Michael Oher and Wife Tiffany Got Married in an Intimate Wedding
Congratulations to Michael Oher and Tiffany Michelle Roy on their wedding!
Michael Oher is a married man! And the lucky woman is none other than his longtime girlfriend, Tiffany Michelle Roy.
Elliott Events designed their wedding, and it took place at the JW Marriott Nashville in downtown Nashville. The couple shared the wedding vows on November 5, 2022, but the news wasn’t made public for another two days.
On Monday, November 7, 2022, the former NFL star took to his Instagram handle to share a picture alongside his life partner. The photo was from the couple’s wedding ceremony, where they held hands and possibly exchanged their vows. “Thankful!” Oher captioned the post.
Additionally, the Instagram post gave an insight into the newlyweds’ wardrobe. The groom wore a white shirt, a black suit, and a bow tie. On the other hand, the bride looked stunning in a white gown that had scooped neckline, side slit, and lace-up back.
A couple of hours before announcing his wedding, Oher had posted another picture where he was seen alongside six of his close male friends that were invited to his wedding. He used three red heart emojis to caption the post.
Speaking of people invited to the wedding, multiple guests shared glimpses from Oher’s wedding with Roy. And one of them was American author Fred Minnick, who had posted pictures of the bride and groom dancing and walking down the aisle to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect.’
Minnick had also added a sweet caption that read, “Such an awesome night. Congrats to @michaeloher and Tiffany on a beautiful life together. And let me just say what an amazing ceremony and reception. Marriage is a beautiful thing with your soulmate. Cheers!”
Another person who posted clips from the special day was Oher’s niece Janarria Sanford, who posted two clips and one picture. Out of them, only one video featured Oher and his wife in which they and other guests were dancing. “Mr. and Mrs. Oher,” Sanford wrote.
Since the former Baltimore Ravens player announced his marriage, many friends and well-wishers have congratulated the newlyweds, mainly through the comment section. For instance, one user wrote, “Congrats!!!! My Guy, May Your Marriage Be Forever Blessed!”

Along with the congratulatory messages in the comment section, some comments were left by some confused fans. For example, one user had written, “Congratulations. But I thought you were already married?”
And the confusion behind this comment is because there have been instances in the past where Oher’s current wife, Tiffany Michelle Roy, has been addressed as his wife, either by media outlets or the couple themselves.
As for when Oher addressed Roy as his wife, it was back in July 2017 when the former NFL player was taken to court for allegedly attacking an Uber driver. As per the driver, Girma Berkessa, Oher had asked to follow a car in which his wife was inside.
Moreover, Roy herself has used the term “wife,” hinting that she has been married to Oher for a while. She used that term in the About section of her clothing brand, The Feminish Collection’s website. “She is also a mother and a wife,” was written there.
And if you are one of those confused people, then there is no need to be, as Oher and Roy weren’t married in the past. But it seems like they used to refer to each other as “husband and wife” even before getting married because of their long-term relationship.
Speaking of their relationship, Oher and Roy first met each other more than 15 years ago at the University of Mississippi when Oher was playing football for the Ole Miss Rebels football team.
Sparks flew, and they eventually began dating sometime around 2007. And since then, they have always been together and supported each other through thick and thin.
As years passed, their bond strengthened. And while they were yet to get married, they did welcome a baby boy. However, as both are very private about their togetherness, they have yet to reveal any details about their son.
With a stable relationship and the arrival of a child in their family, the only remaining thing was the legal certification of their love. Oher and Roy went close to that when they got engaged in July 2022, and now, the love birds are officially married.

