Country Music Sensation Larry Fleet Finds New Rhythm in Fitness and Sobriety
Larry Fleet shares all the details on his fitness routine and sobriety.
Larry Fleet has publicly announced that he plans to stay fit this year. The country music singer discussed his plans to get his physical health on track exclusively with People.
Fleet is an American country music singer-songwriter working in the music industry since 2017. He got huge fame through his song titled Where I Find God, which has hit more than 35 million views.
This famous song hit number 43 on the US Country Airplay charts. He is currently signed to Big Loud and has released three digital singles and three albums.
In an interview with People in March 2024, he mentioned all the efforts he has been putting in to keep himself and his family fit. He noted that he has a personal gym in White Bluff, Tennessee, at his home.
Larry Fleet’s new fitness regime
Fleet mentioned that he works out sometimes in his home gym, which he shares with his wife, Phebe, and his two children. He said he also goes out for a bike ride and is currently loving the workout regimen.
Previously, the country music singer used to hate the idea of exercise as he had to exercise before regularly. He recalled the times he felt forced to exercise during the times he was playing football.

Although he has been gaining interest in exercise, he also admits to slacking a bit during winter. However, he is optimistic now and finds new ways to gain motivation.
One of the ways he gains motivation to exercise is by buying and using something for the gym. He usually needs somebody to hold him accountable if this method does not work.
He then jokingly said that if somebody doesn’t hold him accountable, he goes out to eat Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs. He replied, saying, “It’s a journey.”
Despite Fleet’s efforts to create a home gym for himself, he might not have the time to use it to his full potential currently. The singer-songwriter is currently on his Earned It headlining tour, but that doesn’t stop his physical fitness.
Fleet mentioned that he has ropes on his tour bus, which can get his heart rate up and burn his arms and shoulders. He said, “If you’ve got a battle rope, you can pretty much do anything. You can do tons of workouts with that thing. It’s a great tool for 70 bucks.”
Fleet has been very public about his exercising journey and often posts videos of his workouts on social media. His 178K followers on his Instagram account can see the efforts he has been putting into staying fit.
Larry Fleet has decided to embrace sobriety
Getting in his best shape is not the only thing Fleet has worked on over the years. He has also decided to quit drinking as it had a very negative impact on the family.
Fleet mentioned that he didn’t want his kids to see him drunk as he had a bad history with alcohol. He said he used to get wild and throw down all the time.
He also couldn’t control his words and used to say things that he would regret the next day. Therefore, he decided he needed to stop that to stop feeling embarrassed.
Fleet made this decision not just for himself but also for his kids, who look up to him. He also revealed that he now feels much better after he got alcohol out of his life.
He revealed that he hasn’t wanted to drink after he’s altogether quit. The singer-songwriter says that there are things that matter to him more than the party or hanging out.
Larry Fleet’s successful music career
Fleet started singing when he was six years of age. He joined the band Bluegrass, which his grandfather and great uncle ran.
He learned guitar and fiddle through his great-uncle and played for the band. In 2009 and 2010, Fleet played at The Wet Bar in Dickson, TN, and a bar named Evolutions every Friday night.

To fully pursue his music career, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Here, he covered songs at weddings and did other minor works before country singer Jake Owen discovered him.
In 2017, Owen booked him as an opening act, which was the beginning of his excellent career. He competed in a singing competition on the USA Network Real Country, judged by Owen.
Fleet got second place in the tournament and released several independent releases. He was then discovered by Big Loud and signed a contract with them in October of 2019.
The singer also used social media to his advantage and posted a cover of a gospel song every Sunday. Due to this, he was noticed by songwriter Connie Harrington.
His debut single, Where I Find God, which he co-wrote with Harrington, became a massive hit. It immediately entered the Billboard Country Airplay charts at number 58 and peaked at number 43 on July 10, 2021.
Fleet has also released three studio albums to date. His first album, titled Workin’ Hard, was released in 2019. Two years later, he released another studio album titled Stack of Records.
His most recent album is Earned It, which was released in 2023. The singer now has a very stable music career and is currently on tour.

The video then went on to introduce other powerful women, like 30-year-old Erica, a nurse who is in high demand. Then, Nikki was introduced, a 49-year-old layout engineer who survived a life-changing injury.

Other women included were 26-year-old business advisor and artist Kayla and 46-year-old Midwife Megan, who has delivered 500+ babies and has been clean and sober for 17 years. Next came Lisa, who is a special education teacher and a teen mother, followed by 37-year-old Mikeisha, who is a personal shopper, boutique owner, healthcare leader, and a wife and a mother.
The video also included 52-year-old Tracie, who is a property manager, and Slumberkins founders Kelly and Callie. The last person to be introduced was Angela, the co-founder of I Am Foster Kid.
