Openly bisexual singer Reneé Rapp is reportedly dating Towa Bird!

As per reports, Rapp and Bird, who identifies as queer, have been in a romantic relationship for months after ending their relationship with their respective now-former partners.

Rumors of Rapp and Bird dating emerged in late 2023 after the latter joined Rapp as the opening act during her Snow Hard Feelings Tour. The tour was announced in June 2023 and began on September 15, 2023.

By December 2023, rumors of Rapp and Bird dating were already flying across social media. An insider has now revealed to DeuxMoi – an Instagram-based gossip and news media – that they are more than friends.

DeuxMoi was tipped off about Rapp getting cozy with Bird at her 24th birthday party on January 10, 2024. This info was later shared by DeuxMoi via their Instagram story as a part of their weekly celeb sighting segment.

The anonymous source mentioned they were at Joyface, a New York-based restaurant, on January 10, where they saw Rapp celebrating her birthday with Bird and her other friends. They mentioned that Rapp and Birds were handsy all night and dancing together.

They had written, “Anon please: I was at joyface last night with Renee Rapp celebrating her bday and her and towa bird are def dating or at least look like it. Handsy all night, dancing together.” “They’re both such sweeties. Took pictures with people,” they added.

A couple of days before, on January 8, the rumored couple was seen together as they sat next to each other at the Mean Girls after-party in New York City. Mean Girls is a reboot of the 2004 film of the same name. In the 2024 version, Rapp plays the role of Regina George.

Coming back to Rapp and Bird’s reported romance, it has sent fans into a frenzy, with many claiming Rapp and Bird began dating after they ended their relationship with their respective girlfriends.

For instance, when one fan if Rapp was no longer dating her girlfriend, Alissa Carrington, another replied, “She hasn’t been for months now.” “She is now with someone else who was a touring member of her band, Towa Bird,” they added.

Later, another Twitter user jumped into the conversation and claimed Bird had a partner before she began dating Rapp. They , “Towa Bird had a girlfriend too. They both ended it with their partners and have been seeing each other since.”

Likewise, when another curious wrote, “I thought she was still with her girlfriend?” another chimed in and , “I don’t follow her too closely but I’ve seen her stans pretty sure they broke up at some point during the tour? They hadn’t been around at all and well… towa has been.”

Speaking of tours, Bird recently opened up about her experience opening for Rapp. Bird mentioned that it was an incredible privilege to be able to open for Rapp and to play for her huge fanbase at an early point in her career.

“I’m still a baby girl. I only have four songs out. And we are playing rooms up to 7k capacity. So wild! Also, the hangs are absolutely immense. Top quality people. Unfortunately, Reneé is the best,” Bird concluded her statement.

As of this writing, neither Rapp nor Bird have confirmed the nature of their relationship. Bird was previously in a long-term relationship with her girlfriend, Liv Solomon. During her interview with NME, it was mentioned that they were in a long-distance relationship.

Bird and Solomon – who lives in New York – met through Instagram and had been dating for two and a half years as of November 2023. “She is literally one of the coolest people I’ve ever met,” Bird gushed at the time.

“She’s so funny and incredible and kind. Even though we have this tough context right now, I just don’t see myself being with anyone else in the way that we are together. I’m absolutely down to sacrifice it for her, you know?” she added to her statement.

Fast forward to January 2024, Bird is rumored to be dating Rapp. It currently remains unknown if and why Bird decided to break up with Solomon, as she was full of praise for her long-distance girlfriend just a few months ago.

Rapp’s dating life is also the same. As mentioned earlier, Rapp was dating TikTok star Alissa Carrington, aka Alissa Butt. They sparked dating rumors in January 2023 and hard-launched their relationship in August 2023 via a TikTok video.

In the video, the actress stated that she found someone who she really loved, and the camera then transitioned to her lying on top of Carrington. In the same month, Rapp even opened up to The Cut about being in a queer relationship.

The singer even discussed finding a partner she loved and felt safe and comfortable with during her August 2023 interview with People Magazine. Then again, Rapp is now reportedly dating Bird. For now, fans have to wait and see if the parties involved clarify the situation.
