All We Know About Erika Jayne’s Diamond Earrings and Her Net Worth

She won the lawsuit to get them back.

Intense lawsuits and winning them is not a new thing to Erika Jayne

Ever since her divorce from her second husband, Thomas Girardi, Jayne has found herself in a legal mess. The pair were accused of allegedly embezzling funds meant for the victims’ families of the 2018 Lion Air plane crash.

Many even complained that the divorce was a facade to hide their asset. Jayne was also ordered to stop selling designer clothing.

Regardless of how much Jayne denied her involvement, people did not believe her. She won a $5 million fraud lawsuit in August 2022, where the judge ruled that she did not know about the alleged fraud.

She recently scored her second legal win where she could keep the diamond earrings her former husband gave her.

Erika Jayne can keep her diamond earrings

Jayne won a judicial battle over a pair of $750,000 earrings she had to surrender last year due to her former husband’s bankruptcy and fraud claims against him.

Last year, Jayne was forced to give away her diamond earrings since it was ruled that those earrings were purchased with stolen funds. Girardi had bought it for $750,000 back in March 2007.

During a hearing in June 2022 in Los Angeles, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Barry Russell found that Girardi acquired the jewelry with funds intended for his clients, who were damaged by the diabetic medicine Rezulin. However, Jayne did not give up.

She pleaded that she deserved the diamond earrings back since they were not a part of Girardi’s bankruptcy estate. Then, months later, it was claimed that the earrings Jayne gave up were not the $750,000 set, but rather another pair of comparable diamond earrings.

Attorney Ronald Richards, who temporarily worked on Girardi’s bankruptcy case, claimed that the diamond earrings Jayne submitted were not the real ones. Then, once Ronald’s wife, Lauren Boyette Richards, was seen wearing the earrings, Jayne failed to recognize the blunder as she sought to return the jewelry.

Jayne then accused the court of a legal error that resulted in the sale of her earrings and cited a period of limitations in her appeal.

After a constant back and forth, Jayne won her diamond earrings back.

The court held that the bankruptcy trustee should not have remanded the earrings and that the bankruptcy court would have to determine custody of the earrings.

Emily Baker, a former Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney and Hollywood legal commentator, shared the court documents on Twitter on July 19, 2023. She wrote, “It’s an interesting result. Now that they have been auctioned, and the money distributed what is the Bankruptcy Court going to do??”

At the time of writing, it has not been revealed if Jayne will get her diamond earrings back after it had been auctioned.

What is Erika Jayne’s net worth?

Because of a couple of lawsuits as well as her divorce, many are curious about Jayne’s net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the reality TV star is well off as she has amassed a net worth of $5 million.

Jayne makes most of her money via The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) where she allegedly gets paid $600,000 per season. Moreover, she is a singer, actress, and author as well.

She has a string of electro-pop tunes to their credit, including ‘How Many F*cks,’ ‘Pretty Mess,’ and ‘Xxpensive,’ and they’ve done rather well. According to the Los Angeles Times, ‘Pretty Mess’ and ‘How Many F*cks’ went to the top of the Billboard Dance Club Songs list.

She’s had nine No. 1 hits in all, which has undoubtedly made her some money. For over three months, Jayne played Roxie Hart in Chicago the Musical

When Broadway closed theatres in 2020 owing to the coronavirus outbreak, her time on stage was cut short. Jayne’s memoir, Pretty Mess, was published in 2018.

She talked about every aspect of her life —  “from her rise to fame as a daring and fiery pop/dance performer and singer; to her decision to accept a role on reality television; to the ups and downs of family life.” The book was on The New York Times bestseller list.

Similarly, she has a good following on her social media. She often partners with various brands, where she reportedly gets a good amount of money for the brand deals.

Therefore, looking at all the endeavors Jayne is doing, it is no surprise that she has a massive net worth.
