Unfortunately, this isolation contributed to unhealthy habits as she candidly shared, “I locked myself in the house for two months, I drank every single day and ate every single day, and I gained it all, and it was a pandemic.”

Rose was born to her parents, Eseho Omolongo and Kamango Paul Hollela, both of Congolese descent. Her family made the significant decision to immigrate to the United Kingdom when Rose was just seven years old, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Throughout her childhood, the television personality shared a close and affectionate bond with both her father and mother. Tragically, the warmth of this bond was altered when her mother passed away in 2016. 

In a poignant revelation on YouTube, she opened up about the sudden and devastating loss, sharing the heartbreaking detail that her mother died in her arms. 

Reflecting on this profound and unexpected event, she expressed, “Literally not even a month, just a couple of weeks, after I turned 19, my mum passed away. It was something that you don’t expect, you don’t plan; it just happened. I didn’t wake up that day thinking, “Oh, my mum is going to pass away.” She literally just died in my arms.”

After the passing of her mother in 2016, Rose faced another profound loss when her father died in 2020. In May of that year, she paid a heartfelt tribute to her dad on Instagram, sharing a collection of photos that captured cherished moments between them. 

Alongside the post, the television star expressed her emotions, saying, “Rest in Peace Daddy, watching you suffer for the past month has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, but at least you’re not in pain anymore.”

She continued, “Gonna make you the proudest dad ever in the years to come because I know you’re still by my side every step of the way.”

Rose has one sibling, an older brother, whose name remains unknown. Opening up about their relationship with their late mother, she shared with her followers, “Me, my mum, and my brother used to be the three musketeers,” highlighting the close bond they shared.
