Brianna Lapaglia seamlessly confirmed that the American singer Dixie D’Amelio is in a romantic relationship with a professional hockey player, Trevor Zegras.

During the Plan Bri Uncut podcast, D’Amelio talked about what she might have pursued if she hadn’t become famous.

Amid this conversation, the topic of sports unexpectedly arose. Grace O’Malley initiated the discussion by mentioning hockey players, and it was at that moment that Lapaglia unequivocally confirmed, “She’s dating a hockey player.”

At that particular moment, the singer tried to brush off the subject with a laugh and swiftly steer the conversation in a different direction.

However, the undeniable chemistry between D’Amelio and Zegras suggests that their relationship might indeed be genuine. But the singer could be intentionally keeping their romance under wraps, opting for a highly private approach.

Right after the podcast episode was released, The Tea Talk quickly uploaded the part of the podcast where Lapaglia revealed that D’Amelio is dating a hockey player.

The post was accompanied by a caption that humorously read, “Oopsies! Did #briannalapaglia just unintentionally spill the beans about #dixiedamelio’s relationship with #trevorzegras?’ and included a side-eye emoji.

Upon seeing the post, D’Amelio’s fans had a mixed reaction. Some expressed their happiness for her, with one commenter saying, “Good for her! She seems so much more confident and content this year with her life.”

Likewise, another supportive comment read, “I’m genuinely happy for Dixie; she truly deserves this happiness. Everyone deserves to be happy, so go on, girl, and enjoy your time with your man! Do your thing!”

However, some individuals held a different perspective. One person expressed skepticism, suggesting that D’Amelio’s relationship with Zegras might not endure, while another voiced concern, stating, “I feel like there’s going to be so much drama coming out of this relationship.”

D’Amelio and Zegras’ relationship rumors started in late July 2023 when a celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi posted text messages from a source who claimed to have seen the singer and the hockey player on a date.

Following Deuxmoi’s post, online enthusiasts have actively taken up the detective work, meticulously scrutinizing the influencer’s social media presence, including their list of followers and interactions.

Official confirmation eventually arrived when Twitter’s user @zegraser shared a tweet. In the tweet, it was mentioned that one of D’Amelio’s friends had posted an Instagram story from a restaurant, capturing moments from the singer’s birthday party. 

The image in the story depicted the singer winking playfully at the camera while seated at a spacious table. Notably, in the background of the photo, Zegras’ distinctively slicked-back hair appeared to be visible. 

This visual evidence swiftly convinced many hockey fans on the platform that the two were officially a couple.

American actress Leslie Jones recently shared that the mean and hurtful comments she got because of her part in Ghostbusters hurt her feelings and made her feel down.

In 2016, Jones took on the role of Patty Tolan in the Ghostbusters reboot, a performance that sadly garnered her a barrage of hurtful and offensive comments. 

Just recently, she unveiled her autobiography, titled Leslie F*cking Jones: A Memoir. Within its pages, the actress candidly shared that the negative comments she endured from internet trolls during the filming of the horror-comedy remake reached an unprecedented level of cruelty and hostility. 

Jones emphasized that among all the women in the film, she felt that she was the one who faced the harshest criticism and mistreatment simply because of her race as a Black woman.

The actress recounted an incredibly distressing experience, wherein she revealed that she had received profoundly disturbing videos in which people pretended to hang her. 

Additionally, she mentioned explicit content that involved her photos being used inappropriately by white men. Alongside these distressing visuals, she endured menacing threats, including explicit statements indicating a desire to cause her harm.

Jones also revealed that she tried to respond to her critics on social media initially, but the situation escalated to the point where someone attempted to hack her Twitter account. 

She wrote in her autobiography, “I was facing relentless bullying simply because of my role in a movie, something I had never encountered before, and it was extremely hurtful.”

Nevertheless, despite the intense backlash, the actress noted that she was able to find solace and build strong bonds with her co-stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon.

