Mimi Ikonn is a Canadian entrepreneur who has established several successful businesses with her husband, Alex Ikonn, who is also an entrepreneur.
The duo are also angel investors and have invested in great companies like Brex, Calm, Curlsmith, Grove Collaborative, WeCommerce, and others.
They have made a significant amount of money while providing their clients with the satisfying products they promised, thanks to their combined hard work and devotion.
Mimi Ikonn and Alex Ikonn’s net worth revealed
The success of Mimi and Alex’s several businesses over the previous few years is reflected in their estimated net worth, which ranges from $1 million to $5 million.

The married couple developed into business partners when they initially started Luxy Hair with the intention of helping people who have suffered from hair growth issues to look and feel beautiful every day.
Because the two “just were not attached,” they decided to exit their multi-million-dollar company Luxy Hair. Afterward, in 2013, they launched Intelligent Change and Love Hair in 2018.
Mimi Ikonn and Alex Ikonn’s initial investment was $20,000 for Luxy Hair
The couple’s $20,000 personal line of credit investment in Luxy Hair evolved over the following eight years into a premium beauty lifestyle business. It currently has over 250,000 customers and is present in more than 165 countries.
Luxy Hair was their first start-up project which became one of the largest Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) beauty e-commerce brands online.
The majority of Luxy Hair’s growth came from social media, particularly its YouTube channel, which had more than 3 million subscribers and half a billion views.
Mimi and Alex successfully exited the company when Beauty Industry Group acquired it in late 2018. Mimi explained that they had to let go of the company since it simply did not fit their long-term goals.
“It was a big decision. A decision that we knew for many years we wanted to make eventually because we’re very honest with what excites us,” Mimi reasoned during an Interview with London Real.
The duo also asserted that they wanted to concentrate on other lucrative businesses they had started that were bringing in more clients and revenue.
Mimi Ikonn and Alex Ikonn’s present business
Mimi and Alex were eager to carry out their aim of providing value to the world after departing their first project.
They were overjoyed to devote more of their love and energy to their business, Intelligent Change, with the purpose of helping others realize their potential and live happier, more fulfilling life.
The pair used premium sustainable materials for their products, like The Five Minute Journal and the Productivity Planner.
The Five Minute Journal is the first journal and iOS/Android app to apply the principles of positive psychology. It has sold more than 1,700,000 copies worldwide.
Productivity Planner helps prioritize and accomplish the vital few tasks that satisfy your day, which has sold more than 300,000 copies.
Similarly, Mimi created Love Hair in 2018 when she couldn’t find haircare products that met her high standards.
It was founded with an emphasis on healthy, ethical ingredients that deliver on their promises and are packaged beautifully but sustainably.

