Michele Morrone is a talented Italian actor and singer who gained international recognition after portraying the lead role of Massimo Torricelli in the 2020 erotic thriller 365 Days and its two sequels, 365 Days: This Day and The Next 365 Days — both released in 2022.

Since the film that provided him with fame was all about romance, netizens were quick to wonder if anything was going on in his real-life personal life. The Netflix films also led to questions about his sexuality and gay rumors.

In the third installment of the film series, The Next 365 Days, viewers witnessed Morrone’s Massimo share an intimate scene with actor Simone Susinna’s character, Marcello ‘Nacho’ Matos, in which the two characters kiss after sharing the bed.

As a result of this scene, including some misleading Instagram posts from the two co-stars, people began to search “Is Michele Morrone gay?” on Google. So, is Michele Morrone gay? The answer is a direct no, as there is no truth to any of the gay rumors.

Morrone himself debunked the gay rumors via his Instagram handle. On his Instagram story, he wrote, “This morning, I woke up with my team calling me and saying, ‘Hey, there’s a lot of articles…saying that you came out,’ because of the picture I took with Simone.”

“He became a very good friend of mine, we’re like brothers. We’re shooting a movie together. Guys, it was just a picture. Nothing more. And by the way, I’m a very big supporter of the LGBT community. But we’re just talking about a normal picture. I didn’t come out.”

“As I said, I’m a big supporter of the LGBT community. There’s a lot of young guys and young girls…they would love to come out but they don’t do it because of their families. You know, happiness is priceless, guys. Peace and love, I love you so much,” he concluded.

Now that that’s sorted out, is Michele Morrone married? As of this writing, the actor isn’t married to a wife. Similarly, he doesn’t seem to be dating anyone at the moment, as there are no official reports that claim such.

However, he was recently linked to British TV show host Maya Jama after the two worked together in a Dolce & Gabbana perfume campaign. In the campaign, they played a couple walking the streets of Rome before they lost each other.

The ad was launched in January 2025, and people have been shipping the duo ever since. But as of now, it doesn’t seem like Morrone and Jama are dating. So, it looks like the Italian singer doesn’t have a girlfriend in 2025, and his present relationship status is single.

In the same year that they got married, in September 2014, Michele and Rouba welcomed their first bundle of joy, a son named Marcus. The couple welcomed their second son, Brado, three years later, in September 2017.

Everything seemed fine with the couple’s marriage on the outside, especially after the birth of their second child; however, it wasn’t that way on the inside. Cracks had begun to build their way up, and in 2018, they called it quits and divorced.

It’s reported that Michele and his ex wife divorced due to disputes and other personal issues, but the exact reason isn’t revealed. Two years later, in 2020, the actor opened up a bit about how he was in a deep depression following his split with Rouba.

On February 8, 2020, in a candid Instagram post, he wrote, “A year and a half ago, I was about to leave everything. I didn’t want to act anymore. I was in a severe state of depression after divorcing my wife.”

Besides this, there isn’t much information available about Michele and Rouba’s relationship, as well as their divorce. As for their children, Michele still maintains a good relationship with them and can be seen posting pictures alongside them on several occasions.

The actor has also taken his sons on vacations to different places. On one such instance, while vacationing in Ischia, Italy, he shared some cute pictures with his kids. In the caption, he mentioned that his children are the best film of his life.

As mentioned earlier, Michele was married to his ex wife from 2014 to 2018, and they dated for around seven years before marrying. As for his love life before his relationship with Rouba, there are no details available.

Following his divorce from Rouba, Michele stayed single for some time, and while he was linked to several people, including Anna Maria Sieklucka, nothing was ever confirmed. In September 2022, people heavily speculated that the actor was dating Khloé Kardashian.

The rumors heated up after they were spotted together at a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Milan. With Michele posting a picture with Khloé on his Instagram story, the talks only went further.

Later, in a July 2023 episode of The Kardashians, netizens learned that Khloé’s sister, Kim Kardashian, wanted to set up Michele with her sister at the Dolce & Gabbana event, where Kim served as the Creative Director.

Speaking of Michele and his Netflix film, Kim told some of her friends, “He’s so hot. He’s in the show. It’s like soft porn, practically, but it’s a show on Netflix. So, let’s fully set this up so that Khloe falls in love in Milan. But she has no idea.”

When Khloé eventually found out, she was also on board. In a confessional, she said, “I didn’t know I lost my mojo, but I guess Kim definitely thinks I did, so we need to find that motherf— somewhere. I think he’s super hot. He’s like a man. I love a good man.”

However, a romance was never confirmed, with Michele’s rep telling E! News, “There’s no relationship to speak of at all. The two were asked to take a photo together at the D&G show. They obliged.”

Michele and Khloé didn’t date can also be proven by the fact that the former started dating model Moara Sorio in November 2022. The duo initially kept their relationship under wraps, but they were ultimately photographed together, including once with Morrone’s ex-wife.

After the news got out, they began flaunting each other on their respective social media handles, sharing mirror selfies and cute pictures. In November 2023, he even wrote a song about her and posted it on his TikTok handle.

However, it seems their togetherness wasn’t meant to last forever as they eventually broke up in mid-2024, with the reason still unknown. After this, he was rumored to be dating his Subservience co-star Megan Fox, following the latter’s split with Machine Gun Kelly.

However, Megan was quick to shut down the speculations as one of her reps told TMZ, “Any accusations beyond a work friendship are simply untrue. They filmed a movie together a year ago. Michele is currently in Italy filming another project.”

In January 2025, Michele was reportedly seen kissing sports journalist Marialuisa Jacobelli in Milan, Italy. Around the same time, he was also linked to Maya Jama. Nonetheless, none of these romance speculations has either been confirmed or denied.
