“COVID-19 caused us to postpone our wedding. June 2nd, 2021. Cannot wait to marry this beautiful girl”: Lauren Fisher’s boyfriend Rasmus Wisbech Andersen.
American CrossFit athlete, Lauren Fisher, was all set to walk down the aisle on September 3, 2020, with her handsome fiancé, Rasmus Wisbech Andersen. However, when the global pandemic, COVID-19, spread worldwide and all countries had to shut down everything, Fisher’s wedding plan also got postponed.
But now that the world is getting back to normal, it seems that the Manteca, California native athlete is all set to work once again on her wedding plans. And, she and her fiancé already have a wedding date in their mind.
Through an Instagram post of July 30, 2020, Fisher’s long-time boyfriend turned fiancé, Rasmus Wisbech Andersen, announced that he and Fisher would be sharing the wedding vows on June 2, 2021.
In that announcement post, Andersen had shared some adorable pictures captured alongside his partner and captioned the image, writing, “COVID-19 caused us to postpone our wedding. June 2nd, 2021. Cannot wait to marry this beautiful girl.”
After making such an announcement, the fellow athlete couple’s fans expressed their happiness in the post’s comment section.
In those hundreds of comments, one fan wrote, “You lucky guy! Perfect match,” another fan wrote that he is counting days. He said, “Yes! Countdown.”
Likewise, another Instagram user expressed his joy by writing that it will be worth waiting even though the wedding is quite too far. He wrote, “Awww!!! It’ll be worth the wait!!!”
Speaking of the Fisher and Andersen’s relationship, the duo officially began dating on December 15, 2014. Four and a half years later, on May 2, 2019, while they were on a trip to China, Andersen went down on one knee and proposed the love of his life—she said yes, and they got engaged.
Following the engagement, it was announced that the newly engaged duo would be tying the knots on September 3, 2020. Unfortunately, all of their wedding plans got ruined when the whole world got hit by the global pandemic, COVID-19.
But, all of that was in the past. As of now, the athlete pair is back on the track of planning for their wedding. And, going by Fisher and Andersen’s togetherness, it seems that they will be a perfect husband and wife pair.
