Many people suspected him of cheating on Gregg after seeing him kiss another female who wasn’t Gregg. At the time, there were just rumors and faint signs that the pair had split up, but none of them had acknowledged it.
Reeves then took to Twitter to clarify that he did not cheat on his ex girlfriend since, by the time he was making out with a girl, the two had already broken up. He wrote, “We broke up officially the 19th. Josh invited me out to Canada the 22nd. I didn’t cheat. I’m not a cheater.”
Regardless of his clarifying that he did not cheat, netizens did not believe him. Many noted that even though they had broken up, he should not have kissed another female two days into the breakup.
As a result, Reeves has been constantly facing backlash for cheating on Gregg. Despite their break up being over a year, Reeves still gets comments on TikTok and Instagram about him being a cheater.
He recently addressed such a comment on TikTok. A netizen wrote, “Remember when you cheated on Avani?” to which Reeves responded, “I don’t remember that because I didn’t?”
Reeves’s comment was shared on various platforms, including THETEATALK’s profile. There, many netizens took Reeves’s side, claiming that he did not cheat on his ex-girlfriend.

“Y’all do know that there is a difference between announcing your break up and actually breaking publicly. Like they could’ve ended a month before he kissed that girl or a few weeks,” a netizen commented.
Another chimed in, “You guys do know it’s not cheating if they break up, right? No matter if it’s an hour or days later, still not cheating, he was single.”
“They broke up when he was kissing the girl I know it’s right after they broke up too, and it’s [expletive] up but hey when u are breaking up with someone that means ur single and free to do what you want so he didn’t cheat on her,” a netizen pointed out.
Some of the people noted that even though Reeves had broken up with his ex-girlfriend and did not cheat on her, he could have waited before kissing another person. “He didn’t cheat. However, he kissed another two days after a two-year end. A little empathy would be good of him,” one Instagram user noted.
Another person commented, “If you respect the person you just spent two years with, yes, what you do after matters.”
Despite all the speculation about Reeves cheating on Gregg, the latter has not addressed the situation. Before Reeves confirmed their break up, Gregg made a video where she said, “Dear diary, go [explicit] yourself.”
She was also seen crying in another video. Netizens quickly assumed she stated this after discovering her ex-boyfriend was kissing another female.
However, soon after, Reeves confirmed their break up, and since then, Gregg has remained mum on the matter.
