How Much Is a Rose on TikTok? TikTok Gifts Explained
What is the worth of the rose in TikTok?

The short videos and fun content never stop in TikTok. But did you know that TikTok also has a gifting system that lets you show appreciation for your favorite creators?
When you’re watching a live stream on TikTok and feeling particularly generous, you can send the creator a virtual gift.
You can choose from a variety of cute and quirky virtual items, like a dancing hamster or a flying saucer. Among all of them, gifting roses is the most common practice in TikTok live.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Creators can redeem these gifts for real money once they meet certain requirements. So not only do you get to show your support for your favorite TikTok stars, but you’re also helping them earn some extra cash.
In this article, we will provide information on the value of a rose in TikTok’s gifting system and how much TikTokers can potentially earn from them.
How much does a rose worth in TikTok?
The TikTok Rose is one of the most affordable gifts you can send during a TikTok Live session, costing only 1 TikTok coin. You can either tap the ‘Gift’ button or use the dedicated ‘Rose’ button to send a Rose during a TikTok Live session.
There are several other gifts that can be sent for 1 TikTok coin in addition to the Rose. Some examples of these gifts include the TikTok logo, Football, Gg, Tennis, Mini Speakers, Wishing Bottle, and Ice Cream Cone.

Other several expensive gifts available on TikTok can be sent using a large number of coins, including Rainbow Puking Unicorn, which costs 1000 TikTok coins, and Drama Queen, costing 5000 TikTok coins.
Similarly, Golden Doodle costs 10,000 coins, and Love Bang costs 100,000 TikTok coins. However, it’s worth noting that the Rose is one of the most popular gifts due to its simplicity and recognition.
Let us also know the actual cost of the 1-coin Rose in real money. To purchase coins on TikTok, the platform offers various coin packages, the cheapest being 65 coins for 99 cents. This translates to roughly 1.5 cents per coin, which is also the cost of sending a single Rose.
If you buy the 65-coin package, you can send up to 65 Roses. There are also more expensive coin packages available, such as the 330 coin package, which costs $4.99 and allows you to send 330 Roses.
So, how can you buy TikTok coins?
To recharge coins from your TikTok account, you first need to tap on the ‘Profile’ button at the bottom of the TikTok app. From there, tap on ‘Settings and privacy’ and then select ‘Balance.’ You can then tap on ‘Recharge’ and choose the ‘Coins package’ that you want to purchase. Follow the instructions given to complete the purchase through the applicable app store.
Another way to recharge Coins is by tapping on the ‘Comments’ button on a TikTok video and then tapping on the ‘Gifts’ button in the comment bar. If you don’t see Gifts, it means the creator isn’t currently able to receive them.
Once you tap on ‘Recharge,’ you can choose the ‘Coins’ package that you want to purchase and follow the instructions to complete the purchase through the applicable app store.
It’s easy to purchase Coins on TikTok and recharge them to send Gifts to your favorite creators. However, it’s important to note that Gifts and Coins may not be available in all areas.
Creators are earning through TikTok live stream
Some TikTok users have acclaimed that they have earned money by receiving virtual gifts during live streams or elsewhere in the app. For instance, ASMR content creator Lucy Davis mentioned that she could make between $20 and $300 every time she goes live.
Meanwhile, Australian creator Jakey Boehm, who streams while he sleeps, made $34,000 in one month from TikTok Live alone. According to Boehm, the money he made was life-changing, and he realized how much potential he had to earn after earning $5,000 in the first week.

Retail Casino Giants MGM and Caesers Suffer Major Cyberattacks
One cannot fathom the chaos that MGM Resorts properties have been going through since the hackers took down casino operations.

