The wrestler nonchalantly commented, “Well, I wouldn’t wrestle while I was pregnant because you’ll end up killing the poor thing.” In a lighter tone, they quipped about whether anyone had ever wrestled while pregnant, suggesting it might have happened accidentally.

“One day I would like little me’s little body Matthews running around. They’re going to annoy the crap out of me but I’m gonna get everything I dished out as a kid,” Ripley continues.

She was then asked if she wanted her kids to be legacy wrestlers, to which she replied “Umm, yes and no. I don’t know I feel like I would love that just to keep the name going and have that massive family line in hopefully WWE. At the same time, I also know what goes into this profession how hard it is, and how taxing it is on your body and your mind and I don’t know if I want that for my kids or not. Like I do but I don’t. It’s so amazing on the other side of things but it also takes a lot outta you. But I guess we’ll see down the line.”

Ripley then talked about her husband, stating, “Whereas for him, he has been in the WWE, he’s been wrestling for over 10 years, maybe 15 years… for a long long time. At the end of the day, the platform that I’m on is higher and I feel like he doesn’t get threatened by that.”

The wrestler also said that her fiancée reassures her that he doesn’t get threatened by her popularity and she trusts him. She also reveals that he helps her grow along the way and it is what a relationship should be like.

Mike Santana Reveals Reasons Why He Left All Elite Wrestling

Former Inner Circle member Mike Santana has officially parted ways with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). His absence from the company’s roster page last week and lack of backstage presence for months hinted at his departure.

In a candid interview, he explained the factors that led to his decision, offering insights into his vision for the future and his battles during this transitional period.

This article delves into revelations, exploring the rationale behind his departure, his aspirations, and how he navigated the challenges accompanying this significant career shift.

Mike Santana talked about the reason behind leaving AEW

Based on his recent interview, personal factors and a need for a break from the intense schedule and demands of the wrestling industry primarily drove Santana’s decision to leave (AEW).

Despite being part of the famous Inner Circle faction, he revealed that his departure was not sudden but rather a well-thought-out decision that predated his injury in June 2022.

He candidly admitted that he was dealing with many personal and professional challenges, leading to burnout, and he realized that he needed to step away from AEW to address these issues.

His contract was set to expire in September 2022, and even before his injury, he had already decided not to re-sign with the company. The injury itself compounded an already difficult situation for Santana, adding to his challenges at the time.

He described it as a “very dark time” for him, suggesting that he was grappling with personal struggles that necessitated taking a break from the rigors of professional wrestling.

While Santana was uncertain about AEW’s intentions to re-sign him, he acknowledged that a new deal might have been on the table. However, his priority was not actively pursuing a contract renewal but instead focusing on his well-being and addressing the issues he faced in his personal life.

Mike Santana dealt with a period of unhappiness in his life

Santana’s decision to leave AEW was deeply rooted in unhappiness and personal struggles that extended beyond the professional realm.

Santana described himself as miserable, with his partnership deteriorating and his professional life at AEW stagnating.

As someone who is goal-oriented and driven to reach the industry’s top, the lack of progress and growth took a toll on his overall well-being.

However, the most significant challenge Santana faced during this time was his ongoing struggle with addiction. He admitted that his addiction issues were becoming increasingly severe, to the point where he would disappear for days without coming home.

In a heartbreaking moment, he revealed that his daughter’s Christmas wish that year was for her “daddy to stop,” Additionally, a letter from his grandmother further highlighted the pain he was causing those around him.

His decision to leave AEW was not solely driven by professional factors but rather a recognition that he needed to prioritize his well-being and address the personal struggles that were causing profound unhappiness.

How Mike Santana saw his future in wresting while struggling

Santana’s struggles extended far beyond just the professional realm of wrestling. When he got injured in June 2022, his mindset needed to be more focused on a potential return to the ring once he recovered.

He revealed that he had been operating in “survival mode” for most of his life, constantly on guard and pushing through day by day, a coping mechanism likely rooted in the challenges he faced during his childhood.

