime soon.

His wife, Nathalie, confirmed the news of his death at the age of 40 as she wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). Her message read, “Two days ago, on June 8th, my husband, Ben Potter, passed away in an unfortunate accident.”
“To many of you, he was Comicstorian, voicing stories from across multiple different mediums. To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive individuals anyone could ask for. As a husband, a son, a brother, a friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine. He was someone who would listen and make time for his loved ones. He would do his best to make everyone laugh and make sure they were okay. He was our rock and he’d reassure his loved ones whenever they needed it.”
She further added, “He was my world and I need time to be with friends and family. I have so many things I need to figure out but firstly, I need to grieve. I ask that you respect my privacy as well as everyone else’s. Right now my priority is preserving everything he’s built and I don’t have any plans beyond that.”
On YouTube, Potter mostly created audio dramas of comic books on his Comicstorian account, regularly discussing the Marvel and DC Universes. He shared his last upload, titled “Why DC’s Reboots Beat Marvel,” just a day before his death.

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, the Ms. Marvel star took to his Instagram handle to make a joint post with his now-fiancee, announcing that they had gotten engaged in an intimate ceremony with their close family members in attendance.
