2022 is coming to an end, and this year has been an eclectic mix for movie lovers. From big blockbusters to amazing superhero sequels, audiences witnessed films that went on to become highest grossing movies.
However, Top Gun: Maverick stood tall above all the films, becoming one of only two movies that grossed the $1 billion mark. And one of the reasons the movie did so well at the box office was because the highly anticipated sequel to the classic ’80s Tom Cruise movie was finally released after multiple delays.

The other movie that crossed the $1 billion mark was Chris Pratt starrer Jurassic World: Dominion. And if we are talking about the highest-grossing movies, Marvel movies cannot be left behind as their sequel movies to Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther performed well at the box office.
As for Marvel’s rival to superhero movies, DC, they also did quite well with the release of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson. Additionally, films like Minions: The Rise of Gru and video game adaptations such as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Uncharted earned well.
With 2022 yet to officially end, a rising name could be added to the list; the highly anticipated sequel to James Cameron’s Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water. The film will be released on December 16, 2022, and is predicted to earn $500 million worldwide in its opening weekend only.

If that happens, then Avatar: The Way of Water might just follow in the footsteps of the original movie and become the highest-earning movie of all time. But there is still a lot of time left before these things occur.
And before that happens, let’s have a quick look at the 15 highest grossing movies of 2022. [Note: These figures are based on the movie’s worldwide box office, not on domestic figures. The figures might also rise, as some movies are set to return to theaters, and some are still being available at cinemas.]

All About ‘Building Off the Grid’ Season 13 — Release Date, Cast and Episodes
All about Building Off the Grid!
Building Off the Grid is one of the most exciting shows on Discovery Channel.
The show revolves around families who “move off the grid every year in search of better living.” They do so while building perfect “off-the-grid” homes for themselves and their family to live away from the city.
Hundreds of families have opted for this over the years, with Discovery showing only a few of them via Building Off the Grid. The show has had 12 seasons, with a possibility of Season 13.
Here is all we know about the show and its future.
About ‘Building Off the Grid’
Off-the-grid is a design feature of buildings and a lifestyle that is self-sufficient and does not rely on one or more public services.
The term “off-the-grid” generally refers to not being linked to the electrical grid, but it may also relate to other services such as water, gas, and sewer systems, and it can range from single-family houses to small cities.
Off-the-grid living allows structures and individuals to be self-sufficient, which is useful in remote areas where standard utilities are inaccessible and appealing to those who wish to lessen their environmental impact and expense of living.
Building Off the Grid is all about this.
The premise of the program centers around people or families building homes and other structures in distant, off-the-grid locales without access to typical services like power, water, or sewage systems.
The show’s major focus is on the construction process, the problems that the builders confront, and the innovative and sustainable ways they use to produce their one-of-a-kind homes.
It focuses on self-sufficiency and sustainability. To address their energy demands, the builders on the show frequently use alternative energy sources such as solar panels, wind turbines, and hydroelectric generators.
The show features a variety of interesting and imaginative constructions, such as cabins, treehouses, miniature homes, and more. Each project shows the builders’ particular style and preferences.
The show frequently dives into the motives of the people or families doing these off-grid construction projects. Their origins, goals, and motivations for living off the grid are fascinating and something that has kept the show alive for 12 seasons.
Overall, Building Off the Grid blends aspects of adventure, do-it-yourself building, and sustainable living, making it appealing to a diverse audience interested in these issues.

Where is ‘No Demo Reno’ filmed?
Todryk was raised in Burleson, Texas, and currently resides in North Dallas with her husband and three children. The pair already owns Armour Coffee Co., a coffee shop in neighboring Allen, Texas, and are in the midst of developing a brewery under the same name.
This shows that Todryk is well-versed in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, and hence is comfortable filming and renovating in the area.
The cast of ‘No Demo Reno’
The main cast of No Demo Reno is Todryk. She is the one who renovates the houses in the Dallas-Fort Worth region and calls all the shots.
She is the face of the HGTV show, and sometimes her kids and husband make a cameo. She shares three kids, Von, Berkley, and Vivienne, with her husband, Mike.
As of 2023, Todryk and Mike have been married for 12 years. Mike is a veteran and currently runs a coffee shop, Armor Coffee Co., named after Psalm 91:4, the soldier’s prayer.
He is also working on opening their own brewery, Armor Brewing Co. The renovations of the brewery are going to be featured on No Demo Reno Season 3.
Todryk told TV Insider how it was “super fun to have the family involved.”
She added, “Though at the end of the day, this is my thing, so if my kids don’t want to film or want to be a normal kid after school and watch TV rather than talk on a mic and be part of something I’m filming, then I never make them film.”
About ‘No Demo Reno’ Season 3
No Demo Reno Season 3 premiered on September 14, 2023. At the time of writing, the season is ongoing.
In No Demo Reno Season 3, Todryk is prepared for anything — from projects that are near to her heart to those that have big setbacks.
In the first episode of the new season, she renovated a 1960s home for a family of five, integrating the updated areas with an organic modern style. She added functional storage, including a bespoke appliance cabinet, to the tiny kitchen.
She also installed a dramatic double vanity and bold floor tile in the bathroom, making it suitable for both children and visitors. In the upcoming episodes, Todryk’s beautiful details will be highlighted while she renovates various houses.
This includes a custom-constructed whisky cabinet and a dramatic butler’s pantry with porcelain tile counters while leaving the walls intact. Season 3 also covers her family’s next personal endeavor: the renovation and launch of their local brewery.
In an interview with TV Insider, Todryk mentioned how No Demo Reno Season 3 was different from the previous seasons. She said, “I know season 3 is definitely different from season 1, all in great and positive ways. Not only are my designs constantly changing as a designer as trends come and go but also the show in general.”
She also revealed that she became an executive producer of the HGTV show in Season 2 and in Season 3 too. Because of this, she was able to “change the tone a little bit and evolve the show into something that was more authentic to myself and my personality.”
Talking about difficulties in Season 3, Todryk said, “The biggest and hardest part about this is money does not stretch as far as it did when I started the journey.”
When she started her remodeling journey in 2019, little went a long way. But now, it is not the same.
“It is drastically different to the point where I can’t get anything for the fraction of what I paid my contractors in the first season. I’m really having to get crafty and creative, trying to find discounts and sell homeowner items for more money,” Todryk added.
She mentioned that Season 3 of the show was very near and dear to her heart. She was most excited about the finale episode and said, “Having clients that are so expressive whenever they see their home. I get a handful of those each season with really big personalities. The finale episode is just that.”
“I’m excited for the sweet ending to the season for sure. Happy tears and thankfulness,” she gushed.
Is ‘No Demo Reno’ coming back?
There has been no formal confirmation of a Season 4 renewal or release date announcement.
Given that No Demo Reno Season 3 only premiered on September 14, 2023, it is too early to predict whether the HGTV program will get a fourth season. The third season was renewed in November 2022, after the end of the second season.

Therefore, if the show were to be renewed, then it might be around the time when Season 3 comes to an end. Most likely, No Demo Reno will come back for a fourth season.
It draws in a lot of viewers and has a massive fanbase. According to Nielsen and the network, No Demo Reno earned more than 18.4 million viewers in its sophomore season and ranked among the Top 3 non-news/sports cable programs among W25-54 and upmarket W25-54.
