What Amanda Seyfried Has Said About Smoking Marijuana
Amanda Seyfried express her views about Smoking Marijuana

Amanda Seyfried, an American actress, has always been outspoken about her views on marijuana use.
Seyfried was a heavy smoker. She was spotted smoking a fake marijuana joint on the set of the biographical drama Lovelace. The actress played a pot-smoking lawyer in the Ted 2′ Red Band Trailer.
Similarly, Seyfried joked that she smoked heroin to cope with the stress of filming Dear John. She was pleased with the film’s outcome but insisted that making it was not as simple as many people believe. She stated, “I smoked a lot of heroin and just tried to get through. I’m trouble, but in a good way.”

The Hollywood actress later claimed that she stopped smoking in the public habit because she feared it would wreck her voice and her chances of landing a role in the film adaptation of Les Miserables.
Seyfried told Glamour magazine, “I was smoking cigarettes socially, like, every couple weeks. Then I started singing again, and if I’m spending all this money taking lessons, then there’s no point in doing that.”
She continued, “Everybody and their mother was auditioning for Les Mis, so I wanted to audition, but I wanted to be good.”
Amanda Seyfried expressed her thoughts on marijuana use
Seyfried shared her thoughts on smoking with The Sunday Times. She said, “I think cannabis is a wonderful thing, and lots of people use it responsibly, and it should be legal.”
Despite not being a fan of the class B drug herself and claiming that it would be “the worst thing ever” for her because of her anxiety disorder, the actress agreed it was time to change the UK’s drug laws.

Moreover, after starring in Mean Girls as Samantha Leslie Jackson, who occasionally smoked a bong, Seyfried stated, “I don’t understand how people can die all the time from alcohol poisoning while marijuana is so stigmatized. In my opinion, they could have put a bong in every scene.”
Currently, Seyfried does not smoke marijuana, but she has a passion for taxidermy and has a collection of dead animals, including a fox, an owl, a goat, and a young horse.
Amanda Seyfried talked about taking OCD Medication
Like many other celebrities who have spoken out about mental illness, Seyfried shared her thoughts on the subject and discussed her experience living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She has dealt with the disorder since she was 19 and took Lexapro to treat her OCD.
In an interview with Allure, the actress said, “Yeah. I’m on Lexapro, and I’ll never get off of it. I’ve been on it since I was 19, so 11 years. I’m on the lowest dose. I don’t see the point of getting off of it. Whether it’s a placebo or not, I don’t want to risk it. And what are you fighting against? Just the stigma of using a tool?”
Furthermore, Seyfried emphasized the significance of treating mental illness. “A mental illness is something that people cast in a different category [than other illnesses], but I don’t think it is,” she said. It should be treated as seriously as any other matter. You can’t see the mental illness because it’s not a mass or a cyst. But it exists. Why do you need to demonstrate it? You treat it if it is treatable.”

However, the actress has not revealed the name of her parents, but she has revealed their fascinating love story.
Rosheuvel’s parents met for the first time in a choir because they were both passionate about music. They later continued to combine work and music in choirs and orchestras after emigrating from Guyana to England when both of their children were under the age of five.
In an interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell for her web show No Filter with Naomi, she went on to describe her parents’ difficulties as a young couple and how they influenced her.
The actress said, “I remember my parents being in love. Being a mixed-race couple back in the day brought them many difficulties because of interracial marriages. It wasn’t easy for them.”

Later, Rosheuvel entered the entertainment industry at a young age, but due to the color of her skin, she was only able to play black roles.
“Representing my father, I’ve done that,” she said, according to Shondaland. “But to represent my mother’s side who is white, that is quite a unique opportunity. I get to be involved in a period drama that I never really saw myself doing because there weren’t any Black people being cast in those roles. So, to get the opportunity to play a Queen, I celebrate that.”
Golda Rosheuvel’s career
Rosheuvel’s stage credits include Porgy and Bess, Macbeth, The Winter’s Tale, Romeo and Juliet, Angels in America, Bad Girls: The Musical, and many more.
Later in 2018, the actress played a lesbian version of Othello in Othello. She made her breakthrough in 2019 when she was cast as Queen Charlotte in Shonda Rhimes’ Netflix period drama Bridgerton. The series debuted on December 25, 2020, to positive reviews from critics.
