Quavo is back in the dating game and allegedly has a new girlfriend.

Quavo is an American rapper from Georgia. He is best known as the former frontman of the hip-hop trio Migos, which he formed in 2008 alongside his nephews Takeoff and Offset.

Outside of Migos, Quavo has appeared on several Billboard Hot 100 top ten hits, including Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations,’ and DJ Khaled‘s ‘No Brainer’ and ‘I’m the One.’ Quavo Huncho, his debut solo album, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 in 2018.

Since his debut, Quavo has been linked with a lot of women. However, since his break up with Saweetie in 2021, he did not have a girlfriend as such.

But recently, it is rumored that he is dating his new girlfriend, Erica Fontaine. Here is all we know about the duo.

The rumors of Fontaine being Quavo’s new girlfriend started after the two were spotted together at Usher’s concert. In July 2023, they attended the concert at Dolby Live at Park MGM, Las Vegas.

Usher has a habit of serenading his audience during his residency and concerts and he did the same at Las Vegas. He went up to Quavo and said, “Now Quavo, I hope you don’t mind if I serenade your lady real quick, you know what I’m saying?”

Quavo agreed and Usher then performed a sensual performance of his 2010 song ‘There Goes My Baby’ in front of Fontaine, who could be seen shaking her hips before turning to Quavo and giggling. 

The singer even let her duet with him while holding his microphone in front of her lips. To the surprise of the audience, Fontaine complied by displaying her singing voice and concluding a line from the song.

Since then, it has been rumored that Fontaine is Quavo’s girlfriend. However, both of them have remained mum about their dating history.

The two of them may be in a relationship but have decided to keep it private and out of the public’s eyes. However, unless Quavo or his partner decides to speak up, it is mere speculation. 

Erica Fontaine’s short bio

Fontaine is a former West Virginia University (WVU) gymnast with a thriving business called Fontaine Fit.

Her path to success began on the gymnastics floor at West Virginia University, where she studied Strategic Communications with a specialty in Advertising. Despite missing her freshman year due to an injury, she went on to become a star in her own right the next year. 

She earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2020 and was a regular on the Dean’s List. Her athletic achievements gained worldwide recognition, and she amassed a sizable social media following thanks to her attractive appearance. 

Fontaine earned the balancing beam and all-around titles at the Region 7 Championships in 2016, according to WVU Sports. She also became a three-year level 10 gymnast at Hill’s Gymnastics, which was a watershed event in her gymnastics career. 

Despite being a talented athlete, she also proved to be an astute businesswoman. As of December 2023, her Instagram feed had 709K followers, where she promotes her business.

She has landed a slew of commercial partnerships once the NCAA changed its regulations to enable players to earn money from brand sponsorships. As a result, Fontaine has risen to extraordinary heights as a social media influencer. 

She recently developed her brand, Fontaine Fit, a fitness and lifestyle brand that connects with fitness fans globally, in addition to the brand deals. Her company includes online training programs and gear, as well as encouraging posts on her own Instagram profile. 

While her reported connection with Quavo made news, she also drew the attention of a few other celebs due to her stunning appearance and abilities. The renowned athlete has previously been romantically connected to Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard; however, details of these rumored relationships are not known.

Quavo’s dating history

In 2017, Quavo briefly dated actress and model Karrueche Tran. Despite being seen together in public several times throughout the spring of that year, neither verified the status of their reported relationship.

During an interview on the Allegedly with Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss podcast in October 2017, Tran denied the couple’s relationship.

“No, we’re cool friends, we hung out, but it was nothing serious,” she added of the rapper. Quavo and Tran were believed to be dating again in January 2022 after being photographed on vacation together in Saint Martin at the start of the new year.

The two were spotted wandering amid their vacation, taking in the magnificent mountain views together. When the photographs began to circulate on Twitter, admirers became concerned that they had renewed their love.

The couple reignited dating suspicions in March when they were seen out on a dinner date at The Nice Guy Italian restaurant in West Hollywood.

In March 2023, Tran shut down all dating rumors and confirmed that she was not his girlfriend and the two were not together.

Quavo began dating Saweetie in September 2018 —  his most public relationship so far. After dating for over two years, on March 19, 2021, Saweetie confirmed via social media that she and Quavo are no longer in a relationship.
