Emma Roberts is a talented American actress known for her performance in numerous movies and TV shows, including Unfabulous, Lymelife, Scream 4, We’re the Millers, American Horror Story, and Scream Queens.

She is now set to make her Marvel debut, playing the key role of Mary Parker – the mother of Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man – in the upcoming movie Madame Web. The film, whose trailer was released in November 2023, is expected to hit the theaters on February 14, 2024.

Besides Sony’s superhero film, Roberts has six more upcoming projects, all of which have gained the attention of movie lovers. Likewise, people who have just become familiar with her works are eager to watch more of her, mainly on streaming platforms like Netflix.

So, are there any Emma Roberts movies on Netflix? Has she worked on any project for the giant streaming service? The answer is yes, as there are some movies that feature Roberts and are available to stream on Netflix.

Wild Child (2008)

Wild Child is on the top of the list if we start it in the order of the release date, with the movie being released on August 15, 2008. This teen comedy movie, described as heartfelt and feel-good by Netflix, was directed by Nick Moore.

In this movie, Roberts portrays the lead role of Poppy Moore, a wealthy but spoiled and rebellious girl from Malibu, California, who gets sent to a boarding school in England by her widowed father. There, she learns the meaning of life and friendship.

Wild Child paved the road for Roberts’ success in the entertainment industry as it slowly gained a cult following, especially in the UK, where the movie is set. Natasha Richardson, Shirley Henderson, Georgia King, and Juno Temple were Roberts’ co-stars in it.

Hotel for Dogs (2009)

Hotel for Dogs is another popular movie that paved the road for Roberts’ success. The American family comedy film, released on January 16, 2009, was directed by Thor Freudenthal — it was Freudenthal’s directorial debut.

The movie, based on Lois Duncan’s 1971 novel of the same name, starred Roberts as Andi, with other talented actors joining the cast, including Jake T. Austin, Kyla Pratt, Lisa Kudrow, Kevin Dillon, and Don Cheadle.

The movie follows two orphanage siblings – played by Roberts and Austin – living in foster care. They and their dog, neglected by their home, eventually find a vacant hotel, where they find more stray dogs. The rest is history!

Valentine’s Day (2010)

By 2010, Roberts had already shared the screen with some big and fellow uprising stars of the entertainment industry. But things got even bigger when she was cast as Grace in Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day, which was released on February 12, 2010.

The American romantic comedy film, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, featured a star cast with the likes of Jessica Alba, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Julia Roberts, and Bryce Robinson.

Taylor Swift was also featured in this movie, making her acting debut. “Intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles break-up and make-up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentine’s Day” is the official synopsis of the movie on IMDb.

Ashby (2015)

Ashby is a slightly different movie than the above-mentioned ones. This 2015 movie is an American crime comedy-drama that was written and directed by Tony McNamara. It was initially shown at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 19, 2015.

Months later, on September 25, 2015, the film was released in the United States. As for the synopsis, the official IMDb page writes, “High-school student Ed Wallis enters into a friendship with his neighbor, Ashby, a retired CIA assassin who only has a few months left to live.”

Coming over to the cast members, the movie featured Nat Wolff as Ed Wallis, Mickey Rourke as Ashby Holt, Emma Roberts as Eloise, Sarah Silverman as June Wallis, Adam Aalderks as Valchek, Michael Lerner as Entwhistle, and Audrey Reid Couch as Hayley.

Little Italy (2018)

Little Italy is another romantic comedy film for which Roberts received much appraisal from the fans. In it, Roberts portrays the role of Nicoletta Angioli, aka Nikki, and playing her love interest is actor Hayden Christensen as Leonard Campoli, aka Leo.

The film follows Nikki and Leo, two kids who grew up together in a place called Little Italy but were separated due to feuds between their families. The couple eventually reunite after a long time and form a blossoming romance, which they now must navigate.

The 2018 Canadian-American romantic comedy film was initially released in Canada on August 24, 2018, and hit theaters in the United States on September 21, 2018. The movie was wildly criticized for its poor screenplay.

UglyDolls (2019)

UglyDolls is an animated musical adventure-comedy film in which Roberts voices the character of Wedgehead. The movie is regarded as a family-friendly film which is perfect for an all-ages audience.