Any illusions that Las Vegas retail casinos are more secure than Fort Knox were quickly diminished in the last few weeks. In fact, it only took a group of mischievous young people between the ages of 19 and 22 to bring the world’s two biggest adult entertainment giants to their knees.
They call them hackers. This group of hackers has been assigned the moniker “Scattered Spider” by a renowned group of cybersecurity researchers. What did Scattered Spider do to earn such notoriety for tackling corporate giants?
They hacked into the systems of gambling behemoths Caesar’s Entertainment and MGM Resorts International. They hacked into the systems, locked down a number of key system platforms, and kept those platforms locked down pending ransom demands being met.
It’s important to remember that Caesars and MGM own and operate multiple casino properties on the Las Vegas Strip. The effects of the hacks were felt throughout all of the associated properties.
Details of the Crimes
The first cyberattack took place a few weeks ago when the hackers got access to Caesars’ massive database. Though not conclusive, Scattered Spider is believed to be responsible for the crime.
The evidence suggests they gained access to Caesars’ system by initially hacking into the database of a key Ceasars’ IT vendor where they got security protocol access. Once they had the system, they contacted Caesars and requested a ransom of $30 million to not share the data that was uncovered. Reportedly, Caesars paid about half that ransom amount.
The second attack took place the second week of September. That is when Scattered Spider reportedly cracked the security protocols that were in place to protect MGM Resorts International’s main computer system.
Security research firm CrowdStrike stated the breach was created by social engineering used to gather system login credentials or one-time-password (OTP) codes. After the breach, the hackers reportedly sent a ransom request to MGM’s management. The amount of the ransom request and possible payment thereof has yet to be disclosed.
In both cases, the FBI and corporate security officials are investigating the cybercrimes.
Regarding the hackers’ modus operandi, Charles Carmakal, chief technology officer at Mandiant Intelligence posted this on his LinkedIn account:
“Although members of the group may be less experienced and younger than many of the established multifaceted extortion/ransomware groups and nation-state espionage actors, they are a serious threat to large organizations in the United States. Many members are native English speakers and are incredibly effective social engineers.”
What a Las Vegas Retail Casino System Lockdown Looks Like
One cannot fathom the chaos that MGM Resorts properties have been going through since the hackers took down casino operations. The effect has been felt by management, employees, and thousands of Hotel/Casino customers in the Las Vegas area.
It’s noteworthy that while MGM officials are claiming everything is under control, those folks being affected are telling a very different story.
To give readers an idea of what a Las Vegas Hotel/Casino system lockdown looks like, here are just a few of the issues that were created:
– Customers had to be checked in and checked out manually, which led to long lines and angry customers
– ATM machines and cash advance machines were not working
– Loyalty points could not be tabulated and cards could not be used to pay for free play, food, and beverages
– Electronic room access key cards were not working, leaving hotel customers unable to get into their rooms
– Electronic slot machines were not working properly, which led to customers having long waits for help from casino attendants.
– Customers who were unable to cash out electronic gaming cash vouchers had to be paid manually, which led to long casino cashier lines.
– Massive numbers of customers abandoned small slot winnings after waiting too long for help from attendants
– Concierge services were offline
– Gambling areas had to be shut down
Online Gambling Customers are Watching
Online gambling typically has several incentives to attract players to their casino website. These include an online casino bonus, giveaways and trips, and high stakes tournaments among other things. However, security is a big issue and many would-be online gamblers are hesitant to register with these casinos sites because of this fear.
It’s been a major issue that online gambling operators have been facing for years. That is, to convince customers that their online gambling operations are safe and secure. The fact that the world’s two largest retail casino operators have now been hacked doesn’t bode well for online gambling operators in the UK and the U.S.
In the minds of online gamblers across the globe, the news of these hacks begs the question, “How do online gambling operators protect their gambling sites.” Answer: Most sites are protected by intricate firewalls and the latest in Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
Do these security protocols offer online casino and sportsbook customers enough protection from criminals? While the answer was long thought to be yes, the evidence now shows that when hackers want access, they will get access. It’s a game and hackers seem to be winning at the expense of gambling operators and their customers.

The Evolution of Special Effects: From Practical to Digital
The turning point in the evolution of special effects came with the digital revolution.