Exclusive: Candid Conversation About NFTs, MusicFX, And a Parker McCollum Launch With Cameron Chell
In the digital industry, there are only a few like Cameron Chell, who is quick to learn and even quicker to implement learnings into a concrete plan.
I first spoke to him last month to discuss his NFT platform Vuele’s first feature film grossing nearly six figures. Afterward, he went on to launch Motoclub Digital, a premier space for car enthusiasts and fans of automotive memorabilia.
Meanwhile, Chell has been serving as the founder of Currency Works and CEO of Draganfly Innovations Inc. for some years.
Is he stopping? No, he is not.
He is now the co-head of MusicFX, the latest NFT platform from CurrencyWorks, and set to make history along with country singer-songwriter, Parker McCollum, with the release of the latter’s 2022 Fan Club NFT on the new NFT platform.
Parker is the singer-songwriter behind the platinum-selling single ‘Pretty Heart,’ and has just released his latest music video, ‘Falling Apart,’ from his acclaimed hit debut album Gold Chain Cowboy.
To talk further about his latest work with Parker and the vision behind launching MusicFX, I again had a candid conversation with Chell, and he had some great information to share.
Arun Katuwal: This is our second conversation in the last month. So, let’s start with a hello! How are you doing these days?
Cameron Chell: Hey Arun, great to speak with you again. Thank you so much for your interest in what we are doing. I am doing great. Super excited about what MusicFX is going to do in the NFT space.
AK: After successful NFT endeavors in the film industry, you seem to be eying the music industry. Can you tell us how your new music NFT platform MusicFX works?
CC: Expanding our interests within the entertainment world has always been very much part of our long-term strategy for how we grow the CurrencyWorks client base, and the music and film industries are very closely connected, so music NFTs are a natural progression for us.
AK: So when did you start MusicFX?
CC: Music has been on our radar when we first began plotting out our strategy of tapping into consumer markets with NFT products. We launched the MusicFX platform on December 7. MusicFX will set the stage for new innovations for artists and fan engagement.
The platform allows fans to become truly invested in their favorite bands and artists; while giving artists the ability to build a new type of relationship with their fans – one where they can feel completely connected. This groundbreaking approach has been made possible through a partnership created by CurrencyWorks Inc. and Crown & Ace Inc. (“Crown & Ace”) – two established leaders in their respective markets.
AK: Now, you, as the co-head of MusicFX and Executive Chairman of CurrencyWorks, are working closely with country singer/songwriter, Parker McCollum, for his 2022 Fan Club NFT. Tell us about this collaboration.
CC: I’m super excited to be working with Parker! He’s one of country music’s biggest rising stars, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t reach the heights of legends like Garth Brooks, or George Strait. His team has been awesome to work with, and Parker has had considerable input into how his NFTs look, and most importantly the content within them.
Partnering with Parker is a massive endorsement of how we are trying to revolutionize the music industry. The NFTs offered on MusicFX allow artists to build an entirely new type of relationship with their fans – one where they can feel completely connected.
AK: What to expect from MusicFX and Parker McCollum’s collaboration?
CC: That’s a great question, but I don’t want to spoil things for Parker’s fans. Parker is driving the vision for his NFT fan club. He loves his fans and wants to create something that would enable them to get closer to him and his music. Parker often says, without his fans he would not be where he is today. MusicFX is really going to allow him and his fans to support one another as he continues this incredible journey.
AK: Cut to the chase – How is MusicFX looking to provide music fans and collectors with the ultimate consumer-focused NFT collectible experience?
CC: MusicFX will be delivering far more than a collectible experience, and this is key to what we offer and our message to artists and fans alike. MusicFX is about creating engagement, building on the bonds of the artist/fan relationship, and taking it to a new level. With Parker’s NFT, the Gold Chain Cowboy Club Black Card, you’re picking up a 12-month membership to an exclusive community that rewards your support with truly ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.
At MusicFX the NFT is a mechanism we use to deliver these experiences and build relationships… some people may treat these as collectibles, but MusicFX is about much more than that.
AK: Any special offer for people looking to register at MusicFX?
CC: As part of the partnership with Parker, the first 1,000 fans that register their interest in the Gold Chain Cowboy Club will receive priority access to the Black Card NFT, which will be presented as a signed edition. Everyone who purchases membership will be entered into Parker’s Golden Ticket Sweepstakes, where Parker has personally chosen some very special prizes to reward his fans. Fans can find more info here.
AK: Also, what do you think – how can a platform like yours bring a positive change in the music industry?
CC: Simple. Community. We’re building a community around each artist, bringing engagement that you cannot get through social media alone. The artist gets the support they need to get closer to their fan base, and in return, the fans receive an experience that further cement that supports.
It would be very easy to follow the path laid by others, but it’s quite disingenuous to many fans as NFT collectors, who have no vested interest in the musician, who are buying those NFTs, either treating them as an investment or trying to flip them to make a quick buck out of the genuine fans. MusicFX is for the fans and the artist, who has control over how to reward that relationship.
AK: Is it also hard to set up a big platform like MusicFX during these testing times?
CC: Our focus has always been on the customer and the value our team brings to the project. We are lucky to have a passionate, dedicated team. Our team has always worked remotely, and while it is always good to be able to meet clients face-to-face, we have been able to work with our team and customers remotely.
AK: Last one – predict how big NFT platforms are going to be in the next five years?
CC: At the start of the year the market was worth a few hundred million. Going into 2022 we’re looking at billions of dollars; and it’s the consumer side that’s really expanding. Understanding of this digital technology is growing so rapidly that it won’t be the sole domain of fintech investors, everyone is going to want a piece of the action.