He admitted to internalizing and suppressing a lot of trauma and difficult experiences from his upbringing, as his mother had instilled in him the idea that “whatever happens at home, stays at home.”

In this vulnerable state, Santana’s primary concern was not about his future in wrestling or a potential return to the ring after recovering from his injury.

Instead, he was consumed by the need to step away from the demanding world of professional wrestling and focus on addressing his struggles, unhappiness, and the deep-rooted issues that had been weighing him down for years.

Mike Santana addressed his departure in a heartfelt post

Santana’s departure from AEW was addressed in a heartfelt social media post, where he reflected on his journey with the company and expressed his gratitude for the opportunities he had been given.

In his statement, he acknowledged the rollercoaster ride of ups and downs he experienced during his five-year tenure with AEW. Still, he emphasized that it taught him invaluable lessons about himself and the wrestling business.

However, Santana also recognized that there comes a time in life when one must make difficult decisions and take risks to unlock their true potential.

He firmly believes in the adage, “When one door closes, a bigger door opens,” he expressed excitement for what the future holds for him as he embarks on a new chapter.

In his heartfelt post, he extended his gratitude to various individuals and entities that have played a significant role in his journey. He thanked God and his late father for their guidance and his family for their unwavering support.

Additionally, he acknowledged the fans who have backed him relentlessly, regardless of the circumstances.

Santana also paid tribute to his long-time tag team partner, Ortiz, who shared many memorable moments in AEW. He expressed his appreciation for AEW itself, acknowledging the knowledge and opportunities the company provided him.

Mike Santana’s career

Santana, also known by his ring names “Mike Draztik” and “The RICANstruction,” has had an extensive career in professional wrestling spanning over 16 years.

His wrestling style is described as an “all-ro,der,.” He has worked under the guidance of renowned trainer Magic, honing his craft and developing a repertoire that has earned him nicknames like “The Nasty Assassin” and “The Real Deal.”

Early in his career, Santana made a name for himself on the independent circuit, competing in various promotions before joining forces with Ortiz to form a formidable tag team.

Together, they have had runs in several notable wrestling organizations, including Ring of Honor, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, and IMPACT Wrestling, where they debuted in 2017.

Gaming Icon Ninja’s Shocking Cancer Diagnosis at 32

Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins is a streaming phenomenon and one of the biggest names in esports. The 32-year-old is the most followed streamer on Twitch, his primary platform, but now multi-streams across various sites after ending his exclusivity deal.

However, he recently disclosed a devastating piece of news – he has been diagnosed with cancer. The gaming icon, known for his incredible skills in battle royale titles, is now facing a different battle.

In this article, we delve into his cancer diagnosis and how he is coping with this challenging situation.

Ninja revealed his cancer diagnosis through a tweet

Blevins sent shockwaves through the streaming community and his massive fanbase on March 26th with a devastating revelation – he has been diagnosed with melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer.

He took to his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), to share the news, admitting that he had known about the diagnosis for some time.

The journey to this diagnosis began during a routine checkup with his dermatologist, where a mole on the bottom of his foot raised concerns.

The mole was promptly removed and sent for testing, which ultimately confirmed the presence of melanoma. His wife, Jessica Blevins, had proactively scheduled this dermatologist appointment.

In his social media post, he expressed his shock, “A few weeks ago, I went in for an annual skin/mole check that Jess proactively scheduled for me. There was a mole on the bottom of my foot that they wanted to remove just to be careful.”

“It came back as melanoma, but they are optimistic that we caught it in the early stages.”

However, the ordeal didn’t end there. The doctors discovered another dark spot adjacent to the initial mole, prompting a biopsy in the hopes of confirming that the cancer had been entirely removed. Further testing is now required to determine if the area is indeed noncancerous.

