Savannah Chrisley Secretly Married Jason Galanis in the Cayman Islands Months Before Baby Reveal
The Chrisley Knows Best alum didn’t just get engaged and pregnant—she quietly tied the knot with her businessman beau at a Caribbean church over the summer.
Savannah Chrisley had one more major secret up her sleeve.
Days after shocking fans by announcing she is both engaged and expecting her first child, it turns out the 29-year-old reality star is already a married woman. According to official marriage records obtained by People, Chrisley and businessman Jason Galanis quietly tied the knot on July 14 at a Baptist church in the Cayman Islands.
The private ceremony took place just months after the pair originally got engaged in the Caribbean paradise—and two days before Galanis celebrated his 56th birthday.
The revelation answers widespread speculation sparked earlier in the week. During the Tuesday episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, the host revealed she was pregnant and showed off an enormous diamond ring, confirming she had found love with Jason after about a year of dating. While she casually referred to upcoming wedding plans being shifted to May 2027 due to her surprise pregnancy, internet sleuths quickly noticed what appeared to be a diamond wedding band on her finger in newly posted professional photos from jeweler shoots.
Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley, only added fuel to the fire during a Thursday appearance on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde Podcast. When addressed about rumors claiming his daughter was having a child out of wedlock, Todd coyly pushed back, asking, “Is she? Is she having a child out of wedlock?” While Todd admitted he wasn’t initially thrilled about the couple’s 27-year age gap when they first connected, he praised the relationship for bringing his daughter genuine happiness.
The romance between Savannah and Galanis blossomed quickly following his release from federal custody. Galanis, who previously served time for fraudulent schemes, had his sentence commuted by Donald Trump in March 2025. While serving his time, Galanis was housed at the same federal facility as Todd Chrisley before their respective releases, and he later connected with Savannah in the summer of 2025.
Since then, the newlyweds have settled into their home life in Tennessee. Galanis recently moved into Savannah’s Nashville-area residence, which she purchased earlier this year for $2.2 million.
While the couple still plans to host a larger formal celebration with extended family and friends in May 2027, the marriage records confirm what close observers already suspected: Savannah is stepping into motherhood with a husband by her side.

Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Indicted on Federal Tax Fraud Charges as Arrest Warrant Is Issued
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s former spouse is accused of hiding millions in petroleum sales from Uncle Sam—marking his latest legal battle following their turbulent divorce.
Simon Guobadia is in major hot water with the federal government.
The Nigerian businessman and former Real Housewives of Atlanta personality has been indicted in federal court in Georgia on two felony counts of assisting in the preparation and filing of false federal tax returns, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Federal prosecutors allege that Guobadia intentionally submitted deceptive financial filings to the IRS throughout 2021. In court filings, the feds claim that in March 2021, Guobadia submitted paperwork claiming $0 in taxable income, despite knowing full well that his earnings were substantially higher. Prosecutors also allege that he drastically underreported sales for his company, Simcol Petroleum Limited, which had listed over $45 million in gross sales during that time.
According to the indictment, the pattern allegedly repeated just months later in July 2021. Prosecutors say Guobadia reported a modest $58,231 in taxable personal income, even though his fuel distribution firm showed nearly $31 million in gross sales on the books. Investigators claim that Guobadia was fully aware his actual taxable income and business revenues exceeded what was disclosed on the official paperwork.
Following the indictment, court records confirm an arrest warrant was officially issued for Guobadia. However, it remains unclear whether authorities have taken him into custody. His current legal standing is further complicated by his recent residency history: Guobadia was deported from the United States in 2025 following a protracted battle with immigration authorities.
Guobadia, 62, was thrust into the national reality TV spotlight due to his whirlwind romance with Bravo veteran Porsha Williams. The pair tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in November 2022, only for Williams to file for divorce in February 2024 after just 15 months of marriage.
The fallout from their split played out bitterly in court, concluding with Williams securing a massive legal victory. The RHOA star walked away with the couple’s multimillion-dollar Atlanta mansion alongside a seven-figure financial settlement.
While Williams has largely moved forward from the marital drama, Guobadia’s troubles with the federal government appear to just be getting started. Neither Williams nor Guobadia’s legal representation has publicly commented on the newly unsealed federal charges.

Eliza Butterworth Celebrates Daughter Lola’s 2nd Birthday with Sweet Tribute: ‘You Make Every Single Day Dazzling’
The Last Kingdom star shared an emotional post filled with photos and videos of her “birthday princess.”
Eliza Butterworth is celebrating a major milestone — her baby girl is officially two years old.
The English actress, best known for her role as Lady Aelswith in the hit medieval drama The Last Kingdom (2015–2022) and the BBC miniseries The North Water, took to Instagram on April 22 to mark her daughter Lola Marie’s second birthday with a heartfelt and exuberant tribute.
“Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful, fabulous, hilarious, joyous and abundantly amazing baby girl!” Butterworth wrote. “Lola you are my everything!!! You make every single day dazzling and we are so proud of the incredible baby angel you are!”
The actress continued, “Seeing you turning 2 today is just blowing my mind and you are a dream come true!! We love you birthday princess!”
The Last Kingdom star’s post included a carousel of precious moments — from a sweet cake-cutting ceremony to candid snapshots and heartwarming videos of her daughter taken over the last few years. Fans got a glimpse of little Lola’s growing personality as she celebrated her special day.
Who Is Eliza Butterworth’s Partner?
While Butterworth, who holds dual British and American citizenship, is famously tight-lipped about her personal life, she does share glimpses of her longtime partner on social media. In May 2022, she posted a cozy photo of a man with his arms wrapped around her, captioning it: “My Man. You walked right out of my dreams”.
In other moments, she’s affectionately called him her “beautiful boo” and credited him for taking photos of her travels. The couple has also been spotted at family holidays, but the father’s name and details have remained private, as he stays largely out of the public eye.
A Star on the Rise
Before The Last Kingdom ended its five-season run in 2022, Butterworth grew up in Lincoln, England, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Her career has since flourished with roles in the BBC Two miniseries The North Water, for which she received a National Film Award nomination, and the Sky Max series A Town Called Malice.
But if her Instagram is any indication, her proudest role is clearly “Mama” to Lola.

What’s Next for the Actress?
Though she opted not to join the Last Kingdom follow-up film Seven Kings Must Die, Butterworth has been busy in Tenerife filming A Town Called Malice, a Sky series about a family of criminals in the 1980s Costa del Sol. She’s set to play Carly Lord in the upcoming show.
For now, though, it’s all about cake, candles, and celebrating two years of “magical angel” Lola. As Butterworth put it last Mother’s Day, “Lola is my everything and my best friend”.
