He clarified that the channel is ready to make the budget available if needed. He said, “As far as budgetary things, obviously this is a Discovery Channel show.”

“If I convinced them that this homestead needed x projects completed,” then the budget was made available for “significant improvements to a homestead,” he added.

Therefore, it seems that Discovery Channel is the main investor behind the show as well as all the renovations necessary for the participants.

Various sites have reported that Marty has a net worth of $1 million. He is involved in a lot of projects but to date, Homestead Rescue is the biggest one he has been involved with.
