As per several reports, regular cast members of the show were reportedly earning a minimum of $90,000 per episode, resulting in an annual salary of approximately $1.44 million.

However, his financial achievements are not solely attributed to his involvement in The Walking Dead universe. He has also demonstrated his talents as a screenwriter and playwright.

He wrote and starred in the autobiographical TV film Storm Damage in 2000, which received a British Academy Television Award nomination for Best Drama Series.

Moreover, he created and starred in the Sky Atlantic drama series Save Me, which garnered critical acclaim. The show’s second season, titled Save Me Too, even received the prestigious BAFTA TV Award for Best Drama Series in 2021.

After experiencing a challenging childhood, including the loss of his mother at a young age, James found solace in writing plays and eventually gained recognition for his work. He attended the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he honed his acting skills and graduated in 1988.

James made his film debut in 1995 with the short film Fathers, Sons, and Unholy Ghosts, and went on to appear in notable films such as Les Misérables, Snatch, 24 Hour Party People, Sahara, and many more.

He continued to make an impact with his roles in the BBC terrorism drama The State Within, the BBC spy drama Spooks, and the CBS post-apocalyptic drama series Jericho

However, his portrayal of Morgan in the AMC series The Walking Dead in 2010 truly brought James widespread recognition.

He returned to the show intermittently, making notable appearances in the third season and the fifth-season finale. He eventually became a main cast member from the show’s sixth season until the eighth season.

In addition to his work in film and television, James ventured into the realm of video games. He lent his voice to the character Lord Shaxx in the famous video game franchises Destiny and Destiny 2.

Is Lennie James leaving ‘Fear The Walking Dead’?

Yes, James has indeed left Fear the Walking Dead. James, who originally portrayed the character of Morgan in the pilot episode of The Walking Dead back in 2010, bid farewell to the spinoff show, Fear the Walking Dead, in the midseason finale of its final season.

The confirmation of the actor’s exit came from showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg during the aftershow titled Fear the Walking Dead: Episode Insider.

Reflecting on James’ departure, Chambliss expressed, “We knew it [Lennie’s exit] was coming this season, and as we wrote it, we knew it was happening.”

Chambliss also explained that Jame’s presence had become an integral part of Fear the Walking Dead, making it challenging to envision the series without his character.

Despite this, Chambliss revealed that there was always a glimmer of hope, at least in his heart, that they might have the opportunity to see his return in the future.

Moreover, according to the Comicbook, the 57-year-old actor confirmed that Morgan’s departure took place in the episode titled ‘All I See Is Red.’

When asked if fans could expect to see Morgan in the final six episodes of Fear the Walking Dead, James responded, “You will not.”

Regarding the reasons behind his midseason exit, James explained, “I think it’s just the way the story panned out for the final season.”

He also stressed that the departure of his character in the midseason finale allowed the show to adhere to its planned trajectory and maintain a consistent storytelling approach.

Sam Rockwell Is the Only Child of His Parents — About His Family

Sam Rockwell Is the Only Child of His Parents — About His Family

Sam Rockwell is an American actor who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for playing a cop in Martin McDonagh’s murder thriller Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017), and he was nominated again the following year for playing George W. Bush in Adam McKay’s political comedy Vice (2018).

Sam had an interest in acting from a young age because of his family’s involvement in the entertainment industry. It is reported that his parents, Pete Rockwell and Penny Hess, were also actors.

Here is all we know about Sam, his parents, and his career in the entertainment industry.

Sam Rockwell and his parents

Sam was born on November 5, 1968, in Daly City, California. He does not have any siblings — he is the only child of his parents.

The family moved to New York when he was two years old, living first in the Bronx and later in Manhattan. His parents divorced when he was just five years old.

Regardless, he was raised by both his parents as a family. According to IMDb, he mostly grew up with his father in San Francisco while he spent the summers with his mother in New York.

Sam, not having any siblings and being an only child, was “used to living in his head,” according to The Guardian.

“It’s weird, I don’t get children, I don’t quite understand it. I think being an only child means you learn to live in your own world. It’s a survival thing. I space out quite a lot. People are, like: ‘Where are you, why do you do that?’,” Sam revealed when talking about growing up without siblings and not wanting to have any children.

