Fans have been caught up with Hannah Godwin’s romantic journey with her husband, Dylan Barbour, since they met during the filming of Bachelor in Paradise season 6.

When the love birds got married in August 2023, after a lengthy engagement, netizens began wondering whether they would welcome a baby anytime soon. Now, Godwin is opening up a bit on the topic of babies.

On Monday, March 4, 2024, Godwin was on a plane ride home to Alabama. During the journey, she decided to conduct a Q&A via her Instagram handle. When she did that, many asked her if she and her husband wanted children.

Replying to one Instagram user, Godwin stated that she and Barbour would have kids one day, but it might not be for a few years. She had written, “Sooo many of these questions! Yes!!! One day. Not for a few years probably.”

The reality TV personality then shared what gender baby she thinks she and her partner would have. She mentioned that she always thought she would be a girl mom, but lately, she has been fantasizing about the idea of being a mother to a boy.

The Bachelor in Paradise alum wrote, “Also, random, but I’ve always been like, no I’m for sure gonna be a girl mom, and lately I’ve been like ooooh a boy would actually be so fun and cute. I wouldn’t know what to do though.”

Godwin concluded the topic of getting pregnant and having babies there and answered questions about other topics, including how her sleep issues and insomnia were going — she revealed it’s better and that acupuncture is “literally life changing.”

The 29-year-old Birmingham native had also discussed having children during her February 2024 interview with US Weekly. At the time, she and Barbour were newlyweds, and Barbour stated that his wife had developed “a lot of baby fever and dog fever.”

Godwin explained her husband’s statement: “I need something because I’m treating him almost like my dog or my child sometimes. I need a cat, dog, or fish.” The couple then told the outlet they were not yet ready to have human babies.

“I mean, we think about it, and we talk about it a lot, but I think we’re taking a minute, enjoying marriage. Since our relationship was relatively quick and stuff like that, we’re still pretty young; we’re taking it easy,” she added.

Barbour joined his wife and stressed that both of them are currently focused on their respective careers. “I think we need a few more years to commit to [our] career[s] and then it’s time,” Godwin concluded the statement.

As mentioned earlier, Godwin and Barbour first met each other on Bachelor in Paradise season 6. After they got engaged in the season finale – which aired in September 2019 – they initially had a long-distance relationship between San Diego and Los Angeles.

In February 2020, they hosted a grand engagement party in Hollywood Hills, where close friends, family members, and fellow Bachelor alums like Peter Weber, Mike Johnson, Hannah Brown, Luke Stone, Heather Martin, and more were invited.

In October 2020, she announced via her Instagram handle that she and Barbour had bought a house together and settled in San Diego. Finally, after years-long engagement, they shared their wedding vows on August 23, 2023, at a destination wedding in Paris.
