In Dead Reckoning Part One, the stakes are higher than ever as Tom Cruise’s return as Ethan Hunt and his IMF team confront a formidable rogue AI known as “the Entity.” 

As the plot unfolds, the suspense and action intensify, and Kirby’s portrayal of White Widow adds an intriguing layer of mystery to the narrative. 

Kirby’s character’s connections to her deceased father, Max, initially portrayed by Vanessa Redgrave in the franchise’s first film, add depth and complexity to her motivations and actions throughout the movie.

The Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One premiered on the Spanish Steps in Rome on June 19, 2023, and on July 12, 2023, in the United States by Paramount Pictures. 

Additionally, Kirby is confirmed to return in the direct sequel, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, scheduled to hit theaters on June 28, 2024. 

Pieces of a Woman

In the 2020 film Pieces of a Woman, Kirby plays an incredibly powerful and moving performance as the main character, Martha Weiss. 

Directed by Kornél Mundruczó, with a screenplay by Kata Wéber, the movie revolves around Weiss and her partner Sean, portrayed by Shia LaBeouf, as they embark on the journey of parenthood.

Furthermore, the film showcases the emotional toll of a shattered dream and offers a poignant and ultimately transcendent message of hope and healing.

The movie was released in select theaters on December 30, 2020, followed by its digital streaming on Netflix on January 7, 2021.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

The story centers on an unlikely alliance between Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne Johnson, and the outcast Deckard Shaw, as they join forces to combat a cyber-genetically enhanced villain named Brixton Lore, played by Idris Elba. 

Hattie Shaw is at the center of the conflict, being hunted down by Brixton due to her connection to a deadly virus that could threaten the future of humanity. 

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw premiered at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on July 13, 2019, and in the United States on August 2, 2019, by Universal Pictures.

In the 2019 biographical thriller film Mr. Jones, Kirby portrays Ada Brooks, a fellow British journalist who becomes a pivotal figure in the gripping story of Gareth Jones, portrayed by James Norton. 

Directed by the acclaimed Agnieszka Holland, the movie chronicles the harrowing journey of Jones, a journalist from Wales, as he travels to the Soviet Union in 1933.