His childhood was odd and it did not help that his parents were divorced. While talking about how his parents’s roles got reversed in the family by his father mostly raising him, Sam said, “It just worked out that way. My father was more up to the task. That was it. Visiting my mum in the summer – well, that was always a bit jarring.”

It is reported that Sam got his footing in the entertainment industry because of his mother. At the age of ten, he appeared briefly on stage as Humphrey Bogart in an East Village improv comedy routine alongside his mother.

In his family, his mother was a struggling actress. So, to forward her career she also performed singing telegrams. Currently, she works as a painter.

Talking about his mother’s career, Sam told The Guardian, “My mum is a painter now. She quit acting. She paints like a modern Toulouse-Lautrec mixed with Salvador Dali – very out there.”

His father, on the other hand, is quite successful. He is best known for Changeling (2008), Frost/Nixon (2008), and The Club of Unique and Lonely Minds (2015).

He later gave up acting and started working as a graphic designer.

Pete told how proud of a father he was to his son when he left a review on Sam’s movie in a New York Times review. “I loved this movie, and intend to see it again,” he wrote. “My son, Sam, won a Golden Globe for playing Jason Dixon. I think I would still love the movie if another actor had played Dixon…But not quite as much.”

Talking about his family and parents, Sam revealed that he was more like his father. “But I am more similar to my dad. My dad is very supportive; he loves everything I do. When I play the dad in Joshua who is always trying to do the right thing, it’s dedicated to my dad,” he admitted.

All in all, it looks like Sam is very close to his family and his parents.

Sam Rockwell’s career

Sam started high school at the San Francisco School of the Arts, where he met notable peers like Margaret Cho and Aisha Tyler, before graduating from Urban Pioneers, an alternative educational institution that offered an Outward Bound-style approach to learning.

His introduction to the world of acting came at the incredibly early age of 10 when he shared the screen alongside his mother in what would be the first of many appearances.

This early exposure sparked a desire that drove him to hone his craft at the legendary William Esper Studios in New York, where he was mentored by renowned instructor William Esper.

His rise in the entertainment business began with small roles in indie films such as Clownhouse and The Search for One-Eyed Jimmy, which lay the framework for a successful career. Despite being from San Francisco, he found his artistic footing in the busy city of New York, perfecting his craft while navigating the industry’s complexity.

Early accomplishments included cameo appearances on television shows like The Equalizer, NYPD Blue, and Law & Order, as well as minor roles in movies like Last Exit to Brooklyn and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

However, his performance in Tom DiCillo’s Box of Moonlight was a watershed event in his professional trajectory. His depiction as a quirky man-child living in solitude received critical praise, opening the door for more significant parts in the coming years.

This sudden attention culminated in his award-winning performance in Lawn Dogs, in which he played a working-class lawn mower who builds an unexpected friendship with a rich 10-year-old girl living in an upper-class gated neighborhood.

Subsequent parts demonstrated his flexibility as an actor, ranging from the psychotic prisoner William “Wild Bill” Wharton in The Green Mile to the fumbling actor in the science fiction satire Galaxy Quest. He expanded his repertoire by handling Shakespearean adaptations like A Midsummer Night’s Dream and taking on the character of jovial villain Eric Knox in Charlie’s Angels.

However, his role as The Gong Show host Chuck Barris in George Clooney’s directorial debut, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, cemented his stature as a starring man in Hollywood. This highly lauded performance not only demonstrated his acting abilities but also won him broad exposure and appreciation in the profession.

Despite his success in mainstream movies, he has also pursued independent projects and partnerships with comedic troupes like Stella, solidifying his image as a versatile and dynamic actor. Notable recent performances include his Academy Award-winning performance as racist, bullying police officer Jason Dixon in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and his depiction of Bob Fosse in the critically praised miniseries Fosse/Verdon.

Away from the spotlight, he has a significant presence in theater, most notably as a member of the prestigious LAByrinth Theater Company. His return to Broadway in 2022 for a production of David Mamet’s American Buffalo got him a Tony Award nomination, demonstrating his ongoing significance and flexibility across different artistic disciplines.

