He began his career as a kid actor before landing a prominent part as Landry Clarke in the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights. He went on to play Todd Alquist in season 5 of the AMC criminal drama series Breaking Bad, as well as in the film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. 

He garnered his first Primetime Emmy Award nomination and a Critics’ Choice Television Award for his work as Ed Blumquist in season 2 of the FX anthology series Fargo. Plemons has acted in various films as a supporting actor, including The Master, The Homesman, Black Mass, Bridge of Spies, Game Night, Vice, The Irishman, Judas and the Black Messiah, Jungle Cruise, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, and The Power of the Dog.

For his work as David Mulcahey in Other People, he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. He was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in The Power of the Dog.

Damon is one of Forbes’ most bankable stars, with his films collecting over $3.88 billion at the North American box office, making him one of the highest-grossing actors of all time. He has garnered several honors and nominations, including an Academy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, three British Academy Film Awards, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards.
