Edie Brickell is an American singer-songwriter best known for Edie Brickell & New Bohemians’ debut album, Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars, which peaked at number four on the Billboard albums list in 1988.
She is married to musician and songwriter Paul Simon. The couple tied the knot on May 30, 1992 — making it her first marriage and Simon’s third.
The duo are together to date and as of 2024, they have been married for 32 years. They have three children together, Adrian, Lulu, and Gabriel.
Though there have been various ups and downs in their relationship, including a domestic dispute that involved violence by both parties. Regardless, the duo have made it though, and are still married to date.

Recently, the first part of the documentary about Simon’s life was released, titled, In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon. It was released on March 17, 2024, where various parts of Simon’s life were discussed.
His wife, Brickell also talked about their relationship and revealed that she was warned not to date him, saying he was arrogant. “When I first started dating him somebody warned me, ‘Don’t date him, he’s arrogant,’” Brickell reminisced. “And I said, ‘How do you know? You don’t know him. It’s from the media.’”

There were various misconceptions about Simon because of his split from his band, Simon & Garfunkel, with his childhood friend, Art Garfunkel. Brickell defended her husband and said, “In terms of Art Garfunkel, they made it seem like Paul victimized him.”
“As opposed to the truth being that the guy walked away to pursue a different kind of career. Everybody looked at it as, ‘Oh, Paul went off to do Paul,’ but that’s not what happened,” she pointed out.
Despite the public opinion of Simon, with many calling him arrogant, Brickell decided to look past all of it. So, even though she was warned not to date him, she dated him, and now, the pair have been married for over three decades.
Who is Paul Simon?
Simon is an American singer-songwriter best known for his solo work and collaborations with Garfunkel. He and his schoolmate Garfunkel, whom he met in 1953, rose to notoriety in the 1960s as Simon & Garfunkel.
Their folk-rock combination, which included classics like ‘The Sound of Silence,’ ‘Mrs. Robinson,’ ‘America,’ and ‘The Boxer,’ served as a soundtrack to the counterculture movement. Their final album, Bridge Over Troubled Water (1970), is among the best-selling of all time.
Simon’s solo work has included gospel, reggae, and soul. His albums Paul Simon (1972), There Goes Rhymin’ Simon (1973), and Still Crazy After All These Years (1975) retained him in the public spotlight and received critical praise, creating singles such as ‘Mother and Child Reunion,’ ‘Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard,’ and ‘50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.’
Simon & Garfunkel reunited for multiple tours, including the 1981 Concert in Central Park. Simon’s most popular and praised album, Graceland, was released in 1986, and it had South African elements.
‘You Can Call Me Al’ became one of Simon’s most popular tracks. Graceland was followed by The Rhythm of the Saints (1990) and a second Concert in the Park in 1991, without Garfunkel, which drew half a million people.
Simon penned the Broadway musical The Capeman in 1988, which garnered terrible reviews. He recorded and toured far into the twenty-first century.
His subsequent albums, including You’re the One (2000), So Beautiful or So What (2011), and Stranger to Stranger (2016), exposed him to new audiences. Simon stopped performing in 2018; however, he continued to record songs.
The album Seven Psalms was released in May 2023.
Simon is one of the world’s best-selling music artists. He has twice been elected into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has won sixteen Grammy Awards, including three for Album of the Year.
Two of his albums, Sounds of Silence and Graceland, were entered into the National Recording Registry for their cultural value, and in 2007, the Library of Congress named him the first winner of the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. He is also one of the co-founders of the Children’s Health Fund, a non-profit organization that offers medical services to children.

On the show, she revealed that her friends knew he was the perfect one for her before she realized that. She stated, “You know what’s funny? My friends and the people around me knew he was the one before I knew he was.”
“And I was just, to be very honest and not to be a cheese ball, I was just appreciating him as a person. I just thought he was very generous and caring and kind and you know, he had all these qualities and I just remember thinking this is one of the most wonderful people I know and that was enough for me.”
“So, it wasn’t like, I didn’t need anything more from him. It was a friend. It felt good to know somebody who was real and good, you know, and that was it. I had no expectation. And I think that’s when it happens, you know, when you don’t think something’s going to happen,” she concluded.
In another exclusive with People Magazine, the 46-year-old actress concluded explained why she occasionally sleeps separately from Curtis. She said, “There’s nothing better in the morning than a cuddle to show how much you love your person.”
“The first thing I think when I open my eyes is, ‘Is my partner lonely?’ Sometimes my partner snores. I don’t want to sleep separately, but sometimes you can’t handle the noise. In the morning, I go back to him and give him a hug and make him feel loved,” she added.
Before this confirmation, fans had speculated about her love life for a while as Maggie maintained a low profile in the following years. In a 2022 interview with People, she hinted at being in a serious relationship but avoided naming her partner.