Ninja urged his fans to get regular checkups

In the wake of his shocking melanoma revelation, Belvins didn’t just share his battle; he also took the opportunity to raise awareness and encourage his massive fanbase to prioritize their health.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, he turned his diagnosis into a public service announcement (PSA) for regular skin checkups.

In his social media post, he urged his followers, saying, “Please take this as a PSA to get skin checkups.” He recognized that while his melanoma was caught in the early stages, skin cancer can often go unnoticed for years, silently progressing on a patient’s body.

By sharing his personal experience, he aimed to raise awareness about the seriousness of melanoma and the importance of regular screenings.

His call to action resonated deeply with his fanbase. Many of his younger followers admitted to just learning about melanoma through his announcement, prompting them to research the condition and vow to get themselves checked as soon as possible.

Ninja has been receiving an outpour of support

As the news of Belvins’ cancer diagnosis spread, the gaming and streaming worlds rallied around him, offering messages of love, encouragement, and well-wishes.

Numerous fellow content creators took to social media to express their support and admiration for his courage in sharing his battle.

Among those offering support was popular Twitch streamer DansGaming, who commended Belvins for catching the melanoma early, stating, “Glad you caught it early. This very procedure would have saved my mom’s life if they caught it early enough.”

Fortnite star SypherPK also chimed in, sending positive vibes to Belvins and his wife Jessica, who proactively scheduled the dermatologist appointment. SypherPK’s message read, “Hoping for the best. Lots of love to Jess for being proactive as well.”

Jake’n’Bake, another Twitch streamer, thanked him for raising awareness, stating, “Thanks for keeping people aware! And hopes everything was able to be removed without further issues.”

Beyond these messages, a wave of support flooded in from numerous other content creators, including Nick Eh 30, BrookeAB, CouRage, Wipz, and Belvins’ brother, BeardedBlevins.

Many expressed their love and well-wishes, highlighting the strong bond within the gaming community and the reverence they hold for him.

Ninja continues to stream even after the diagnosis

Belvins or Ninja, the gaming icon and the most followed streamer on Twitch, has not let his cancer battle slow him down.

After ending his exclusivity deal with the Amazon-owned platform, he has embraced multi-streaming, reaching millions of followers across various platforms.

Even in the face of such a life-altering diagnosis, he has shown no outward signs of letting it affect his streaming presence or his infectious energy.

He has continued to stream regularly, entertaining his loyal fanbase with his trademark gaming prowess and engaging personality.

Just days after revealing his melanoma diagnosis, Ninja took to his Instagram page, which boasts an impressive 12.4 million followers, to share a series of clips that captured him in high spirits.

The videos showcased him laughing and enjoying himself while playing Fortnite’s ever-popular battle royale game.

While the road ahead may be filled with challenges and uncertainties, Ninja’s decision to continue streaming despite his diagnosis sends a powerful message to his followers.

It demonstrates his determination to maintain a sense of normalcy and positivity, refusing to let the circumstances define him or deter him from pursuing his passion.

Ninja’s streaming career

Blevins began his professional gaming career in 2009, playing Halo 3 for organizations like Cloud9, Renegades, Team Liquid, and Luminosity Gaming.

His streaming journey started in 2011, initially playing games like H1Z1 and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). However, his popularity skyrocketed when he began streaming the newly released Fortnite Battle Royale in late 2017.

His viewership grew exponentially, coinciding with the game’s meteoric rise in popularity, reaching over 2 million followers on Twitch by March 2018. His concurrent viewership records on Twitch were repeatedly broken as he gained more fame.

In March 2018, he became the first streamer to surpass 3 million followers on the platform. He set the record for the largest concurrent audience on an individual stream (outside of tournaments) with 635,000 viewers while playing Fortnite.

However, after Mixer’s shutdown in July 2020, he was released from his exclusivity deal.

In September 2020, he returned to streaming on Twitch after signing a multi-year exclusive agreement with the platform.

However, in September 2022, he announced a “Time Out” from streaming, hinting at taking a break.