Lace Morris Feels ‘So Alone’ as a Single Mom with an Infant Son
“I was forced to have to do this on my own.”
Lace Morris is getting candid and opening up about being a single mother to her infant.
The Bachelor in Paradise alum welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Liam Lee, on March 16, 2024. She shares her infant son with marketing mogul Ryan John Nelson, aka Ryan Nelson.
Just a month before the birth of their baby boy, Morris and Nelson decided to part ways. Morris has experienced the emotional challenges of single motherhood, making her journey all the more poignant.
On Friday, April 26, 2024, Morris appeared in Dave Neal’s YouTube video titled “How Bachelor Star Lace Morris Overcame Heartbreak While Pregnant.” The host and the guest had a long conversation about Morris’ life as a single mom and more.
At one point in their conversation, Neal asked the reality TV star what it was like to go through a breakup during pregnancy. She answered that there was no support for many months, and her baby often chilled her out.
She stated, “There was no support. That was a rough eight months. I feel like the baby chilled me out for some reason. Like, pregnancy made me very calm so I handled it the best I could. It was tough. It’s like when you know someone is there, but you feel so alone.”
Morris also revealed that she tried very hard to make things work between herself and her baby daddy. “I stayed and hoped that things would change. I stayed hoping that this was going to work, and it just never did, and I was forced to have to do this on my own,” she said.
As she went on, she mentioned that while she tried to do many things independently, her friends and family members have been very supportive. She told the host, “I have all my mom’s side of the family and my mom came out for a month.”

“I have so many friends and family who are wanting to help me. I say no a lot because I am such a control freak and I think I’ve got it, but now I’m drowning. It’s probably why men struggle with me too, because I am so independent.”
“Not saying that’s what this situation was, but I am so independent and think I can do everything. Maybe being a single mom was what my calling was,” Morris added.
Neal then asked The Bachelor alum how her postpartum healing experience had been. She stated that the mental toll has been harder than the physical toll. “I don’t feel like I’ve lost myself as some people say. Physically, I’ve recovered pretty great. I’m almost at six weeks.”
“The thing that feels like a struggle is that I’m one human doing this all alone. I have had people reach out saying that with a partner it’s even hard, so to be able to do this full-time alone has been really eye-opening. I feel like I’m going insane sometimes,” she concluded.

Matthew Davis Takes Daughters to Work for the First Time

Matthew Davis is enjoying his life as the proud dad of two!
On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the American actor, who cannot be regarded as an avid social media user, took to his relatively new Instagram handle to share some cute updates regarding his two children, both of whom are girls.
He first posted a black-and-white picture in which he was seen taking a mirror selfie while sitting on a couch. Meanwhile, his daughters – Ripley Nightingale Davis and Dorothy Lavender Davis – seemed to be playing around him.
In the caption, Matthew mentioned that he had a last-minute fitting on Saturday, April 27, for his role in the upcoming NBC drama Grosse Pointe Garden Society. However, he couldn’t get a sitter to care for his girls while he was gone for his fitting.
Thankfully, Matthew’s failure to find a good sitter for his kids turned out to be an awesome experience for his daughters. He decided to take his girls with him to the Assembly Studios in Atlanta, the city’s newest and most expansive studio complex.
He wrote, “Had a last minute fitting on Saturday and couldn’t get a sitter in time. Which turned into an awesome first for my girls. Getting to take them to the new Assembly Studios in Atlanta was such a great experience for us!”
While concluding his caption, he thanked NBC Universal and Grosse Pointe Garden Society for his moment. “Thank you so much #NBCUniversal & #GrossePointeGardenSociety for this moment!” his exact words read.
Around an hour after making the initial Instagram post, Matthew took to the same platform to make another post. This time, he shared a colored picture after completing his fitting for the recently announced NBC drama, Grosse Pointe Garden Society.
In the picture, he is seen donning a police uniform, revealing that he will be playing the role of a police officer in the NBC drama. Likewise, the actor was seen alongside his two daughters, donning identical pink-colored outfits.

