Taylor Swift’s dating life has been making headlines ever since she broke up with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn.

First, she was rumored to be dating Fernando Alonso, and now, people are speculating that she was once the girlfriend of Luke Rockhold, the former UFC Middleweight Champion.

Was Taylor Swift Luke Rockhold’s girlfriend?

It is unknown if Swift was ever Rockhold’s girlfriend. Neither Swift nor Rockhold has ever mentioned the pair dating.

Regardless, fans can’t help but assume that they were once together. The speculations came after Rockhold attended Swift’s concert and posted a photo with the singer on his Instagram.

He uploaded a short snippet of Swift’s concert in August 2015. It was The 1989 World Tour —  her fourth concert tour launched in support of her album, 1989.

The UFC Champion wrote, “Me at a Taylor Swift concert, yep that happened.” Two days later, he posted a picture with her singer on Instagram.

The pair looked cozy as Rockhold had his arms around Swift’s waist while the single lay her hands on his shoulders. That being said, the picture and video of the concert are not evidence of the pair dating.

Regardless of the speculations, it is not sure if Swift was Rockhold’s girlfriend just on the basis of the latter’s Instagram posts. So, unless the parties involved confirm the rumors, everything is mere presumption.

Does Luke Rockhold have a girlfriend or wife?

As of 2023, the UFC athlete’s relationship status is unknown. He has never mentioned having a wife, so it is safe to assume he is not married.

He has not talked about dating his girlfriend as well. As a result, it seems like Rockhold is currently single.

On the other hand, it is possible that he has a girlfriend but has chosen to keep it out of the limelight. Regardless, unless Rockhold confirms his relationship status, nothing can be said for sure.

Rockhold has been linked to a couple of women in the past, the most famous being Demi Lovato. Unfortunately, it was short-lived.

It seemed like the two were serious about their relationship. Paparazzi often photographed them, and they even got matching smiling emoji tattoos on their fingers.

Unfortunately, the pair did not date for a long time and parted ways in late 2016. The reasons behind their break up are unknown, but TMZ reported that Lovato started dating Guilherme ‘Bomba’ Vasconcelos, the Brazilian welterweight fighter, soon after.

Years after their break up, Rockhold talked about the time when Lovato was his girlfriend. He told Athlete Voice in 2018, “I was in the gym and watched her train. She’s passionate. She’s talented. I took to that and we hung out a bit. Anytime you find someone like that – I appreciate passionate, driven women – it’s nice. And at the time, it was fun for me and she’s still a nice girl.”
