Julia Fox and Law Roach have made significant strides in the fashion industry.

Now, the duo has combined their forces to host a new reality show for E! called OMG Fashun. Fox is taking her recycle-chic style to network television with the reality show.

The show, co-hosted by stylist Roach, challenges a group of emerging designers to create red-carpet-worthy ensembles for Fox using unorthodox materials.

In the teaser for the show, which was released on March 18, 2024, Roach said, “One man’s trash is Julia Fox’s treasure,” to which Fox adds, “Doing this show is just what I do in my everyday life.”

Here is all we know about it.

All about ‘OMG Fashun’

OMG Fashun is a reality TV show where Fox is set to inspire “pioneering fashion disruptors” to upend traditional style conventions, break the rules, and redefine cool.

In each episode, three disruptors would be challenged to create a “boundary-breaking look born of Fox’s beautifully bold brain.” They will use materials and techniques that would “make fashion’s so-called gatekeepers squirm.”

They will be given five items that they are required to keep in their designs. They will have a time limit to finish the look so they must compose themselves while making and styling their “unconventional ensembles” for the judges.

Fox and Roach will sit on the judging panel alongside a guest judge who will be changed every episode. The guest judges include Phaedra Parks, Pretty Vee, Violet Chachki, Tommy Dorfman, Wisdom Kaye, Lauren McCarthy, Jordan Roth, and Briana Andalore.

According to the show’s description, “The disruptor with the most eye-catching, unexpected, and cutting-edge look is crowned the winner of the competition.” At the end of the show, the winner would win $10,000, and Fox would model their designs.

Julia Fox and Law Roach in the fashion industry

Fox is an Italian-American actress and model.

Her debut performance in the 2019 film Uncut Gems earned her a nomination for the Breakthrough Actor Award at the 2019 Gotham Awards. She is also recognized for her unique style and internet presence.

Fox began her career as a clothes designer, and she and her friend Briana Andalore co-founded the popular women’s knitwear premium label Franziska Fox. She has also worked as a model, posing for Playboy’s last naked issue in 2015, as well as an exhibiting painter and photographer.

She self-published two collections of photography — Symptomatic of a Relationship Gone Sour: Heartburn/Nausea (2015) and PTSD (2016). Fox staged an art display named “R.I.P. Julia Fox’” in 2017, which featured silk paintings painted with her blood.

She constantly designs her red carpet look and is known for her unconventional and avant-garde concepts.

Roach is an American former fashion stylist best known for his role as a main judge on Max’s competition series Legendary. As a stylist, he has worked with celebrities such as Celine Dion, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Kerry Washington, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ariana Grande, and Megan Thee Stallion.

In 2016, Roach was revealed as one of the judges for America’s Next TopModel Cycle 23, alongside Ashley Graham, Rita Ora, and Drew Elliott. The following year, he collaborated with Celine Dion to style her for Paris Couture Week, and he was the first African-American stylist to be included in The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Stylist & Stars edition.

He earned the 2021 Gem Award for Jewelry Style. At the 2022 CFDA Awards in New York, he got the inaugural American Fashion Stylist Award.

Roach announced his retirement from style on Instagram on March 14, 2023, saying that the fashion business was not just about clothes but politics and false narratives. However, he subsequently emphasized that he is still working with Zendaya.

Later, Roach remarked that it was best for him to walk away from the industry for a while to work on his mental and physical health.
