Cam Newton is a proud father of his many children.

Cam Newton is a highly skilled American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. With a career spanning 11 seasons, Newton has predominantly played for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL).

Newton, a renowned football player, is not only a champion on the field but also a proud father of seven children. In an endearing display of his affection for his little ones, he refers to himself as their “daddy.”

While Newton’s football career has earned him numerous accolades, his role as a father is equally significant and admirable. Here is some more related information on the footballer’s life as a father to his offspring and other related details.

Cam Newton is proud to be a father

Newton once said in an Instagram post he made on Father’s Day 2021, “A Daddy isn’t defined as the man who makes the child (NOT in all instances) but rather, a MAN who extends his hands and time to help with the child’s raising.”

Newton said that a father is also someone who dedicates their “heart to love the child through anything! Blood doesn’t always make you ‘Daddy.’”

As mentioned in Hollywood Life, Newton expressed that being a dad is a matter of the heart, and he believes that anyone can father a child, but it takes a real man to raise them.

He acknowledged and congratulated all genuine fathers worldwide and wished them a happy Father’s Day. He wrote, “Anybody can make a baby, but it takes a real man to raise a child. Kudos to all the real men worldwide. Happy Father’s Day to us!”

How many kids does Cam Newton have?

While Newton is no Nick Cannon, who has 12 kids, the former is still a father of seven kids. Among his seven kids, five are his biological children. Likewise, he has also stepped forward and adopted the children of his girlfriends.

That said, let’s have a brief introduction with all of his seven children!

Chosen Sebastian Newton

Chosen Sebastian Newton is the first and oldest child of Cam, whom he shares with his now-former girlfriend Kia Proctor. Chosen, of African American ethnicity, was born on December 24, 2015, making him 7 years of age as of now.

Among Cam’s seven children, Chosen is by far the most popular one. As for how Chosen was named Chosen, Cam once revealed that he didn’t want to name his child after himself and wanted a name for his son that was both unique and masculine.

As mentioned above, Chosen is currently 7 years of age. However, Cam hopes Chosen will follow in his footsteps and play American football. Besides, he once joked that Chosen had already started receiving scholarship offers from different colleges.

Jokes apart, Cam loves his first child very much. He had also written a Father’s Day poem for his son where he told Chosen to be a better man and ensure that he would always protect his mother and younger siblings.

Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton

After exactly a year after Chosen was born, Cam’s parents announced that he was expecting a second child with his then-girlfriend, Proctor. And in early 2017, the now-former couple welcomed a daughter named Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton.

At that time, the NFL star didn’t disclose his daughter’s date of birth, leading people to wonder if his daughter was either born in February 2017 or April 2017. Thankfully, the speculations were cleared by Cam, revealing Sovereign-Dior was born on February 3, 2017.

Similarly, Sovereign-Dior’s birth date wasn’t the only thing that Cam kept hidden, as he also didn’t reveal her face until December of the same year. In December 2017, he finally shared a picture of his daughter taken alongside his other family members.

When Sovereign-Dior was three-year-old, Cam and Proctor decided to part ways. At the time, Cam revealed that he didn’t share the wedding vows with the mother of her two kids because he wasn’t prepared to be a better husband.

Camidas Swain Newton

Camidas Swain Newton is the third child, or the second son, of Cam and Proctor. Camidas was born on July 6, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. As Cam is American, Camidas also holds American nationality. Similarly, his ethnicity is African-American.

By the time Camidas was born, Cam and Proctor had been in a romantic relationship for six years, and things seemed to be going well. Besides, fans, close friends, and relatives of the couple were eagerly expecting the couple to get engaged and see them plan their wedding.

However, things turned sour between the couple — Camidas was only one-year-old at the time. One thing led to another, and by 2019, the couple announced their breakup. It was also reported that the two split after Cam was caught cheating on Proctor with LaReina Shaw, an Instagram model.

