Fans want American singer Nessa Barrett to collaborate with Lana Del Rey and Mat Musto aka Blackbeard, after they followed each other on Instagram.
Barrett’s fans became excited about the collaboration with Lana Del Rey after she mentioned her name in an at the American Music Awards. She was asked, “if you could record with one artist then who would it be?” to which Barrett said, “I feel like Lana. I just love her and I am very inspired by her. She is all over my playlist. I feel like she has just a distinct style. I appreciate her as an artist.”
On November 21, 2022, Variety posted a clip of her interview with the caption, “Nessa Barrett says her dream collaborator is Lana del Rey.” Following the post, many Barretts’ fans expressed their desire to see them in a future album.
One social media user wrote, “omg these two women would be so iconic together,” while another said, “friend I saw you talking about her and now I read this here I also remembered you kkkkk,” in Portuguese.
Barrett and Del Rey started following each other on social media shortly after Barrett mentioned her desire to collaborate with Del Rey. Barrett also followed Blackbear, which his followers noticed right away and expressed their desire for them to collaborate in the music.
Similarly, whore4tea posted a screenshot of their social media account showing that they had recently followed each other and wrote, “First Lana Del Rey followed her, now blackbear?? We need a collaboration!” followed by a smiley and a heart emoji.
Even though fans are excited to see Barrett, Lana Del Rey, and Blackbear working together on new music, the singers have yet to respond.
Nessa Barrett is TikToker turned singer
When Barrett first entered the public eye, she was well-known for her lip-syncing videos, and now, she’s kicked off a pretty massive music career. She first released her piano-based ballad debut single ‘Pain’ in 2020.

Later in October of the same year, Barrett released her second single, ‘If U Love Me,’ and in August 2021, her song ‘I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead’ debuted at number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Barrett’s life has revolved around music. “If I’m being honest, music is one of the only ways that I can express myself because I can say so much that’s on my mind without actually saying it,” she said in an interview with the music blog Cool Accidents. “It’s my only outlet, my only coping skill and it does help.”
Blackbear dropped out of high school to pursue a music career
Growing up with a heroin-addicted father, Blackbear found solace and escape in music. He then dropped out of high school to pursue music full-time and began sending demos to people in the music industry.
Later, he received one response from the manager of R&B singer Ne-Yo, who invited the young Mat to Los Angeles to spend a week writing songs with him.
Since then, Blackbear entered the music industry and released various studio albums, including, Deadroses, Help, Digital Druglord, and many more.
Lana Del Rey has had a lifelong interest in music
Del Rey began her career by performing at open mic nights and club gigs. She entered a songwriting competition in 2006; she did not win, but a panel judge assisted her in creating a demo, which led to her signing with the indie label ‘5 Points.’
Later, Del Rey posted self-made music videos for her songs ‘Video Games’ and ‘Blue Jeans’ to YouTube in 2011, with vintage footage interspersed with shots of her singing on her webcam.
After a lengthy career in the music industry, her song ‘Born to Die’ achieved commercial success, charting at number one in 11 countries and debuting at number two on the US Billboard 200 album chart. She has since released several albums, including Born to Die, Ultraviolence, Lust for Life, and many more.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Roars Into Box Office Success

Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest installment in the dinosaur saga, has stomped its way to box office glory. Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-written by Jurassic Park veteran David Koepp, the film premiered on June 17 in London and hit U.S. theaters on July 2. It has already grossed over $334 million globally against a reported budget of $180 million.
This fresh reboot stars Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali in leading roles, supported by Jonathan Bailey, Ed Skrein, and Rupert Friend. The film shifts slightly from the earlier World trilogy tone, leaning into sci-fi thrills and a suspenseful, character-driven story.
Critics have been split. While some praise the visual effects and performances, others say it doesn’t quite recapture the awe of Spielberg’s original. Still, many fans agree that Rebirth is a major improvement over the previous film, Dominion, and a step in the right direction for the franchise.
With its strong performance, Universal is now reportedly developing spin-offs and planning to expand the Jurassic universe further. After ten films and over three decades of dino-dominance, it seems audiences still aren’t done with the thrill of prehistoric adventure.

‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Rolls Out Star‑Studded Cast

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially underway, and the cast lineup is as iconic as fans hoped. Meryl Streep returns as the icy editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, joined once again by Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci — reprising their roles nearly two decades after the 2006 original became a cultural classic.
But the sequel isn’t just about the old guard. It’s adding new faces to the high-fashion chaos, including Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, and Bridgerton star Simone Ashley. Acclaimed actor and director Kenneth Branagh will also appear as Miranda’s husband — a character that’s expected to shake up the dynamics at Runway Magazine.
Plot details are still under wraps, but the film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026. It’s expected to explore the evolving world of fashion media while diving deeper into Miranda’s personal life and Andy Sachs’ next chapter. Notably missing is Adrian Grenier, who played Andy’s boyfriend Nate in the original. Sources say his character won’t return for the sequel.
With a mix of nostalgia and fresh energy, The Devil Wears Prada 2 promises to deliver sharp dialogue, high fashion, and the kind of dramatic flair only Miranda Priestly can serve.