Fans and industry influencers alike will soon be able to own a piece of hip-hop, rap, and street history through the new NFT collector platform Flash Mints.
Curated and built through blockchain technology by visual artist Enrico Moses and his team, Flash Mints will allow collectors to own a piece of history featuring cultural icons including Snoop Dogg, Nas, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., the Wu-Tang Clan, and Public Enemy.
Initially featuring selections from notable hip-hop and street photographers including Chi Modu, Ricky Powell, T. Eric Monroe, and Jamil GS, Enrico Moses, and his team envisions Flash Mints as the premiere platform for photographers to fully monetize their work.
“Our goal is to help them enter and thrive in the NFT space by making it easy to connect with collectors from all over the world,” Moses exclusively tells GLAMOUR BUFF.
“Flash Mints is made for photographers, with the goal of helping them monetize on their own terms while protecting the value of their art for themselves and their collectors”
Flash Mints is designed to give power back to photographers, all while making collecting visual art more accessible to people everywhere, regardless of the size of their physical space or geographical location. Each of the first five collection drops will feature 2021 NFTs with various edition/rarity sizes, with more collaborations and drops planned in the future.
The project’s inception first began when Moses introduced his late friend Chi Modu to the NFT space and helped him mint his first NFT.
Moses, an entrepreneur, tech startup founder, and graphic designer, previously launched a menswear boutique at the age of 23, where he started his friendship with Chi Modu while traveling out to NYC. Upon seeing the potential with Chi, he quickly dove into the space, eventually landing on the Flash Mints concept and design.
Joining Moses on this project is Allen Hena, the mastermind behind the successful launch of The Hundred’s first NFT collection, The Adam Bomb Squad, which sold out of 25,000 NFTs in 40 minutes.
Henna, who is also a part of the Hashmasks and Vaynermedia’s NFT team, is an experienced software engineer and architect, focused on developing strategies, leadership, and education in the rapidly changing cryptocurrency and Web3 sectors.
Also a part of Flash Mints’ launch team is the team at NFT Media Box, led by Kelvin Troy, who previously spearheaded the sold-out Monster Rehab and the Arabian Camels collection.
“When you see these images, you’re brought back to a time of nostalgia,” Moses says. “You think back to where you were, who you were around, what you were doing. Photographs help us remember moments in our lives, including what we love, how we felt, and who we admired.”
“I am thrilled that our team is empowering artists through a full service technology solution, while also enabling collectors to have a more accessible way to obtain a piece of nostalgic history through Flash Mints’ unique platform.”
Flash Mints’ first drop is Jamil GS’s Genesis Collection, and the full drop schedule can be found below. Fans and interested community members can keep up to date via the Flash Mints website or via social media on Instagram and Twitter.
The team also encourages people to join the discord community to learn more about the releases, community events and also to provide feedback to photographers they would like to see next on the platform.

Exclusive: Astrology Reader and Spiritual Entrepreneur Ashlee Richardson Talks Helping Others Find Clarity and Tap Into Their Passion
Credit: Ashlee Richardson
After dealing with a pandemic for nearly two years, many people around the world have made career changes — and that includes astrology reader and spiritual entrepreneur, Ashlee Richardson.
She is the owner of Not So Pr3tty, a digital virtual astrology reading company that offers astrology readings as well as love readings, tarot card readings, and life coaching sessions.
Whether you are facing hard times in life or unsure about your life’s purpose, speaking with an astrology tarot card reader like Richardson can be helpful in helping you get in touch with your spiritual side.
When your inner world seems to be out of your control and you need someone to listen to you and offer clarity or insight, an astrology and tarot reader or spirituality clairvoyance can provide great comfort and guidance.
GLAMOUR BUFF recently sat down with Richardson to discuss her new spiritual business and how she is helping find their passion and purpose in the process.
GB: How did you get into astrology?
AR: Before accepting my fate as someone with psychic abilities, I previously worked at a courthouse. I studied psychology in my undergraduate studies and always have been a god-fearing woman. It wasn’t until the pandemic hit where I started giving people readings and it kind of flourished organically from there. I started my own business, Not So Pr3tty, got a brand and website together, and grew my social media following organically. It all happened naturally over the past two years.
Credit: Ashlee Richardson
GB: How is your work in astrology satisfying?
AR: This work has become satisfying because I know that I am ultimately helping people tap into their full mental capacity and unlock the lives they truly desire while finding balance and happiness. I help people find clarity, balance, and understand themselves a little better. It makes me happy to bring any kind of positivity and clarity to a person’s life.
GB: What makes your company, Not So Pr3tty, stand out?
AR: It’s unique that I can provide people clarity and insight about people’s lives without knowing them — I feel blessed that God gifted me with this ability and it has always been my goal to use it for good to help others.
Being able to do tarot card readings and life coaching is quite fulfilling. I often talk to people about their zodiac sign and how it impacts their life and how they can become their best selves.
It’s always my goal to do good in the world and provide the best spiritual guidance possible — that’s what makes my astrology and coaching company unique. It’s rare for people to have this sixth sense ability and that is why I think it is so important to use it properly to help people understand themselves, their passions, and their ultimate life purpose.

GB: What are 3 tips you would offer other digital entrepreneurs?
- Have faith in yourself and your ability to succeed in your field.
- Push out and ignore negativity and outside opinions – even if you don’t have support from others. Trust yourself and your gut/instincts.
- Work hard and have patience.
