Aaron met Sam on the production of their film Nowhere Boy in 2009, when he was 18 and she was 42. The couple began dating and married on June 21, 2012, in the chapel at Babington House.

In May-December, Berry is set to play in a film about a woman infamous for the 23-year-long relationship with her husband that began when he was 13 years old.
Talking about the case of Letourneau, she was a teacher who pled guilty in 1997 to two charges of felony second-degree rape of a minor, making her a sex offender.
Letourneau was 34 years old when she began sexually abusing the youngster, Fualaau, who was 12 years old. He was a sixth-grade student at Burien Elementary School in Washington.
While awaiting punishment, she gave birth to Fualaau’s daughter. With the state seeking a seven-and-a-half-year prison sentence, she negotiated a plea arrangement that included six months in imprisonment with three months suspended and no contact with Fualaau for life, among other conditions.
Shortly after Letourneau had served three months in prison, authorities apprehended her in a vehicle with Fualaau. A court overturned her plea deal and returned the maximum seven-and-a-half-year jail term permitted by statute.
Eight months after returning to prison, she gave birth to Fualaau’s second child, a girl. She was in jail from 1998 until 2004.
Eventually, Letourneau and Fualaau married in May 2005. Fualaau filed for divorce from Letourneau on May 9, 2017, nearly 12 years after they married, but he later withdrew the case.
As of April 2018, Fualaau worked at a home improvement business and as a professional DJ, while Letourneau was employed as a legal assistant.
A source talked about their relationship with People and said, “They know what everyone thinks about their relationship, and they don’t care. They really never have. The wrong stuff that happened was so long ago. They are two grown adults who are living their lives now.”
However, their relationship did not work out. In August 2019, the couple formalized their legal separation.