Most of the time, their talking about their girlfriend or boyfriend has led them into career-breaking scandals. As a result, they keep their dating life out of the spotlight.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aka TXT’s Yeonjun, is the same. To date, he has not talked about his dating history or if he has a girlfriend.
His dating history is unknown as well since he has never revealed if he has dated anyone in the past. So generally, his fans and followers believe that he is single.
That being said, he has been rumored to be dating fellow K-pop idol, Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM. Here is all we know.
Is Yunjin Yeonjun’s girlfriend?
At the time of writing, neither Yeonjun nor Yunjin have talked about their dating history. They have never admitted to being in a relationship.
However, some netizens noticed signs that led them to believe that Yunjin was Yeonjun’s girlfriend. In January 2023, they were eager to ship the two stars together after discovering the alleged evidence of their relationship, which was supposedly stolen from Yunjin’s private Spotify account.

The account, titled ‘Huh Yunjin,’ had some songs she had previously suggested to admirers. The dating allegations were fueled by a sketch used as her profile photo, which depicted a girl and boy who looked very similar to Yunjin and Yeonjun, donning clothing and hair colors they’ve both worn in the past.
The painting has elements that are true to the artists’ original style in real life as well. Yeonjun was drawn precisely as he appeared with his blue hair and several piercings.
Yunjin, for her part, presented a photograph of herself together with her gold earrings. Yunjin’s doodle mirrored her own designs used in music videos for self-produced songs such as ‘I ≠ DOLL’ and ‘Love You Twice.’
Not only this, netizens noticed how close Yeonjun and his alleged girlfriend were on Hybe’s Fifteen Nights on a Business Trip. Both Yeonjun’s group, TXT, and Yunjin’s group, LE SSERAFIM, belong to the same label, Hybe.
So, when they were playing games, netizens noted subtle signs and claimed that the duo were dating. For instance, when all the idols were lining up, Yeonjun allegedly tried to come behind Yunjin.
But in the end, Kazuha, Yunjin’s fellow team member from LE SSERAFIM, came behind her. But Yunjin let Kazuha go in front of her in the line, and she ended up standing beside her alleged boyfriend.
These are the two major pieces of evidence that netizens have claimed to support the dating history between Yeonjun and his supposed girlfriend. Even though the rumor started in January 2023, it has continued to this date.
Whenever there is a dating rumor of an unnamed K-pop idol, many netizens believe that it is of Yeonjun and Yunjin, and at times, the rumors have spread around like wildfire. MOA and FEARNOT, the fanbase of TXT and LE SSERAFIM, respectively, have always defended the idols.
They contended that a Spotify account cannot be used to determine the authenticity of allegations. They believe it is simpler to combine them as labelmates rather than create a fake dating history between the duo.

Most of the MOA and FEARNOT have taken a neutral attitude, requesting that people not speculate on their personal lives and leave them alone. However, some of them believe that it is a plot against TXT’s Yeonjun and Yunjin, as the former is set to come back shortly, and LE SSERAFIM is growing in popularity.
They also noticed a pattern that whenever TXT is having a comeback, there are rumors and dating scandals about Yeonjun having a girlfriend. For instance, in January 2023, they announced their comeback, their fifth EP, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, which was released on January 27, 2023.

Yeonjun is a South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper signed to Big Hit Music. He is a member of the boy group TXT.
Yeonjun auditioned for Big Hit Music (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) with BTS’s song ‘Boy In Luv.’ After his success, Big Hit hired him as a trainee in 2014.
His training time of five years, from 2014-2019, is the longest among all Big Hit performers. This includes his TXT teammates.
Before joining Big Hit, Yeonjun was a Cube Entertainment trainee. Yeonjun was announced as the first member of TXT on January 10, 2019, when he released a teaser video on YouTube.
