Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Together at Grammys after Party

American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift added another 2023 Grammy to her collection and was seen celebrating until late at the Grammy’s after-party with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

Swift reportedly hosted a Star-Studded Grammys after-party at the exclusive hotel Chateau Marmont on February 6, 2023, in West Hollywood, Calif. ET confirmed that the singer attended the party with Alwyn. The couple stayed late at the party and had a great time together.

Similarly, The Swift Society shared the news about Swift and her boyfriend attending the Grammys party. Following the post, many of their followers commented on how they felt about them partying together. One person wrote, “I would love to see them together, but I’m happy that they are celebrating, having fun in private without paparazzi invading their privacy.”

In addition to Swift and Alwyn, many other celebrities were photographed at the party. Camila Cabello and Lana Del Rey were one of the celebrities who attended the party.

Even though the singer and her boyfriend were spotted together at the Grammys After Party, Alwyn did not accompany her on the 2023 Grammys Red Carpet.

Why didn’t Joe Alwyn join Taylor Swift on the Grammys red carpet in 2023?

Alwyn and Swift have never appeared on the red carpet together. Even though Swift received four nominations, the duo did not appear together at the 2023 Grammys. Therefore, Swift walked the red carpet alone, wearing a bejeweled navy crop top and skirt.

However, the week before, Alwyn subtly praised Swift by posting an Instagram Story with a picture of her cat Meredith.

The couple has been together for over six years but has kept everything about their romance private. Alwyn explained to Elle Uk last April why he wouldn’t talk about Swift. He said, “It’s not really because I want to be guarded and private; it’s more a response to something else.”

Alwyn added, “We live in a culture that is so increasingly intrusive…. The more you give—and frankly, even if you don’t give it—something will be taken.”

Similarly, Swift explained to The Guardian in 2019 why she wanted to keep her relationship with Alwyn private. She said, “I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion. If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it—but it’s just that it goes out into the world. That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable.”

Joe Alwyn’s absence from Grammys awards made him a trend on social media

Alwyn began trending on Twitter after his longtime partner Swift attended the 2023 Grammy Awards without him.

Following the event, Swift fans wanted to know if Swift’s boyfriend was trying to protect her. This led to the resurgence of the #CanJoeAlywnFight trend on Twitter.

This isn’t the first time Alwyn was asked if he could protect her and keep her safe at social events. The same hashtag began trending on Twitter during the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards held in Germany.