‘True Blood’ Star Joe Manganiello Doesn’t Have Many Siblings except a Brother

Joe Manganiello has gained fame thanks to his invaluable contribution to the entertainment industry as an actor, director, and producer. But many might not know that the American actor has a family member who is also involved in the same industry.

The family member we are talking about is the True Blood star’s only sibling, his brother, Nicholas Manganiello, aka Nick Manganiello. The Manganiello siblings are very close to each other and have even worked together on one project.

Speaking a little of Nick, he is a married man. He has been married to his longtime wife, Lana Manganiello. The now-married couple first met in a bar in 2008; it was love at first sight for Nick. They eventually began dating and shared the wedding vows in October 2012.

Nick and his wife have welcomed two children in their decade-long marital relationship. One of their kids is a daughter named Gia, whereas the details of his other child remain unknown. But some of his tweets hint his other child is a son.

The lack of information is due to Nick living a private life outside the limelight. He is currently available on two social media platforms – Twitter and Instagram. However, his Instagram handle is private, and he rarely shares details about his personal life on Twitter.

As for Nick’s professional career, his LinkedIn profile mentions that he has been serving as a co-founder of 3:59 Inc. since October 2012. He has listed that he oversees the “production of TV, film, new media, video games and print.”

Additionally, he does “corporate consulting in the entertainment space at the same company.” The Penn State University graduate first began working as an Administrative Coordinator at the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.

He worked there from October 2004 to January 2007. After that, in January 2007, he served as a consultor for William Morris Agency. He left the workplace in September 2008, after which he immediately joined CBS Entertainment.

In July 2010, he left his position at CBS Entertainment to join Intrepid Pictures, where he had a position at the Film Production & Finance department. He worked there for a little over two years and left in September 2012.

Most of the companies that Nick has worked in are involved in the entertainment industry. As for his direct involvement in the same field, he has multiple credits on his IMDb profile. In 2014, he produced La Bare, a documentary, with his brother Joe.

Similarly, he has produced other movies, including Bottom of the 9th in 2019, Archenemy in 2020, and Shoplifters of the World in 2021. He is also involved as a producer in the upcoming Untitled Dungeons & Dragons Documentary, which is currently in pre-production.

Furthermore, Nick has served as an assistant in the 2012 movie Safe House and as a coordinator for Intrepid Pictures, his former employer, in three movies: The Raven, The Cold Light of Day, and Crush.

The Manganiello siblings have a good relationship

As mentioned earlier, the Manganiello siblings have a good relationship with each other. In the past, they have been seen going on holidays, celebrating family events, and sharing family pictures on their respective social media handles.

Nick once used to reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – his and Joe’s birthplace – but upon Joe’s advice, he decided to settle down in Los Angeles. Joe’s advice to move to Los Angeles might be because the California city is a hub for industry people.

Speaking a little of the Manganiello siblings, Joe – born on December 28, 1976 – is the elder brother. So, Nick is the younger Manganiello sibling. On the other hand, Nick’s age currently remains unknown; however, one of his tweets revealed he celebrates his birthday on June 22.

The Manganiello siblings went to different educational institutes for their further studies. Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Carnegie Mellon University, and Nick graduated from Penn State University with a Business degree.

However, both brothers ended up working in the same industry. As of this writing, the Manganiello siblings have worked together on one project: La Bare, a 2014 documentary examining the lives of male dancers of Dallas’ famous male strip club.

Before the documentary’s release, the brothers sat down for an interview with The Wrap’s guest correspondent, Jake Whetter. Joe mentioned that he got the idea for the documentary while researching his role as a male stripper in the 2012 movie Magic Mike.

The actor stated that one of his friends was a male stripper at La Bare during the 1990s. That same friend told Joe many stories, including some about legendary performer Randy Ricks, nicknamed Master Blaster, whose story became the backbone of La Bare.

Joe said, “We get to tell the history of male entertainment, which started in the late ’70s at La Bare, through Randy’s journey.” He added that the documentary contains other crazy characters, including Ricks’s mother, Mary Lou.

As of 2024, the Manganiello siblings are once again collaborating on a new documentary: Untitled Dungeons & Dragons Documentary. Joe is set to co-direct and co-produce the documentary, in which his younger brother is also one of the producers.
