Max Schneider Knew Wife Emily Schneider Was the One after One Kiss

Max Schneider, aka MAX, is opening up about the moment he knew his current wife, Emily Schneider, was the one after just one kiss.
The American singer, who has been married to his wife for nearly a decade, recently discussed the moment he met his wife for the first time. This revelation came during Max’s exclusive interview with People Magazine, which the outlet published on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Fans have been more than curious about Max’s relationship with his wife since he released his most recent album titled Love in Stereo, an album in which the pop star primarily wrote about his feelings for his spouse.
And during his interview with People, he finally shared the origin story of his romance with his now-wife for the first time. Max mentioned that he met Emily – who went by Emily Cannon before their wedding – through a mutual friend.
During Max’s 2015 tour with Fall Out Boy, his and Emily’s mutual friend – a girl – asked Max if she could also invite Emily to his performance at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois. Max allowed his friend to bring Emily over.
He stated, “I was like, ‘Oh, that hot British girl, for sure. She should definitely come to my show.’ And then she’s like, ‘I think she’d be down to make out with you.’ I was like, ‘Sweet, let’s see what happens.'”
That mutual friend brought Emily to Max’s show, and before the ‘Butterflies’ singer hit the stage, he kissed his future wife. At that moment, he knew Emily was the one for him. “I was like, ‘She’s it. I don’t want to see anybody else ever,'” he recalled the moment.
Moreover, he didn’t want to leave Emily in Chicago, so he decided to invite her over to North Carolina for another show that was happening the following weekend. Max quipped, “She was stupid enough to say yes — stupid in love enough.”
“Ever since, we’ve never been apart, and we’re going on nine years together,” he added. Moreover, Max had recently become single at the time and revealed that he wanted to have a bachelor’s life, kissing girls backstage and all.

But things immediately changed after just a kiss with Emily. He continued by saying, “She was the first one, and of course, I got married to her, which is hilarious. I’m a wife guy. She calls me her baby girl.”
Speaking of Max and Emily’s relationship, they met in 2015 and began dating in the same year. Their relationship was on a fast track: they got engaged after months of dating, and on April 1, 2016, the love birds shared their wedding vows in a courthouse in New York City.
The small yet intimate wedding was followed by a small reception at Max’s apartment. “We literally got engaged in four months, and our parents were like, ‘This seems kind of crazy,’ but it’s the thing that I’ve been the most sure of in my whole life,” Max stated at the time.
Since getting married, Max and Emily have always been together and supported each other. He told People, “She’s believed in me the most and changed my whole life. She saw me the deepest and made me feel the most confident.”
“Every day, I’m like, ‘If she wants to be with me, then I can’t believe that she wants to be with me.’ That’s how I feel about her, and I am still really so in love with her,” the singer added to his statement.
Around four years after getting married, Max and Emily revealed their family was expanding, as they were expecting their first child together. People Magazine exclusively announced their pregnancy and revealed the baby gender on July 8, 2020.
At the time, Max mentioned, “I’m so excited. I think about it every day. I look at all of the other musician girl dads that I love. I’ve been excited to be a girl dad my whole life, I feel. I’m excited to support her and empower her.”
“I’m definitely freaking out about potential boyfriends. I didn’t think I’d feel that way. But I just can’t wait to give her so much love and be there for her. I’m just the most ecstatic to be a girl dad,” he added.

On December 1, 2021, Max and his wife welcomed their daughter, whom they named Edie Celine. After the birth of their daughter, Max even dedicated a song to his baby girl and titled it by her name — the song is also the closing track of Max’s new album Love in Stereo.
As of now, Max and Emily have been married for almost eight years. Their togetherness is still strong, and by the way Max praises his wife, it can be assumed that they have mutual respect for one another. Furthermore, they haven’t welcomed other children besides their daughter.

The singer’s music video for ‘She’s Come a Long Way’ features several strong women.
Britnee Kellogg is a talented country music singer who gained fame due to her appearance in seasons 11 and 12 of American Idol. Recently, she released the music video for ‘She’s Come a Long Way,’ which not only has good music but also good lyrics and a powerful message.
She premiered the music exclusively through People’s magazine and the music video included powerful women from her home state of Oregon who have made their way through extreme challenges.
Kellogg collaborated with Autumn McEntire on this song, who ironically turned out to be the niece of the person she idolizes the most. In a recent interview with People, she mentioned, “Reba McEntire is the love of my life. She’s the first cassette tape I ever owned. She has always been a huge inspiration for me musically.”
It was like fate that she met Autumn a few years back and got to work with her. “When I first met her several years ago, I knew her last name was McEntire, but that’s kind of a common last name,” says Kellogg.
She continues the conversation by saying, “I guess I never asked her until she posted something about having a cut on her aunt’s record and I was like, ‘Excuse me, you never told me this?!’ It made me respect her even more that she doesn’t go around bragging that she’s Reba’s niece. I think that says a lot about her character.”

The music video for ‘She’s Come a Long Way’ started with a woman introducing herself as 44-year-old Alexis, who is currently a senior director of Accounting. She also revealed that she’s a mother of 5 children and a breast cancer survivor.
The video then went on to introduce other powerful women, like 30-year-old Erica, a nurse who is in high demand. Then, Nikki was introduced, a 49-year-old layout engineer who survived a life-changing injury.

Other women included were 26-year-old business advisor and artist Kayla and 46-year-old Midwife Megan, who has delivered 500+ babies and has been clean and sober for 17 years. Next came Lisa, who is a special education teacher and a teen mother, followed by 37-year-old Mikeisha, who is a personal shopper, boutique owner, healthcare leader, and a wife and a mother.
The video also included 52-year-old Tracie, who is a property manager, and Slumberkins founders Kelly and Callie. The last person to be introduced was Angela, the co-founder of I Am Foster Kid.
Kellogg created this music video to honor how they’ve come a long way and still have much to do. She wanted to leave a very powerful message so that every woman is inspired by what they are doing.

Since the song was released on YouTube, it has garnered more than 5k views in a week, with 500+ likes. Although the video has not garnered many comments on the platform, her Instagram post is filled with congratulatory posts and positive reviews.
On March 28, Kellogg posted a video reacting to the People’s cover of her new music video, captioning it with “Thank you @people and @triciadespres for highlighting this song and these amazing women”
Under this post, there were many fan comments, where one commented, “CONGRATULATIONS! 🥹 call such a beautiful tribute!! Forever so proud of you! It’s so amazing on the other side of things but it also takes a lot outta you. But I guess we’ll see down the line.”

To this, the wrestler replied, “He loves it. He doesn’t make him feel a certain negative sort of way. He’s happy for me and he also knows how far I can go in this company and how far his limitations are as well.”
