It seems like Malu Trevejo has been arrested!
Her mugshot is making rounds on the internet, and rumors are floating around about her arrest. It initially started from a Facebook page, Miami-Dade Mugshots, which posts local arrest information for the Miami-Dade area.
On April 14, 2023, they posted a mugshot of the singer, which soon went viral. However, the charges were not known at the time of posting.
But now, it has been revealed that she was arrested for a traffic violation.

Soon after Trevejo’s mugshot went viral, RadarOnline reached out to the sources close to the influencer. An attorney for Trevejo revealed that she was booked into jail on April 13, 2023.
She went to jail for a non-moving traffic violation. However, she was released within hours after bail was posted immediately after getting arrested.
The tabloid also reported that Trevejo did not attend a previous court hearing. Similarly, a bench warrant had been issued for it.

The singer allegedly was not aware of the court date. However, RadarOnline.com reported that the situation was quickly resolved.
It seems like Trevejo is no longer in any legal trouble. She has been posting photos and stories on her Instagram, enjoying her time on the beach and sea.
Malu Trevejo’s previous case
In January 2023, Rolling Stone reported that Trevejo was sued by her ex-staff members over abusive treatment. She was sued in Florida by four people who complained that Trevejo inflicted verbal, emotional, and mental abuse on her staffers.
Similarly, the singer would berate them, call them racial slurs, and throw obscenities toward them if they did not respond to her texts. It was also reported that they were seeking at least $4 million.
The singer’s team claimed the allegations were baseless. Jason Ziven, Trevejo’s attorney, told TMZ, “Ms. Trevejo is aware of the false allegations in the lawsuit and looks forward to defending herself against these baseless claims.”
In the end, all the charges were dropped against Trevejo. The dismissal was with prejudice, so the people who filed the lawsuit cannot refile the claims later.
Ziven told RadarOnline that they were happy with the result. He said, “We are happy with that result and will keep vigorously defending Malu and her name against the other plaintiffs.”