Cashmere Saint Newton

Before Newton and Proctor finally went on their separate ways, the then-couple welcomed their fourth and last biological children, a son named Cashmere Saint Newton. Proctor confirmed her pregnancy news via an Instagram post in May 2019.

And on September 30, 2019, she gave birth to Cashmere. That said, the parents initially kept privacy around their baby boy’s name and face and finally revealed it in December 2019, when Proctor posted a family photo during Christmas.

Shortly after Cashmere’s birth, Proctor learned that Cam had impregnated someone else and that the woman he was having an affair with had given birth to their baby around the same time as Cashmere’s birth. This led to the end of Cam’s relationship with Proctor.

Later, during his appearance in a podcast, Cam referenced his split with Proctor and mentioned that he betrayed his long-time partner and jeopardized the family he had created with her by not only having an affair but also welcoming a child with that woman.

Following the split of Cam and Proctor, the custody of their four children – Chosen, Sovereign-Dior, Camidas, and Cashmere – was given to Proctor. That said, Cam still had visitation rights, so he was still very much involved in his children’s lives.

As for what happened after Cam and Proctor’s split, the two initially fought a legal battle over child support, with Proctor asking the court to order Cam to pay her $1500 per month as child support. The two eventually settled on co-parenting.

Shakira Whitley

Shakira Whitley is the first of Cam’s adopted kids. Whitley is Proctor’s daughter from her previous relationship — Whitley was born on February 17, 2007, making her 16 years of age now.

As of this writing, there has been no mention of Whitley’s biological father. And while Cam might have known who the father was, he decided to ignore it and adopted Whitley when he started dating Proctor — Whitley was 5-year-old when Cam adopted her.

It was only three years after Cam adopted Whitley that he and Proctor welcomed their first biological child, Chosen. So, many might even regard Whitley was the first child of Cam and Proctor.

After adopting Whitley, everything changed for Cam. Besides, he once mentioned Whitley as the girl who came and changed his life. And even though he wasn’t married to Proctor, nobody could tell her he wasn’t her dad.

As of 2023, it’s known that Whitley is enrolled at Atlanta-based Midtown High School, formerly called Henry W. Grady High School. Furthermore, Whitley and her half-siblings currently reside with Proctor, while still maintaining a good relationship with Cam.

Caesar Lorenzo Newton

Caesar Lorenzo Newton is the fifth biological child of Cam and his sixth of all his children. Born on July 4, 2019, Caesar is the son of Cam from his fling with Instagram model, LaReina Shaw.

As mentioned above, Caesar was born around the same time when Cam was still together with his then-girlfriend Proctor and the then-couple were about to welcome their son Cashmere. At that time of Caesar’s birth, Cam had already split with Shaw.

In one of his interviews, Cam had indicated that the circumstances leading to the birth of his fifth and fourth child was a mistake which eventually cost him his relationship with Proctor. And while it was embarrassing, he didn’t kept Caesar hidden from the world.

Jaden Amarrio

Jaden Amarrio is another of Cam’s adopted children and the oldest of all his kids. Amarrio is the son of Shaw from her her previously relationship — Shaw welcomed Amarrio when she was around 20-year-old.

Amarrio was born on February 19, 2006, making him 17 years old now. Following his birth, Shaw raised him as a single mother. That said, it’s still unknown who Amarrio’s biological father is as neither Shaw nor Amarrio has given away any details about that man.

Similarly, it’s also remains a mystery when Cam and Shaw first began and began their affair. But what’s known to the public is that Amarrio became a member of Cam’s family after the birth of Caesar, and Cam chose to become a father figure in Amarrio’s life as well.

Fast forward to now, Cam and Amarrio have built a great relationship, which is also visible on their respective social media handles where they often feature each other alongside a heartfelt caption.

For instance, during one of Amarrio’s birthdays, Cam wished him via social media and assured him that he was going to be there for him no matter what. In another instance, Cam posted a picture of his sons, including Amarrio, and said he was raising princes into kings.

