For Devon Sawa, the horror subgenre is nothing new. He became a household name because of his portrayal of Alex Browning in the original Final Destination movie.

In 2021, Sawa became yet another part of the horror franchise Child’s Play as twin brothers in the latest Chucky series, which serves as a sequel to Cult of Chucky.

The series’ story starts with a vintage Chucky doll showing up at a suburban yard sale four years after Cult of Chucky.

The series was released on October 12, 2021, and generally received positive reviews from critics. In November 2021, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on October 5, 2022.

Sawa portrayed the role of twins Lucas and Logan Wheeler in season one of Chucky. Lucas is the dad of a 14-year-old middle school student Jake Wheeler, played by Zackary Arthur.

In the show, Jake bought an antique Good Guy doll from a yard sale with plans to disassemble it and use the pieces in his own doll-based contemporary art project.

Lucas, who previously disapproved of this, eventually lost his cool when Junior, Jake’s cousin, made a sarcastic remark about Jake spending too much time “playing with dolls” and jokingly referred to Jake as gay over a family dinner.

Latently homophobic, Lucas used a baseball bat to break the doll sculpture Jake was making and barred him from bringing any more dolls into the house.

The tumultuous relationship between Jake and his father was partly inspired by Chucky‘s creator, Don Mancini’s relationship with his father.

Sawa said, “[Mancini] gets to tell a little more of his story in Chucky. As an openly gay man, he gets to tell an authentic story of some pretty heavy issues,” to Nine.

He continued it was difficult because he was portraying Mancini’s father, and Zack was portraying Mancini.

“We tried to be as respectful of that on set as possible. It was challenging to step into the shoes of someone as mean as Lucas is,” he remarked.

The Casper actor supports LGBT rights. Regarding the LGBTQ community, he is frequently involved and vocal about his views on the subject.

On May 31, 2022, he tweeted, “I will not only say “gay,” I will continue to support “gay” with all my heart and soul.”

Devon Sawa is married to Canadian producer Dawni Sahanovitch

Sawa married Dawni Sahanovitch, a Canadian producer, in 2013. After a year, the couple welcomed Hudson into the world in 2014. They later welcomed Scarlett in 2016.

Despite being together for a considerable amount of time—nearly 20 years—their love for one another is becoming stronger every day.

Not much is known about the relationship between Sawa and Sahanovitch. Unfortunately, they don’t talk much about their relationships. Thus the main source of information is the couple’s Instagram account.

It’s probable that the entertainment industry helped the couple connect. Sahanovitch worked behind the cameras, while Sawa worked as an actor.

In a May 2015 Instagram post, Sahanovitch stated that she had been with the actor for twelve years, suggesting that the couple first began dating in the early 2000s, perhaps around 2003.

McNally joined the cast of Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart in 2018. He played Lucas Bouchard, a charming gambler and saloon owner, who is hiding more than a card up his sleeve.

Mila Kunis On Being Photographed Without Makeup

Mila Kunis was born on August 14, 1983, to a Jewish family in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. In 1991, her family moved to Los Angeles, California.

Kunis performed in Make a Wish, Molly as Melinda, which was her first gig. Her career then took off into big-budget movies.

She may be best known for her role as Jackie Burkhart on That ’70s Show in 1998, but she has proven to the world that she is capable of much more. She has performed the voice of Meg Griffin, the self-conscious daughter, in the animated sitcom Family Guy since 1999.

In Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), which was her breakthrough film, she portrayed the free-spirited Rachel Jansen.

Since then, she has appeared in or co-starred in the movies Max Payne, The Book of Eli, Black Swan, Friends with Benefits, Ted, and Oz the Great and Powerful.

Kunis has received accolades for her humorous charm and distinctive speaking voice over the years in well-liked television shows and videos. She has demonstrated a variety of looks while portraying an array of characters.

Additionally, several of her previous appearances have included amazing makeup creations, even if she tended to keep things casual in the beauty department for the romantic comedy Friends with Benefits and the sitcom That ’70s Show.

Mila Kunis without makeup

Kunis has been photographed without makeup on numerous occasions. She appeared without makeup after receiving massage therapy in Studio City, California, in December 2012, according to E! News.

However, Kunis noted that this wasn’t a particularly novel experience for her. “I don’t wear makeup. I don’t wash my hair every day. It’s not something that I associate with myself.”

But according to her, there’s no shame in opting for a full face. She continued, “I commend women who wake up 30 to 40 minutes early to put on eyeliner. I think it’s beautiful. I’m just not that person.”

Kunis revealed one reason she doesn’t apply makeup daily. She admitted to Harper’s Bazaar in 2014, “I think because I have to do it every day for work, when I don’t work, I get out of the shower, and I don’t do anything to it.” And Kunis doesn’t want her pictures dramatically photoshopped, either.

She told Glamour, “I hate it. There was a company that I did a photo shoot for once that manipulated the photo so much that I was like, ‘That’s not even me.’ Like, what’s the point?” However, Kunis is open to a little finessing on camera. She explained, “Now, do I sometimes want them to depuff my eyes? Help me out with a little bit of lighting.”

Mila Kunis looked flawless with a “no makeup” look.

It takes a certain degree of inner courage to walk onto the red carpet in front of bright camera lights and much harsher public scrutiny. It takes much more effort to do it without much makeup, yet Mila Kunis routinely pulls it off.

She even appeared on the cover of Glamour in 2016 without much, if any, makeup on.

Although some backlash for the actor’s “no makeup” look is unavoidable, it’s actually lovely to see the celebrity flaunting her natural self and being cool with it.
