The new chapter of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story depicts amazing love stories, and the cast members seem to have picked them up in real life too.
The show serves as a prequel to the popular series Bridgerton. The series is set in the late 18th century and follows the life of Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III of England.
The show explores the early years of Queen Charlotte’s life and her rise to become the queen of England. It portrays her as a strong, independent woman who defies convention and fights for what she believes in and his love story with King George III.
In this article, let’s delve into the real-life love story of the cast of the new Netflix series, whose first episode recently premiered on May 4, 2023.
1. India Ria Amarteifio
India Ria Amarteifio played the role of Young Queen Charlotte in the Netflix series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Her character is the wife of King George III and is known for her striking beauty and fashion sense.
Amarteifio prefers to keep her personal life private, and her social media posts are mainly related to her professional life. However, there have been rumors of her dating her co-star, Corey Mylchreest, who plays young King George in Bridgerton.
Although their characters have intimate scenes together, Amarteifio became shy when asked about their on-screen chemistry translating into real life. She has shared that their relationship extends beyond being co-stars and that Mylchreest is a lovely person to be around.
Fans are excited about their on-screen and off-screen chemistry, whether it’s a romance or a close friendship.
2. Corey Mylchreest
Corey Mylchreest’s played the role of a younger version of King George III, who was the husband of Queen Charlotte. King George III was known for his struggles with mental illness, which is depicted in the series.
Mylchreest keeps his personal life private but did reveal in an interview with Extra in April 2023 that he does have a girlfriend.
When asked if he’d seen Bridgerton before his role on the show, he explained, “I was told not to watch it, to try not to emulate any of the performances. And as soon as I got the job, I was like, ‘Alright, I gotta binge this thing.’ I sat down with my girlfriend and we did the whole shebang.”
Well, he did mention having a girlfriend but nothing more than that. Thus, we can’t say more about his dating life.
3. Golda Rosheuvel
Golda Rosheuvel plays the role of an older Queen Charlotte in the Netflix series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Her character is the queen consort of King George III and is known for her extravagant fashion sense and love for social events.
Throughout the series, Queen Charlotte is portrayed as a woman who is deeply invested in the lives of her subjects and has a great deal of influence over her husband, the king.
She is also shown to be a shrewd strategist who is able to manipulate those around her to achieve her goals.
In real life, the star has been a proud lesbian all her life. She’s in a happy relationship with writer Shireen Muller.
She used to work at several theaters in London, as did Russiaville. Perhaps that’s how the two creative souls met. In August of this year, the couple will celebrate their 10th anniversary.
4. Adjoa Andoh
Adjoa Andoh plays the role of Lady Danbury in the Netflix series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Lady Danbury is a wealthy and influential figure in London’s high society.
Andoh’s portrayal of Lady Danbury has been praised for her commanding presence and sharp wit, and she has become a fan favorite among viewers of the show. The character’s strong friendship with Queen Charlotte also plays a significant role in the series.
Andoh’s encounter with her now-husband, Howard Cunnell, dates back to 1994 when he was employed at a bookstore close to her theater company.
According to her interview with The Guardian in 2022, Andoh spotted Cunnell behind the till with a warm smile and a beam of sunlight illuminating his presence.
Soon enough, they hit it off and started dating in 1995, eventually welcoming two children together in 1996 and 1997. The couple tied the knot in 2001 and currently call Sussex, England, their home as of 2023.

Fleet is married to fellow actor Jane Booker. They tied the knot in 1985 after meeting while working on “The Time of Your Life” play.
According to My London News, the couple’s characters didn’t have any lines together, but they fell in love offstage. Fleet admitted he lacked the confidence to move, leaving Booker to take the lead. The couple has a son named Hamish.
6. Sam Clemmett
Sam Clemmett played the role of Prince George in the Netflix series. Prince George, the eldest son of Queen Charlotte and King George III, is portrayed as a rebellious and troubled teenager struggling with mental health.
According to her Instagram page, Clemmett has been romantically involved with hairstylist Danarose Clemmett since November 2019.
In August 2022, the couple got engaged and tied the knot just a few months later, in October 2022. The actor expressed her gratitude for the relationship, writing on Instagram a couple of weeks later, “I’ve been married to my best friend for 2 weeks. Damn, I’m lucky.”
7. Ruth Gemmell
Ruth Gemmell plays the role of Violet Bridgerton in the series, who is the affectionate and caring mother figure of the Bridgerton family. She has consistently encouraged her children to pursue love, just as she did with her late husband, Edmund.
Throughout the series, we witness Violet and her companions, Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte, grappling with their feelings and the need for companionship.
Gemmell was married to Ray Stevenson, an actor whom she met while filming the British TV show Band of Gold in 1995. They began dating right away and tied the knot that same year.
After being married for a decade, the couple parted ways in 2005. Since her divorce, Gemmell has chosen to keep her personal life out of the public eye.