Stephen Curry To Bring The Underrated Golf Tour This Summer

NBA legend Stephen Curry’s Underrated Golf U.S. Tour returns this summer for its third season.

More than just golf, the tour aims to empower underrepresented youth. Curry expects the tour to be a gateway to further opportunities for junior golfers from various backgrounds.

“Golf has always been one of the most powerful vehicles to spark professional and social conversations,” Curry said.

The event will kick off from June 21 to June 23 at Old Barnwell Golf Course in Aiken, South Carolina. The tour will then move to Pumpkin Ridge Ghost Creek Golf Club in Portland from July 8 to July 10.

The next stop is the Warren Golf Course at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana, from July 22 to July 24. The final stop is TPC San Antonio in San Antonio from August 7 to August 9.

During the event’s climax, the Curry Cup, the top 24 best performers will face each other in a final match at The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey.

Rooting for the underdogs

The tour is mainly sponsored by Curry’s lifestyle brand Underrated. Global tax advisory firm KPMG also acts as a partner for the event.

The tour player and brand ambassador for KPMG, Mariah Stackhouse, will also join as the host for KPMG Leadership Day at the Curry Cup. Stackhouse said last year’s Curry Cup and KPMG Leadership Day were special for her.

“Underrated is about so much more than golf. It’s about a shared goal of empowering the next generation in meaningful ways by imparting the critical success factors that go into winning, far beyond what you see in a final score,” she said.

“I’m honored to be part of this family alongside Steph and my friends at KPMG and look forward to elevating Underrated even further this year.”

Curry, a four-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, established Underrated in 2019. The brand aims to identify overlooked talents and provide them with a platform for recognition. According to Curry, it draws from his experiences as an underestimated athlete.

The Underrated Golf U.S. Tour includes seminars on business ethics and career paths in the industry. Athletes can also network with golf coaches and industry leaders.

Passion and expansion

Despite his basketball stardom, Curry’s love for other golf is evident with his wins in tournaments such as the American celebrity golf tournament in Nevada in 2023.

Curry, who dropped a Hole-in-One during the tournament, made the U.S. turn its attention towards him. According to rumors, many were betting on his results, including those monitoring very fast Golf in-play betting. Many celebrities congratulated him on social media, while some reporters asked if he would shift his career to golf after the swing.

His interest in golf is driven by his family, who takes golfing more seriously. His wife, Ayesha Curry, is also said to enjoy playing golf with Curry across the globe.

In line with that passion, Curry is planning to expand the European tour this year. According to Curry, the golf system for students and athletes in Europe is similarly exclusive and exclusionary to the U.S.

Therefore, Curry intended the Underrated Golf European Tour to allow junior golfers in Europe to meet top-tier college recruiters. This is especially backed up by the fact that the European series has seen massive growth in only two years,

The top three boy and girl winners from last season’s Underrated Golf Tour have been invited to play at Walton Heath Golf Club in the southwest of London for its Europe season-opening tournament.

If all goes to plan, the top boy and girl winners from the European leg will automatically win entry into the 2024 Curry Cup.

Managerial career of Xabi Alonso

Xabi earned his license after completing the UEFA elite coaching course in 2018 and joined the Real Madrid U14s as a coach. In 2019, he was appointed manager of Segunda División B club Real Sociedad B. He coached the club until the end of the 2021-22 season.

He appeared against Logroñés in December 1999 in a Copa del Rey match but was quickly loaned out to Eibar to gain first-team experience. However, his loan spell was short-lived as Sociedad was in the relegation zone, and the manager called him back to help out the team.

This move from the coach was successful, as the team finished at 14 positions at the end of the season. He was also made the young captain of the team.

His performance in the 2002-03 season is considered one of the best league performances for Real Sociedad.

He helped the team to finish second place, just two points below Real Madrid, and helped the team to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. He was also called up for the Spanish national football team and made his international debut in April 2003.

