Cooper Noriega’s Family Reveals Suspects Responsible for His Death Are Arrested

In a heartfelt announcement, Cooper Noriega’s family, including Harold Noriega, Treva Noriega, and Parker Noriega, revealed a significant breakthrough in the investigation into Cooper’s tragic death. 

Treva, taking to her Instagram account, expressed immense gratitude for the relentless efforts of law enforcement. 

According to Treva’s post, after more than 17 months of extensive collaboration with the DEA and Burbank Police Department, two suspects believed to be responsible for Cooper’s death were successfully indicted and arrested.

The family expressed their relief and happiness that justice was finally being served for their beloved Cooper stating, “Our family is very happy that those who are responsible for our beautiful boy’s death will be held accountable.”

The suspects were reported to be in custody, with their arraignment scheduled for November 23, 2023, in Federal court. 

Treva emphasized the family’s desire to communicate this information directly to the Cooper Noriega community before it reached news and media outlets. 

As the legal proceedings unfold, the family has promised to keep the Cooper Noriega community updated, providing them with accurate information.

Cooper Noriega died at the age of 19

Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene in a Burbank parking lot on Thursday, June 9, 2022, according to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office. 

The cause of death was initially deferred, indicating that a conclusive determination had not been reached pending further investigation. 

The sad revelation was first  by Barstool Sports’ BFFs podcast, which posted a poignant black-and-white photo of Cooper, who had recently appeared on their podcast on June 1, 2022. 

The news prompted an outpouring of grief from fans and fellow influencers, with a tweet from the podcast reading, “RIP Cooper Noriega. Life is fragile. Enjoy every minute.” 

Cooper shortly before his death posted a TikTok video featuring a caption that read, “Who else b thinking they gon die young af.” 

Just four days before his passing, the TikTok star had announced plans to create a Discord server dedicated to discussing mental health, inviting his followers to join. 

In a heartfelt TikTok video, he expressed his motivation, saying, “I created [the server] because of how much I love you guys and how much I struggle with it myself.” 

Cooper aimed to leverage his influence to build a community centered on mental health awareness, emphasizing the impact of surrounding oneself with positive influences. 

Cooper Noriega’s cause of death was revealed six months after his death

Cooper’s cause of death was finally revealed six months after his passing when the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner released the official cause of death. 

According to the coroner’s findings, the influencer died due to the combined effects of fentanyl, lorazepam—an anxiety medication—and alprazolam, commonly known as Xanax. 

The coroner’s report also highlighted Cooper’s recent use of clonazepam, another medication prescribed for anxiety, as a significant contributing factor to his tragic end. His death was ruled as an accident.
