Lana Del Rey Comments on Taylor Swift’s ‘Snow on the Beach’ Collab

American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey made an intriguing remark about her Taylor Swift collaboration, ‘Snow On the Beach.’

Swift’s song ‘Snow on the Beach,’ featuring Rey, was released in 2022. At that time, she also called Rey the most influential pop artist and thanked her for working with her. This raised fan expectations for the song.

However, when the song was released, some fans were disappointed that Rey’s voice was not featured as noticeably throughout the song. People noticed Rey’s feature is audibly pretty buried, only rising to sing the tiny chorus phrases “Snow on the beach,” “It’s coming down,” and “Are we falling?” as well as the words “Aha” and… “Janet.”

Eventually, their fans created thousands of hilarious memes about the entire incident. On Twitter, one user , “snow on the beach is so good that lana is speechless,” while another said, “oomf said taylor gave lana the wrong address for the beach.” Additionally, many people also wanted to know what influenced her decision to only include a small portion of Rey in the song.

However, Swift has not yet addressed why Rey only contributes background vocals to ‘Snow on the Beach.’ On the other hand, Rey recently expressed her viewpoint on Swift’s song, which has sparked some debate online.

Rey posted multiple photos of her sister Chuck Grant, Taylor, and Jack Antonoff on her alternate Instagram account, @honeymoon. She wrote, along with the post, “I would’ve sung the entire second verse if I had known, I was the only feature buttttt my production skills were on point and Chuck’s photo skills are fire.”

Following Rey’s statement, many people were confused about what she meant. One person wrote, “I don’t get it. Can someone fill me in? So did she want to sing more, or did she not really want to sing that much on the song? So confused! Lol” Likewise, another person said they could re-record ’cause I wanna more taylana, and we know Lana’s voice is like an angel.”

Even though many people have criticized Rey and Swift for their collaborative song ‘Snow On the Beach,’ the duo does not appear to have any issues with one another. They were recently seen together at Taylor Swift’s Grammy after-party.

After the Grammy award event, Swift hosted a star-studded after-party at the exclusive hotel Chateau Marmont on February 6, 2023, in West Hollywood, Calif. More than 25 celebrities were invited to the party, including Rey.

Rey wore a leather jacket, black leggings, and a boot to the Swift after-party. Later, many of her followers commented on how she dressed in 2018 looks. One of her fans wrote on Reddit, “for real!!!! Lana is just as gorg now as she ever was.”

Recently, Rey posted a photo from Swift’s after-party. The photo implied they had a great time and a lot of fun. Following the post, many of her fans expressed interest in seeing Rey and Swift together in the photo. Furthermore, one person stated, “I just know they were high af,” while another inquired, “Why is Rey not in the pictures, though?”