On 20 August 2004, he signed a contract with Liverpool, marking the beginning of a new era at Anfield. He made his debut at the Reebok Stadium against Bolton Wanderers, but the team lost the match by 1-0. He was, however, praised for his passing skills.

Oscar De La Hoya Praises Jaime Munguia Ahead of Canelo Alvarez Fight

Oscar De La Hoya is the founder of Golden Boy Boxing Promotions.

Oscar De La Hoya Praises Jaime Munguia Boxing Combination

Boxing Promoter Oscar De La Hoya has heaped huge praise on the young boxer Jaime Munguia and believes he can beat veteran champion boxer Canelo Alvarez.

He has praised the combination of the young boxer and revealed that he has more endurance and stamina than the Mexican legend.

Oscar De La Hoya picks Jaime Munguia to beat Canleo Alvarez

De La Hoya, who is a famous boxing promoter and former boxer, has picked Mungula to emerge victorious in his fight against Alvarez.

He believes Munguia has what it takes to beat Alvarez in their upcoming fight on May 4th. He also thinks this fight will mark a “changing of the guard,” with 27-year-old Munguia with a record of 43-0, 34 KOs, defeating the undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo with a record of 60-2-2, 39 KOs.

The Mexican is 33 years old and seems to have lost some speed and agility in his last three fights. However, it remains to be seen if Canelo has slipped enough to be beaten by a fellow Mexican who has fought lesser opposition or if he still has enough in him to defeat this fighter with a 100% win record.

Oscar De La Hoya and Ryan Garcia Feud explained

De La Hoya has been growing through a legal and social media feud with top boxing star Ryan Garcia. Their relationship sounded right before Garcia’s fight against Gervonta Davis. However, after the loss against the veteran champion, their relationship started to sour.

During the post-match press conference of the boxing match, Hoya was nowhere to be found as he left the event immediately. Garcia was all alone in facing the questions from the media and the trolling from the fans, which made him feel betrayed.

After this, Garcia, signed to Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions, started plotting to leave the promotions. He publicly criticized how he was left alone to face his demons and urged De La Hoya to let him go of his contract.

This led to a legal battle between them as the promotions sued Garcia, and Garcia sued them in return for the breach of contract.

The legal lawsuit is still ongoing between the two former partners. Both have confirmed neither party wants any money, as Garcia wants to leave the promotion ASAP while Hoya wants him to honor his contract until the end.

He said in the official podcast, “I’m not suing him for money, he’s not suing me for money. I just want him to honor my contract. That’s it.”

He also urged him to honor their contract and reminded them of their obligations. He expressed his desire for them to fight and become legends.

He mentioned his reluctance to have Garcia fight Gervonta “Tank” Davis with a rehydration clause, emphasizing that he was seeking his best interests. He also noted that people influenced Garcia to switch promoters by promising greater care and financial gain.

Brief Info on Oscar De La Hoya’s Career

De La Hoya is a former professional boxer and current boxing promoter who owns the Golden Boy promotions.

He has accomplished a lot in his career, winning 11 world titles in six different weight classes, including three lineal championships. His journey to success began with a great performance at the 1992 Summer Olympics, where he won a gold medal in the lightweight division for the United States.

Throughout his career, De La Hoya received a lot of recognition. He was named The Ring magazine Fighter of the Year in 1995 and was the top-rated pound-for-pound fighter in the world in both 1997 and 1998.

In addition to boxing, he has also made significant progress in sports promotion. In 2002, he started Golden Boy Promotions, making him the first American of Mexican descent to own a national boxing promotional firm.

This venture highlighted his entrepreneurial drive and dedication to improving the sport. Additionally, De La Hoya broadened his promotional efforts to encompass mixed martial arts (MMA), a notable milestone in combat sports.

Other than his interests in sports, he also has a keen interest in politics. In 2020, he was thinking very seriously about running for the presidency of the United States. In an interview when asked about it he stated, If the numbers look right… I’m gonna go for it.”
