English social media influencer and professional boxer Olajide Olayinka Williams, also professionally known as KSI recently shared his experience of being RKO’D by American wrestler Randy Orton.

In a recent episode of Impaulsive, released on March 12, 2024, KSI was featured alongside Logan Paul and George Janko. Within the podcast, Paul posed the question to KSI, “How did it feel getting RKO’d by Randy Orton?”

In response, the boxer expressed that it was honestly one of the best experiences he had ever encountered in his life.

Reacting to this response, Paul chuckled and humorously remarked, “Like a dog, you took it like a vet,” implying that KSI handled the situation with remarkable composure and skill, akin to a seasoned professional.

KSI then elaborated on the experience, describing how Orton physically lifted him up. He expressed a desire to share a photo to illustrate the moment, highlighting how Orton grabbed his head and forcefully slammed him into his bicep.

Paul interjected, noting the noticeable impact on the boxing player’s nose, which KSI confirmed, stating that his nose was “smooshed” and his lip was cut from the force of his teeth slamming into Orton’s bicep.

Despite the pain, the boxer emphasized the significance of the moment, acknowledging that while it was unpleasant, being RKO’d by Randy Orton was a profound life experience.

Later in the conversation, KSI shared that UK rapper Giggs praised him for his RKO moment, which he found exciting. He stated, “Bro, Giggs messaged me. I don’t know if you’re familiar with him; he’s a rapper from the UK. He was like, “Bro, this is sick!’ and I was like, ‘Yes, bro, legit, I’m gassed, bro.”

Shortly after, Janko offered praise, expressing, “I was waiting for you to crush that, JJ. You crushed it! As someone who also had to try it out and did a terrible job in Saudi Arabia, I know how tough it is. But you crushed it! You literally couldn’t have done better. I think you could be the US champ.”

KSI then responded humbly, mentioning that he sees himself as the Shane McMahon of WWE and expressed openness to trying out other wrestling moves like the Stone Cold Stunner.

Paul and Janko also agreed with the boxer’s sentiments, and they suggested that with a little training, KSI could even aspire to become the UK champion.

Towards the end of their discussion, they all reached a consensus to organize something significant for KSI in the future, potentially involving a suplex.

Brief on KSI’s boxing career

KSI’s boxing journey began amidst escalating tensions with British YouTuber Joe Weller in late 2017. Following public spats on Twitter and the release of diss-tracks, they announced an amateur boxing match on February 3, 2018, at London’s Copper Box Arena to settle their feud.

Eventually, KSI emerged victorious with a technical knockout just 1 minute and 37 seconds into the third round.

Soon after, on February 24, 2018, the boxer entered the ring against Logan Paul in a white-collar amateur boxing match, which ended in a majority draw.

Later, a rematch took place on November 9, 2019, at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, marking a transition to professional boxing without headgear. With the guidance of professional boxers Viddal Riley and Jeff Mayweather, KSI clinched victory through a split decision.

Moreover, on June 22, 2021, KSI made a groundbreaking announcement, revealing his partnership with Wasserman Boxing to establish a boxing promotional company named ‘Misfits Boxing’.

This venture aimed to revolutionize the boxing scene. The inaugural event was slated for August 27, 2022, where KSI himself would headline the boxing return as the main event.
