On Thursday, May 2, 2024, Catherine – whose birth name is Catherine Giudici – took to her Instagram stories to post a picture alongside her husband. The photo showed the love birds on the plane on their way to their vacation destination. “10 years married,” she wrote.
Additionally, the reality TV star revealed some details about their luxurious vacation, saying they were staying at the five-star Esperanza resort in Mexico. On the same day, she shared more pictures from their romantic getaway.
She posted a series of pictures and videos showing off the gorgeous views, delicious food, and sweet date nights that she is soaking up with her husband of over a decade. “So far, so bueno. Our 10-year anniversary trip is off to a great start,” she captioned her post.
Some more pictures and videos of their vacation were shared by Catherine on Sunday, May 5. She captioned her Instagram post, writing, “Are we even old enough to have been married 10 years?! Doesn’t feel like it. Happy anniversary celebration, mi amor.”
After watching all the cute pictures of Sean and Catherine Lowe, one Instagram user commented, “All these birthday/anniversary celebration posts made me watch your season. Again! You both don’t look old enough to be married 10 years. Was this a surprise bday/anniv gift?”
Catherine decided to reply to the fan and answer the last question about whether the vacation was Catherine’s birthday gift — she turned 38 on April 29, 2024 — or if it was their wedding anniversary gift.
She revealed that it was their anniversary gift from her husband. She also stated that Sean had surprised her with this trip on their actual wedding anniversary and had managed everything, including asking his parents to watch their children.

She wrote, “He surprised me with this trip ON our anniversary – securing the date with his parents to watch the kids and all that.” The same Instagram user then replied, “Good man. Good man. So you knew about his surprise before your movie theatre surprise.”
The Instagram user was referring to Catherine’s marriage anniversary surprise for her husband Sean. On January 27, 2024, a day after their 10th wedding anniversary, Catherine surprised her partner by renting out the whole movie theatre for a private showing of Oppenheimer.
Like Sean managed the whole vacation in Mexico, Catherine did the same, including asking their family member to take care of their three children. Catherine later posted the whole experience, where she mentioned that Sean had been wanting to see Oppenheimer.
“I was so excited to surprise this old man,” she captioned the video shared on Instagram. To conclude, Catherine and Sean have gone to some limits to make their 10th wedding anniversary a moment to remember for a lifetime.
Speaking of Sean and Catherine’s relationship, they first met on The Bachelor season 17 and engaged during the season finale in March 2013. On January 26, 2014, they shared their wedding vows in a live TV wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Biltmore.
Since getting married, they have continued to be together, and the arrival of their children has only strengthened their relationship. Their three kids are sons Samuel Thomas Lowe (b. July 2, 2016) and Isaiah Hendrix Lowe (b. May 18, 2018) and daughter Mia Mejia Lowe (b. December 23, 2019).

The revelation answers widespread speculation sparked earlier in the week. During the Tuesday episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, the host revealed she was pregnant and showed off an enormous diamond ring, confirming she had found love with Jason after about a year of dating. While she casually referred to upcoming wedding plans being shifted to May 2027 due to her surprise pregnancy, internet sleuths quickly noticed what appeared to be a diamond wedding band on her finger in newly posted professional photos from jeweler shoots.
Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley, only added fuel to the fire during a Thursday appearance on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde Podcast. When addressed about rumors claiming his daughter was having a child out of wedlock, Todd coyly pushed back, asking, “Is she? Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Indicted on Federal Tax Fraud Charges as Arrest Warrant Is Issued
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s former spouse is accused of hiding millions in petroleum sales from Uncle Sam—marking his latest legal battle following their turbulent divorce.
Simon Guobadia is in major hot water with the federal government.
The Nigerian businessman and former Real Housewives of Atlanta personality has been indicted in federal court in Georgia on two felony counts of assisting in the preparation and filing of false federal tax returns, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Federal prosecutors allege that Guobadia intentionally submitted deceptive financial filings to the IRS throughout 2021. In court filings, the feds claim that in March 2021, Guobadia submitted paperwork claiming $0 in taxable income, despite knowing full well that his earnings were substantially higher. Prosecutors also allege that he drastically underreported sales for his company, Simcol Petroleum Limited, which had listed over $45 million in gross sales during that time.
According to the indictment, the pattern allegedly repeated just months later in July 2021. Prosecutors say Guobadia reported a modest $58,231 in taxable personal income, even though his fuel distribution firm showed nearly $31 million in gross sales on the books. Investigators claim that Guobadia was fully aware his actual taxable income and business revenues exceeded what was disclosed on the official paperwork.
Following the indictment, court records confirm an arrest warrant was officially issued for Guobadia. However, it remains unclear whether authorities have taken him into custody. His current legal standing is further complicated by his recent residency history: Guobadia was deported from the United States in 2025 following a protracted battle with immigration authorities.
Guobadia, 62, was thrust into the national reality TV spotlight due to his whirlwind romance with Bravo veteran Porsha Williams. The pair tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in November 2022, only for Williams to file for divorce in February 2024 after just 15 months of marriage.
The fallout from their split played out bitterly in court, concluding with Williams securing a massive legal victory. The RHOA star walked away with the couple’s multimillion-dollar Atlanta mansion alongside a seven-figure financial settlement.
While Williams has largely moved forward from the marital drama, Guobadia’s troubles with the federal government appear to just be getting started. Neither Williams nor Guobadia’s legal representation has publicly commented on the newly unsealed federal charges.