“Had to call in backup!” Matthew wrote, keeping his caption rather short, followed by hashtags of “GrossePointeGardenSociety” and “NBCUniversal.” He also posted the same picture on his Instagram story and wrote, “On set with the kids. #BlessedLife.”
Overall, it seems like The Vampire Diaries alum relishes all the time he gets with his children before his schedule gets busy. Besides Grosse Pointe Garden Society, Matthew’s IMDb profile reveals he has another upcoming project, Blunt, where he will play the role of Matt Reynolds.
Coming over to Matthew’s kids, he became a father for the first time on March 31, 2020, when his now-former wife, Kiley Casciano, gave birth to a daughter, Ripley. The actor had announced the good news in a now-deleted Instagram post.
He wrote, “Ripley Nightingale Davis. Born March 31st 9:51pm. 7lbs. Blond hair, Blue eyes, Mom’s beautiful face. Thank you everyone for all your love and support. Let’s hope she doesn’t have my Dyslexia.”
On January 24, 2022, Matthew and Kiley became parents for the second time in their lives when they welcomed their second daughter, Dorothy. Kiley announced the news, writing, “Dorothy Lavender Davis – 01. 24. 2022. I love you @immatthewdavis.”
As of this writing, Matthew and Kiley have already ended their marital relationship and share joint custody of their children, as stated in their divorce settlement of February 2024. The now-former couple got engaged on December 23, 2018, and married on the same day.

John Henry Spurlock Details ‘Long Story’ behind His Split from Kat Izzo
“I started to see our differences a lot more.”
John Henry Spurlock is getting candid about his split from his girlfriend-turned-fiancée, Kat Izzo, aka Katherine Izzo.
On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Bachelor in Paradise alum appeared as a guest on the Almost Famous podcast, co-hosted by popular Bachelors Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti. While on the podcast, Spurlock revealed that it was a long story.
Firstly, he stressed that when he started his professional career as a commercial diver known for underwater welding, he had promised himself that he would be dedicated to his profession for ten years and then only prioritize a romantic relationship.
However, he later appeared on reality dating shows, eventually met Izzo, fell in love with her, and got engaged to her. All these events derailed Spurlock’s seemingly predetermined future plans.
He told the podcast co-hosts Higgins and Iaconetti that he frequently moved around a lot looking for jobs. “I told her, as of right now, my career is not relationship friendly. She knew that. But I was like, my plan is to get out of it anyways,” he added.
Spurlock continued, “Things were going really well. Now, I have this job and then I get in this relationship. Then now it’s like, OK, I have to start figuring out what I’m going to do, how I’m going to make this transition to a career that is going to be a lot easier for me and her to work with.”
“It just caught me by surprise. Now I’m starting to stress out about how I’m going to make this move,” he stated, mentioning that whenever he thought about what was next for him and Izzo, he had doubts and noticed their differences more, which became “really hard” for him.
The reality TV star said, “So, I started to have my doubts. Then, I started to see our differences a lot more. So, things just really got hard for me. It got to a point where it was just extremely hard for the both of us. Then basically, I called it quits.”
Spurlock added, “I said, this doesn’t feel right. I think this should be a lot easier than what it is, and it just, it wasn’t the case. I just started thinking to myself, maybe this just isn’t for me. Once I got that in my head, it just kind of spiraled from there.”

Moreover, he said that his mental health wasn’t in a good place at the time. He also revealed that his now-former partner, Izzo, was caught off guard by his decision. But despite their breakup, he claimed that he was still on good terms with Izzo and had only positive things about her.
The 31-year-old North Carolina native stated, “Kat is amazing. She really is something special. She’s not my longest relationship, but Kat’s a catch. I’ll tell you, she definitely did her part. Distance is hard for everybody.”
“When she loves, she gives it her all, and she did everything that she needed to do and then some in order to try to make our relationship work,” Spurlock concluded his statement.
Speaking briefly of Kat Izzo and John Henry Spurlock’s relationship, they met on Bachelor in Paradise season 9. Fast forward to the season finale, they decided to get engaged despite previously having concerns about how fast things were moving between them.
As time passed, those concerns grew, eventually leading to Spurlock’s decision to break up his engagement with Izzo. The newly engaged duo announced their breakup on December 11, 2023, just days after the finale aired.