Following the release of Jones’ autobiography, a social media user initiated a Reddit thread titled “Leslie Jones: Racist ‘Ghostbusters’ Trolls Nearly Broke Me.” Upon seeing the thread, numerous individuals shared their thoughts on the matter. 

One person expressed their empathy, saying, “This makes my heart hurt. This was truly awful just to witness, I can’t imagine what it felt like to go through it. Especially with her relatively newfound fame at the time.” 

Similarly, another person offered their support and admiration, stating, “People are absolute monsters, but Leslie is a legend and I love her.”

But as time went on, it became too much for her to bear. She reached a point where she felt overwhelmed by the negativity and hurtful comments.

Later, the actress left Twitter, expressing her profound distress in a heartfelt tweet, “I feel like I’m in a personal hell. I didn’t do anything to deserve this. It’s just too much. It shouldn’t be like this. So hurt right now.”

After a few months away from Twitter, she came back and expressed that she had no regrets about responding to hate comments, explaining that she thought not retweeting the abusive messages would have let the problem continue.

Jones also disclosed that she had a meeting with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, during which they took effective steps to deactivate numerous accounts responsible for sending her hateful messages.

American online streamer Adin Ross has been consistently expressing his support for rapper Tory Lanez in the context of the ongoing discussions regarding the verdict in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident.

On August 20, 2020, Stallion alleged that Lanez was responsible for shooting her in the foot after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house. Since then, the rapper has been embroiled in a protracted investigation and legal proceedings.

Despite the shocking news, the online streamer has consistently and publicly defended Lanez. Recently, he displayed his support for the rapper by leaving a comment on one of Stallion’s TikTok twerk videos, saying, “We don’t care. Free Tory.”

Following the online streamers’ comment, the official page of The Tea Tok shared a side-by-side picture of Stallion and Ross, along with his comment. 

After the post, one person left a comment, simply saying, ‘Gross,’ while another individual remarked, ‘Defending a culprit,’ reflecting the divided opinions on Ross’s stance.

However, this is not the first instance where he publicly voiced his support for the rapper. Previously, he expressed his backing for Lanez while sharing a throwback video clip of Lanez playing music for him during a livestream. 

In his remarks, Ross made it abundantly clear that he firmly believes Lanez did nothing wrong. He passionately proclaimed, “Free Tory Lanez, by the way,” pausing the video to emphasize the gravity of the situation.

He went on to emphasize, “Remind you, chat. Some girl up in the (explicit), you know what I’m saying, the higher-ups. Trying to ruin this man’s life over some (explicit). It’s just (explicit), bro.”

The streamer added, “You know he’s innocent, chat. We stand by Tory in this chat, bro! We stand by Tory in this chat, bro. Free Tory in the chat, man!”

Similarly, Ross publicly defended Lanez’s character during an appearance on the Full Send Podcast. He openly lauded the rapper’s remarkable and authentic personality, describing him as great and genuine.

The streamer emphasized the closeness of their relationship, revealing that when he faced unsettling incidents like getting swatted and encountering other troubling situations, the rapper would reach out to him consistently with messages like “Are you okay? Get out of LA, come to Miami, pull up on me.”

He further shared that they would spend hours on the phone together, and Lanez always remained authentic in their interactions.

As mentioned above, Stallion accused Lanez of shooting her in the foot in 2020. Initially, Stallion had been reluctant to speak out for a variety of reasons, but now she has come forward with her account of the incident. 

According to BBC news, during a court proceeding, Los Angeles Police disclosed that Stallion had requested to exit the vehicle and heard Lanez shouting at her to dance. An officer testified that the rapper had fired a handgun at Stallion, which aligns with her testimony.

Subsequently, Lanez was arrested, but not for the alleged shooting of Stallion. Instead, he faced charges related to carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

Lanez was later released on bail amounting to $35,000. Reports suggested that The Los Angeles Police Department encountered challenges in locating witnesses who could aid in their investigation. 

In the early stages of the case, there were even reports suggesting that Megan’s injuries might have been caused by broken glass rather than a gunshot wound.