In addition to Roberts, the animated film includes some renowned names in the voice acting ensemble, such as Nick Jonas, Kelly Clarkson, Lizzo, Blake Shelton, and Pitbull. Likewise, Kelly Asbury is the movie’s director, with Alison Peck, Robert Rodriguez, and David Horvath serving as the writers.

The movie, released on May 3, 2019, was reportedly made on a budget of $45–53 million and made a worldwide box office collection of $32.5 million. On a sad note, it was director Asbury’s last film as she died in June 2020 from cancer.

Holidate (2020)

Holidate is probably Roberts’ first and only movie that directly hit the streaming platform Netflix, unlike other movies that were released first in the theatres and were later to Netflix’s library.

The film, distributed by Netflix, was released on October 28, 2020. Similarly, in it, she portrayed the role of Sloane Benson, with Luke Bracey as Jackson, Andrew Bachelor as Neil, Jessica Capshaw as Abby, Manish Dayal as Faarooq, and Alex Moffat as Peter.

“Fed up with being single on holidays, two strangers agree to be each other’s platonic plus-ones all year long, only to catch real feelings along the way” is the official synopsis of the romantic comedy, which was directed by John Whitesell.

The Hunt (2020)

If you need a break from Roberts’ family-friendly or romantic dramas on Netflix, then The Hunt is a perfect choice. One might describe the movie as a mixture of Squid Game and The Hunger Games.

The movie is led by Betty Gilpin, who plays the role of Crystal May Creasey. She is joined by Roberts as Yoga Pants, along with multiple other stars such as Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, and Ike Barinholtz.

“Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen – for a very specific purpose – The Hunt” is the official synopsis of the 90-minute R-rated movie.

Maybe I Do (2023)

Maybe I Do is one of the newest movies of Roberts that has been added to Netflix’s library. This romantic comedy film was written and directed by Michael Jacobs and is based on his play titled Cheaters.

The movie is Jacobs’ feature directorial debut. Additionally, the film stars Richard Gere as Howard, Diane Keaton as Grace, Susan Sarandon as Monica, Emma Roberts as Michelle, Luke Bracey as Allen, and William H. Macy as Sam.

“Michelle and Allen are in a relationship. They decide to invite their parents to finally meet about marriage. Turns out, the parents already know one another well, which leads to some differing opinions about marriage,” is the official synopsis of the film on IMDb.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Roars Into Box Office Success

Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest installment in the dinosaur saga, has stomped its way to box office glory. Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-written by Jurassic Park veteran David Koepp, the film premiered on June 17 in London and hit U.S. theaters on July 2. It has already grossed over $334 million globally against a reported budget of $180 million.

This fresh reboot stars Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali in leading roles, supported by Jonathan Bailey, Ed Skrein, and Rupert Friend. The film shifts slightly from the earlier World trilogy tone, leaning into sci-fi thrills and a suspenseful, character-driven story.

Critics have been split. While some praise the visual effects and performances, others say it doesn’t quite recapture the awe of Spielberg’s original. Still, many fans agree that Rebirth is a major improvement over the previous film, Dominion, and a step in the right direction for the franchise.

With its strong performance, Universal is now reportedly developing spin-offs and planning to expand the Jurassic universe further. After ten films and over three decades of dino-dominance, it seems audiences still aren’t done with the thrill of prehistoric adventure.

‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Rolls Out Star‑Studded Cast

The Glamour Buff Team

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially underway, and the cast lineup is as iconic as fans hoped. Meryl Streep returns as the icy editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, joined once again by Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci — reprising their roles nearly two decades after the 2006 original became a cultural classic.

But the sequel isn’t just about the old guard. It’s adding new faces to the high-fashion chaos, including Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, and Bridgerton star Simone Ashley. Acclaimed actor and director Kenneth Branagh will also appear as Miranda’s husband — a character that’s expected to shake up the dynamics at Runway Magazine.

Plot details are still under wraps, but the film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026. It’s expected to explore the evolving world of fashion media while diving deeper into Miranda’s personal life and Andy Sachs’ next chapter. Notably missing is Adrian Grenier, who played Andy’s boyfriend Nate in the original. Sources say his character won’t return for the sequel.

With a mix of nostalgia and fresh energy, The Devil Wears Prada 2 promises to deliver sharp dialogue, high fashion, and the kind of dramatic flair only Miranda Priestly can serve.
