Andrea Anders’ personal life

Anders was born on May 10, 1975, in Madison, Wisconsin, as the third child of her parents, Terrance and Sally. She grew up in DeForest, Wisconsin, with her sister Torri and brother Sean, where she graduated from DeForest Area High School in 1993.

She then studied acting at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, earning a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in 1997. She subsequently relocated to New Jersey to attend Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, where she received her Master of Fine Arts in 2001. 

Anders met actor Matt LeBlanc in 2004 while co-starring as his love interest on Joey, and the two soon began dating. It was confirmed in 2006 after LeBlanc’s divorce from his wife, Melissa McKnight. 

After more than eight years together, LeBlanc disclosed at the start of 2015 that he and Anders had been separated for some months. Anders announced her pregnancy in late 2016 and spoke extensively during a stand-up comedy show on December 15, 2016.
