Taylor Swift and Fernando Alonso’s Dating Rumors Debunked

When the news of Taylor Swift breaking up with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, hit the internet, it sent everyone into a frenzy mode.

Moreover, after learning that Swift and Alwyn were broken up for a couple of weeks and the singer might be dating someone new, Swifties were devastated. Swift is currently on her tour, so she has not addressed the breakup or dating rumors.

But netizens believe that she is dating someone new, and it might be the Spanish motorsports racing driver, Fernando Alonso.

Is Taylor Swift dating Fernando Alonso?

It is unknown if Swift is dating Alonso. Neither of them has addressed the rumors at the time of writing.

However, netizens seem to think otherwise. DeuxMoi, an Instagram page that reports about A-listers via anonymous sources, took to IG stories to reveal that Swift might be dating Alonso casually.

An anonymous source told them that Spanish magazines had been hinting that the pair were seeing each other for a week. But they were not in a serious relationship since both of them had recently broken up with their partners.

Alonso was dating his partner, Andrea Schlager, but they broke up in April 2023. Since Swift and Alonso were recently single, many connected the dots and presumed that the pair were seeing each other.

Furthermore, many believed that Swift’s song ‘Anti-Hero’ was about the F1 racer. Regardless, it is mere speculation, and nothing can be said for sure until the duo confirms their relationship.

Fans are not happy with Swift and Alonso being linked together. Many joked that the idea of them in a relationship was absurd, while many asked people not to address it at all.

While there are rumors about Swift dating someone new, the past has not left her. Many believe that her break-up with Alwyn was not mutual and that the latter might have cheated on her.

This speculation also emerged from DeuxMoi where an anonymous source reported that the split is messier than it seems. They pointed out that Swift’s brother, The Haim Sisters, and Ryan Reynolds —  all of who are close to Swift —  had unfollowed Alwyn on Instagram.

Reynolds allegedly unfollowed Alwyn after he was spotted at a dinner with his wife, Blake Lively, and Swift. The source also noted how there were cheating rumors going on.

After Swift and Alwyn broke up, their relationship was a hot topic for days. Swift always had bad experiences in relationships and the longest one she had was with Alwyn.

She even wrote songs for Alwyn, including ‘Invisible String,’ ‘Peace,’ ‘Lover,’ ‘Delicate,’ ‘King of my Heart,’ ‘The Archer,’ ‘Dress,’ ‘Cornelia Street,’ and ‘London Boy,’ among others.

Many believed that Alwyn could not handle the heat that came with being her boyfriend. As a result, many speculated that the actor might have done something to upset Swift, along with her near and dear ones —  hence the cheating speculations.

But once again, before Alwyn or Swift confirms the rumors, nothing can be said for sure.