In the realm of film and television, the art of special effects has undergone a remarkable evolution, reshaping the narrative landscape and enthralling viewers through fresh and exhilarating means.
The trajectory from practical effects to their digital counterparts constitutes a captivating odyssey that mirrors technological progress and the limitless ingenuity of filmmakers. Throughout this voyage, the role of technology, including innovative tools like the check stub maker, has been pivotal in driving this transformation.
The Practical Effects Era
Before the advent of digital technology, filmmakers relied on practical effects to bring their imaginative visions to life. These effects involved physical techniques, clever engineering, and artistic craftsmanship.
The early days of cinema saw pioneers like Georges Méliès using techniques like stop-motion animation and matte paintings to create otherworldly scenes in films like “A Trip to the Moon” (1902).
As technology progressed, practical effects became more sophisticated. Miniature models, animatronics, and prosthetic makeup allowed filmmakers to achieve a higher level of realism.
Classic movies like “King Kong” (1933) utilized stop-motion animation to bring the titular creature to life, while “2001: A Space Odyssey” (1968) used meticulously crafted models to depict space travel. These techniques required immense dedication and skill, often involving large teams of artists working tirelessly behind the scenes.
The Digital Revolution
The turning point in the evolution of special effects came with the digital revolution. The introduction of computers and digital technology opened up new possibilities that were previously unimaginable. The late 20th century saw the emergence of computer-generated imagery (CGI), which quickly became a game-changer in the world of filmmaking.
One of the watershed moments in the history of CGI was the film “Jurassic Park” (1993). Director Steven Spielberg teamed up with Industrial Light & Magic to create lifelike dinosaurs using CGI.
The success of the film marked a paradigm shift in the industry, demonstrating the potential of digital effects to create realistic and awe-inspiring visuals. The ability to generate creatures, environments, and phenomena entirely in the digital realm began to reshape the cinematic landscape.
Blending Realities: Practical and Digital Synthesis
The evolution of special effects did not result in the complete abandonment of practical techniques. Instead, a synergy between practical effects and digital technology emerged. Filmmakers recognized the value of blending these approaches to achieve even more impressive and immersive results.
Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy (2001-2003) is a prime example of this synthesis. The filmmakers combined traditional miniature sets, animatronics, and prosthetic makeup with cutting-edge CGI to create the rich and expansive world of Middle-earth. This combination allowed for seamless transitions between practical and digital elements, enhancing the believability of the fantasy realm.
Expanding Creative Horizons
As digital technology continued to evolve, the scope of creative possibilities expanded exponentially. Films like “Avatar” (2009) demonstrated the potential of CGI to create entirely digital worlds that felt real and tangible. Director James Cameron pushed the boundaries of technology, using motion capture and advanced rendering techniques to bring the alien planet of Pandora to life.
Today, visual effects are an integral part of nearly every major film and television production. From superhero blockbusters to intimate dramas, filmmakers harness digital effects to enhance storytelling, create stunning visuals, and transport audiences to new dimensions.
The rise of streaming platforms has further fueled the demand for high-quality visual effects, as series like “Game of Thrones” and “Stranger Things” deliver cinematic experiences to the small screen.
The Future of Special Effects
As we look ahead, it’s clear that the evolution of special effects is far from over. Advancements in artificial intelligence, real-time rendering, and virtual production are poised to revolutionize the industry once again.
Filmmakers are exploring ways to use AI to streamline the production process, while virtual production techniques allow directors to visualize and manipulate digital environments in real-time.
The line between the practical and the digital continues to blur, creating exciting opportunities for filmmakers to push the boundaries of their craft. Whether it’s resurrecting long-lost actors through CGI, exploring uncharted realms of imagination, or immersing audiences in interactive narratives, the future of special effects holds limitless potential.
The Role of Paystubs in Cinematography
In this exploration of the evolution of special effects, we also delve into the often overlooked yet critical role of paystubs in the world of cinematography. As technology advanced and the industry professionalized, the meticulous documentation of payments and contracts became essential.
Paystubs not only symbolize the growth of the industry but also highlight the intricate web of collaboration that brings these visual spectacles to life. From the practical effects era to the digital revolution, paystubs serve as a reminder of the dedicated individuals who contribute their talents behind the scenes, ensuring that creativity and innovation continue to shine on the silver screen.
In Conclusion
The evolution of special effects from practical to digital is a testament to human ingenuity and the relentless pursuit of artistic excellence. From the humble beginnings of matte paintings and stop-motion animation to the dazzling digital landscapes of today’s blockbusters, the journey has been marked by innovation and collaboration between artists and technologists.
As technology continues to evolve, one thing remains constant: the magic of cinema’s ability to transport us to worlds both familiar and fantastical.
