Margaret Odette’s personal life has been raising questions among her fanbase for some time now. However, it looks like her fans will have to wait for more time before learning details about her love life, as she seems involved with her career only.

As of this writing, there have been no reports of the American actress dating a boyfriend. She also hasn’t given any hints of having a secret boyfriend via her Instagram handle. Moreover, nothing proves she has gotten married to a husband.

With Odette possibly leading a single life for years, some fans might believe she has lost her way of dating men. But that doesn’t seem to be the case in her life as the actress explores dating life in reel life, especially as Sasha Snow in Netflix’s Sex/Life.

Odette first joined the Netflix show in 2021 as a series regular, appearing in all eight episodes of season one. Similarly, in the newly released season 2, aired on March 2, 2023, she appeared in 6 out of 8 episodes.

Sasha Snow’s dating life takes a turn in ‘Sex/Life’ season 2

As for who plays Kam, the character is played by American actor Cleo Anthony. Similarly, Snow’s old [and new] flame is a handsome businessman and philanthropist.

As mentioned earlier, Snow and Kam meet each other in the second season’s first episode. After Snow’s interview with Soledad O’Brien ends, her and Connelly’s conversation gets interrupted by a handsome hunk, who turns out to be Kam.

When Snow realizes it’s her old flame who has crossed her path again, she drops her coffee and is intrigued by the fact that Kam left his old job at The Cleveland Clinic to operate an international medical non-profit.

As the events unfold, the audience learns it has been 17 years since Snow and Kam saw each other. Kam eventually asks Snow to dinner, and he takes her to the old place they used to go, leading Snow to flashback to when they were together.

The viewers also learn that Snow and Kam were once engaged — something that Snow had hinted at during the abovementioned interview. Kam had proposed to Snow at the same place using his Met button into a ring. Snow accepted his proposal, and they got engaged.

But things took a turn when Snow decided to pursue her dreams and ditch Kam, calling off their engagement. However, that didn’t bother Kam as he told Snow that he never stopped thinking about their time together and wanted them to be together again.

After their dinner, Snow returned to her house and took out the same engagement ring Kam used to propose to her years ago, which meant that she also had feelings for Kam. As for what happened, tune into Sex/Life season 2, currently streaming on Netflix.

Margaret Odette on her role and Netflix’s ‘Sex/Life’

Netflix’s Sex/Life has turned the life of Odette as she has received much limelight since portraying the role of Sasha Snow. And on July 6, 2021, she exclusively talked to Pop Culturalist about her role and the overall series.

Firstly, Odette talks about her character and the script that attracted her to the show. She mentioned that when she first read the script, she was enthralled and intoxicated and referred to her character as fun, feisty, and incredibly loyal.

“It was really, really wonderful to tap into someone that dynamic and also to portray a friendship this deep, lasting, and nourishing throughout. There aren’t often pieces that are about sex and relationships where women don’t wind up being catty little bitches to one another,” she added.

The second question was if anything surprised her about the experience while working on the Netflix project. Odette answered, “The biggest surprise was the pandemic. After my third day of filming, we had to shut down our entire project.”

“That was the biggest wrench in the system that I could never have predicted. But then of course the greatest blessing was the fact that Netflix decided to continue our process, and after five really gut-wrenching, traumatic, confusing, chaotic months, we came back to Canada.”

As she continued, she mentioned that an excellent health and safety COVID personnel team supported the whole crew. She also said that she felt overwhelmingly surprised and exhilarated by the process.

Get to know Golda Rosheuvel’s parents.

Golda Rosheuvel Talks About Her Parents And Ethnic Background

Guyanese-British actress and singer Golda Rosheuvel has spent more than two decades of her career in London but wasn’t born anywhere in the UK.

Rosheuvel was born in 1970 in Georgetown, Guyana. She is the older child of a Guyanese father, a Church of England priest, and an English mother, a dementia social worker.

However, the actress has not revealed the name of her parents, but she has revealed their fascinating love story.

Rosheuvel’s parents met for the first time in a choir because they were both passionate about music. They later continued to combine work and music in choirs and orchestras after emigrating from Guyana to England when both of their children were under the age of five.

In an interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell for her web show No Filter with Naomi, she went on to describe her parents’ difficulties as a young couple and how they influenced her.

The actress said, “I remember my parents being in love. Being a mixed-race couple back in the day brought them many difficulties because of interracial marriages. It wasn’t easy for them.”

She added, “My parents left me very, very grounded. Both I and my brother have good heads on our shoulders and good feet on the earth, and I’m so proud to call them my mother and father.”

Golda Rosheuvel’s early life

As mentioned earlier, Rosheuvel’s father is Guyanese, and her mother is of English descent. Growing up, Rosheuvel struggled academically in school and couldn’t commit to a musical instrument.

In an interview with The Guardian, she said, “I’m dyslexic, so I find reading and writing very difficult. I discovered that my instrument was my voice.”

Likewise, the actress also shone on the sports field, where she competed as a decathlete. She stated, “And I was bloody good. I broke a few school records, a few county records as well.” Rosheuvel’s sporting ambitions were dashed after suffering a severe ankle sprain. She then changed her mind and enrolled in a drama diploma program at the age of 16.

Later, Rosheuvel entered the entertainment industry at a young age, but due to the color of her skin, she was only able to play black roles.

“Representing my father, I’ve done that,” she said, according to Shondaland. “But to represent my mother’s side who is white, that is quite a unique opportunity. I get to be involved in a period drama that I never really saw myself doing because there weren’t any Black people being cast in those roles. So, to get the opportunity to play a Queen, I celebrate that.”

Golda Rosheuvel’s career

Rosheuvel’s stage credits include Porgy and Bess, Macbeth, The Winter’s Tale, Romeo and Juliet, Angels in America, Bad Girls: The Musical, and many more.

Later in 2018, the actress played a lesbian version of Othello in Othello. She made her breakthrough in 2019 when she was cast as Queen Charlotte in Shonda Rhimes’ Netflix period drama Bridgerton. The series debuted on December 25, 2020, to positive reviews from critics.
