Jordyn Woods grew up in the eyes of the public because of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, especially as Kylie Jenner‘s best friend.
While growing up in the limelight has its own pros, it also has a lot of cons. Speaking of the cons, Woods was constantly scrutinized for her weight and height, leading her to doubt her self-image.
She has been very open about her struggles with her height and weight, body image, and her self-confidence by growing up in Hollywood. She talked with The Cut regarding her body image and noted that she did not realize how much her weight and height affected her unless she went to different places.
She said, “Everyone in L.A. thinks that you have to look one way and tries to look that way. There’s so much plastic surgery and so many girls who aren’t confident because they’re trying to follow this guideline.”
“L.A. is just not real. It’s not a real place. It’s an amazing place, but the people there … it’s like everyone’s always trying to walk in a fashion show or be a certain size,” she added.
Even though she struggled in the early days, she has since grown into a confident woman who loves her body.
That being said, she still gets constantly accused of getting plastic surgery, with netizens comparing her before and after photos. However, Woods has never admitted to getting plastic surgery.

Back in 2019, just when Woods’s appearance started changing, Radar Online asked several plastic surgeons and experts about their opinions on the social media influencer.
Many surgeons claimed that Woods’s nose had changed significantly. Dr. Adam Schaffner, NYC’s Triple Board Certified plastic surgeon said, “She appears to have improved the appearance of her nose that may be due to a rhinoplasty.”
He noted that Woods might not have undergone plastic surgery for her face, and it might be due to lighting and makeup that her face looks different. However, he said, “She may have used Botox or Dysport to smooth wrinkles, as well as fillers, such as Restylane or Voluma, to better define her cheeks. Jordyn may have also had skin resurfacing treatments!”
Dr. Tim Sayed agreed with Woods getting Botox and noted that the higher arch in her eyebrows might be because of a liquid eyebrow lift using Botox. He also pointed out that she used lip fillers and said;
“She’s also used an injectable lip filler such as Juvederm or Restylane to increase the volume and enhance the sexier shape of her lips, as well as buccal fat removal to give her a more dramatic slimmed down face and profile.”
Dr. Anthony Youn agreed with fellow plastic surgeons regarding their opinion on Woods going under the knife. He complimented her skin and said, “She looks amazing, and being best friends with Kylie definitely paid off for her. I would also say that she has impeccable skin now, most likely the result of a top-of-the-line skincare regimen, as well as skin resurfacing.”

Regardless of all the accusations, Woods has not admitted to getting plastic surgery or any other cosmetic procedures. The only known transformation she underwent was her teeth.
Previously, Woods had a teeth gap between the front two teeth. In 2018, she closed a gap in her teeth, which marked a significant improvement in her physical appearance, despite claiming that she would never change her teeth.
Back in June 2017, she took to Instagram to upload a selfie of herself and wrote, “Often people have the nerve to say fix your teeth … for your information, no I will not fix my gap to blend in with the rest of society!” in the caption.
“My gap defines who I am. In this time where everyone is trying to fit in and stay up, your uniqueness is one of your most valuable assets,” she continued. However, a couple of months later, she closed the gap between her teeth.
Jordyn Woods’s weight loss transformation
The majority of Woods’s transformation over the years came through weight loss. As she grew old, she turned into a fitness-obsessed person. Besides, she told Life & Style how working out was her therapy.
She said, “Working out became my therapy, it’s the one hour I don’t go on my phone, I don’t do anything, I just solely work out. So I looked at it as more of a therapy than to lose weight or to look a certain way … that was just the benefit. A healthier lifestyle.”
Working out and weight loss was how Woods coped with her father’s death in 2017 as well. She claimed that she went to the gym instead of going to therapy.
She said, “So, not only are you working on yourself to be better but working up those stairs. That just increases your level for happiness and everything else, so I always will tell someone, ‘If you’re upset about something and you don’t really want to talk about it or you don’t know what to do, just get up and go do something to make yourself feel better.’”
While Woods has opened up everything about being a fitness junkie and how weight loss had transformed her life, people still compare the before and after photos of her and accuse her of plastic surgery.
In September 2021, the influencer released her new workout app, FrstPlace. She celebrated the business by uploading a before and after snapshot of her fitness journey, which drew criticism in the comments area, accusing her of having cosmetic surgery.
Her boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns, had enough of the accusations. So, he took to Twitter to write a long thread defending his girlfriends against those who accuse her of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.
He wrote that Woods was all natural and fitness changed her life. He wrote, “She went out the put the damn work in and changed her whole life. FITNESS SAVED HER LIFE!”

“It’s sad we live in a world where if you spread positivity and love, you’re met with twice the hate and looked at as weak and “uncool”. You’ve stayed true to YOU. Through everything, you stayed loving, caring, and devoted to helping people,” he wrote.
He admired his girlfriend and asked her not to be affected by the false narratives people had painted about her. He said that the next generation was lucky to have a role model like Woods and appreciated her passion for fitness, exercise, and weight loss.