Alex Warren ‘Fever Dream’: The Hype House Alum Enters a New Era with Vulnerable Ballad
Fresh off his Grammy-winning night, the ‘Ordinary’ singer returns with a raw anthem about finding love when you’ve lost all hope.
Alex Warren is officially cementing his place as one of the definitive voices of his generation. On Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, the Grammy-nominated superstar released his highly anticipated new single “Fever Dream,” marking the start of a sophisticated third album cycle. While Warren first captivated audiences as a founding member of the TikTok collective Hype House, his trajectory into a legitimate pop powerhouse has been one of the most remarkable transformations in the digital era.
The release of “Fever Dream” follows a career-defining month for Warren. Earlier in February, he took the stage at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards for a hauntingly beautiful performance of his #1 hit single “Ordinary,” which earned him critical acclaim for his vocal growth and stage presence. This new track continues that momentum, leaning into a raw, cinematic sound that explores the psychological weight of unexpected romance.
At its core, “Fever Dream” is about the disorientation of falling for someone at the exact moment you’ve decided to give up on love entirely. The chorus captures that sense of hallucinatory shock: “Left the room the second that you walked in, somethin’ like a fever dream / Haven’t slept in weeks, I think I’m seeing things / Like our shadows dancing us out of our clothes / I’ll be damned if you love me, damned if you don’t.”
The production on the track highlights Warren’s signature ability to blend vulnerable, raspy vocals with a grand, orchestral-pop backdrop. Since the release of his debut projects, Warren has shifted away from the polished teen-pop sounds of his early career toward a more mature, singer-songwriter aesthetic that resonates with a wider demographic.
In interviews leading up to the release, Warren has been candid about his creative process, describing his upcoming third album as his “most honest work yet.” He credited his wife, Kouvr Annon, as a major source of inspiration, noting that the stability of their relationship has allowed him to revisit his past anxieties about love with a fresh perspective. As “Fever Dream” begins its climb up the streaming charts, it’s clear that Alex Warren is no longer just a “TikToker who sings,” but a world-class artist leading the 2026 pop landscape.

Bruno Mars ‘Risk It All’ Lyrics: Everything to Know About the Emotional New Wedding Anthem
The Grammy winner celebrates a lifetime of love in a tear-jerking music video that follows a couple from their wedding day to their golden years.
Bruno Mars is officially ushering in a new era of romance. On Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, the Grammy-winning superstar released his long-awaited solo studio album, The Romantic, marking his first full-length solo body of work in a decade. While the album is packed with the groovy, retro-soul vibes fans have craved since 24K Magic, the standout track “Risk It All” is already being hailed as the ultimate wedding anthem of the decade.
The release was a synchronized event for the “Hooligans,” as Mars dropped the full album and the cinematic music video for “Risk It All” simultaneously at midnight. The track is a soaring, piano-driven ballad that explores the lengths one is willing to go for a soulmate. “Say you want the moon / Watch me learn to fly / Ain’t no mountain you could point to / I wouldn’t climb,” Mars croons in the soaring chorus. “It’s crazy, but it’s true / There’s nothing I won’t do / I’d risk it all for you.”
The accompanying music video, directed by Mars alongside longtime collaborator Daniel Ramos, adds a tear-jerking visual layer to the lyrics. The video features Mars getting married to a woman, and in a rapid-fire sequence of beautifully shot vignettes, we watch their life together flash before our eyes. The narrative follows them through the milestones of buying a home and raising a family, eventually showing them as an elderly couple still deeply in love. The video’s “life-flash” concept has already drawn comparisons to the emotional opening of the movie Up, with fans taking to social media to share their “ugly cry” reactions.
The arrival of The Romantic follows a series of massive global wins for Mars. In 2025, he became a dominant force on the charts with record-breaking collaborations like “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and the viral sensation “APT.” with BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ. While those tracks leaned into pop-rock and upbeat energy, “Risk It All” signals a return to the solo vulnerability and soulful balladry that first made Mars a household name with hits like “Just the Way You Are.”
Co-produced by Mars and D’Mile, with songwriting contributions from James Fauntleroy and Brody Brown, the album is a compact, intimate journey that Mars describes as his most personal work yet. To celebrate the launch, the singer opened “The Romantic Flower Shop,” a pop-up event in Los Angeles where fans can receive exclusive merchandise and themed bouquets.
The new music arrives just as Mars prepares to hit the road for “The Romantic Tour,” a massive stadium trek kicking off this spring. The tour has already sold out multiple nights at major arenas, proving that even after a decade between solo albums, the world is still more than willing to risk it all for a ticket to see Bruno Mars.
