Hallmark’s most anticipated movie of 2022, A Holiday Spectacular, was released on November 27, 2022. American actress and singer Ginna Claire Mason stars alongside Derek Klena and Ann-Margret in the movie. 

People are excited to see Mason on the screen. She is well-known for her roles in theatrical productions, television shows, and motion pictures. 


She gained notoriety for playing Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked. Mason played the lead role in A Holiday Spectacular, where she portrayed Maggie in the drama.

The movie revolves around Maggie, a Philadelphia heiress, who postpones her high society wedding in 1958. She did so to sneak into New York City and fulfill a secret ambition: performing live on stage in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. 


Maggie is leading a different life than she has ever known, even though her family believes she is staying in New York City with an “approved” boarding schoolmate. They don’t know that she has a love affair with the city of New York and the Rockettes. 

Maggie immediately feels torn between two worlds, which is made much more difficult by her unexpected meeting with John, a young U.S. Navy photographer. Now, the question is —  Will Maggie have the guts to express her desires to her family, or will she accept the future predetermined for her?

Mason was excited about the movie’s release, and she took to Instagram to share her excitement. On November 25, 2022, she uploaded a slew of pictures of the snippets of the movie on Instagram. 


In the caption, she noted that only two days remained before the movie’s release. She wrote, “Please wear Christmas pajamas and share below your favorite watch party snack,” and ended her caption with hashtags #AHolidaySpectacular and #CountdowntoChristmas.

The comment section of the post was full of admiration for the actress. Some people commented that  A Holiday Spectacular was one of the best Christmas movies, and they adored it.

Ginna Claire Mason’s career

Mason was a theatrical actress when she first began performing. She played a variety of parts in plays while she was a student at Elon University. 


She portrayed Polly Baker in the play Crazy For You. She performed as Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, the Angel of Aquarius in Hair, a storyteller in Children of Eden, and the Ensemble in 110 in the Shade.

She also served as the assistant director at A Grand Night for Singing. Recently, Mason’s multi-year Broadway stint as Glinda in Wicked came to an end. 

In addition, Mason portrayed Katherine in Newsies and Korie in Duck Commander: The Musical. She performed in regional theater productions of Hairspray, Once On This Island, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, Godspell, and Oklahoma!


She also featured as a soloist in Broadway Gold Cabaret. Since 2022, Mason has also had a leading role in the MaxFocus television series Preach, and she portrayed Rebecca in the drama.

They did, however, meet whenever they could. On June 29, 2013, Mason married Moffett after dating for three years. 

When they married, Moffett was 26, and Mason was 23. As of 2022, the pair have been together for almost a decade.

In December 2020, the actress revealed to her spouse that she was pregnant. Then, in February 2021, she announced her pregnancy to the world by posting pictures of her baby bulge alongside Moffett and her family.


In 2021, the pair welcomed their son William. William was born on April 20th, 2021.

Who is Eric Moffett?

Moffett is a pilot who has been with American Flyers since 2019. He worked as an air traffic controller for the Federal Aviation Administration for six years before becoming a flying instructor. 


From 2012 until 2014, he worked at Greater Binghampton Airport in New York. From 2017 to 2018, he worked at Westchester County Airport in New York.

He had fascinating job experience as a traffic controller, but he wanted to get more involved with aviation’s piloting side. He resigned from his job as an air traffic controller and began full-time flying training. 

He joined American Flyers in April 2019 after completing his training. And since then, he has been working as a pilot.


Besides that, Moffett received his Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science and Technology from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2011. He was a sophomore at North Carolina’s Elon University.

Moffett also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degree from Cedarville University.

Many actresses have been photographed smoking and enjoying taking a drag. Most recently, Jenna Ortega was videographed puffing away.

Since the video of Jenna Ortega smoking went viral, netizens had mixed reactions to it. Some were outraged by the action; some were happy that the actress was doing what she enjoyed, and some were nonchalant about it. 


However, the one person who did not like Jenna’s behavior was her mother, Natalie Ortega. Natalie took to Instagram to post a dozen IG stories to show her disapproval of her daughter having a smoke. 

She was passive-aggressive with her IG stories, which netizens have found funny. Here is all we know about it.

On May 30, 2023, Jenna’s mother highlighted the dangers of smoking on her IG stories. She uploaded 13 stories which started with a meme showing Gollum from The Lord Of The Rings.


The caption read, “Don’t believe those lies about cigarettes being bad for you. I’ve been smoking for most [of] my 21 years and I feel great!”

The second story was about how smoke causes lung cancer. Natalie shared a screenshot of information on lung cancer, which showed how cigarettes could damage the lungs of smokers.

Natalie hit another jab at the Wednesday actress with information about smoking not helping a person relax. It was about addiction to smoking which leads to the illusion of helping someone relax, but in reality, it has the opposite effect.


In another IG story, Jenna’s mother made people aware of the cigarette stench, which is unpleasant for non-smokers. Similarly, she noted that smoking damages teeth and gums and leads to bad breath and other oral hygiene problems.

Natalie pointed out smoking also led to cataracts, brittle bones, and oral cancer. Moreover, she posted a screenshot warning her fans and followers of cigarette smoke.

Cigarette smoke had more than 4500 toxic chemicals, which led to oxidative stress associated with neurological disorders. Similarly, she noted how smokers had thinner cerebral cortexes and destroyed the grey matter in brains.


Moreover, Natalie posted a story about how smoking is repulsive and not cool. Then, she uploaded a quote from Toan Lam —  “NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE AND HOW BIG YOU GET, ALWAYS SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH.”

Ultimately, she posted a picture about being a mother and worrying about her kids. It read, “A mother is always a mother. She never stops worrying about her children, even when they are all grown up and have children of their own.”

Many fans and followers appreciated Natalie posting about smoking and its adverse effects like bad oral hygiene and cancer. They noted how Jenna’s fanbase was quite young to be influenced by the actor negatively.


A Redditor wrote, “I kinda feel like in this specific situation it’s okay because Jenna definitely has a young fan base that she might want to direct this towards too. plus she’s only including scientific info, nothing related to Jenna specifically. still a very out-of-touch mom post lol.”

Most netizens found the situation funny and guessed that Natalie found out about Jenna smoking after the video went viral. To show that she was mad at her daughter, netizens speculated that she took a passive-aggressive route and uploaded the harmful effects of smoking cigarettes on her Instagram.
