Chyler Leigh has been married to her husband, Nathan West, for over two decades.

They met in 2000 when they worked together for the TV show,  7th Heaven. They played the role of Frankie and Johnnie, the troubled friends of Mary Camden, played by Jessica Biel.

The two fell in love and soon started dating. They tied the knot in 2002 in Alaska.

Currently, they are parents to three children. Their son, Noah Wilde, was born in 2003, a daughter, Taelyn Leigh, in 2006, and another daughter, Anniston Kae,  in 2009.

As of 2024, the pair is leading a very happy married life after being together for 22 years. They often talk about their relationship, gushing about each other and how much they love one another.

Recently, Leigh revealed that she knew she would marry her husband the first day they met each other.

On March 22, 2024, Leigh talked about her husband on Live with Kelly and Mark. There, she revealed that she knew she would marry West on the first day they met.

They met at an audition for a WB pilot back in 2000. Reminiscing the day, Leight said, “I came around the corner and he’s just kind of chilling on the ground.”

“I was like, ‘That’s the guy I’m gonna marry,’” she added. She noted that the duo were paired up together for a chemistry read, which also included a kissing scene.

However, initially, West did not kiss Leigh. “And we get right to the end of the scene and he’s like, ‘Do you want me to kiss her? Should I really kiss her?’ I’m sitting here going, ‘Oh my God, this is embarrassing,’” she said.

The show executives told the duo to do “whatever naturally happens.” However, West decided to wait until the end to make the move.

They made it through various rounds of auditions because their chemistry was “pretty good.” By the time they reached the end of the audition round, there were over two dozen executives.

It was then West decided to make the move and go for a kiss. She said, “We still hadn’t kissed yet,” and that the anticipation was high.

At the time, West lived in California, and Leigh lived in Miami. So, the duo not seeing each other was one of the incentives to make the couple kiss.

So, when they eventually reached the part where they needed to kiss in the script, there was no one stopping them. As a result, West decided to “go for it.”

“And he kisses me, and I got so flustered that I was going to try to use the door as like, ‘Oh creative actor moment.’ I hit my face with the door,” Leigh recalled.

“I totally did it. I just stumbled out and I was like, ‘Oh God, I’m never working in this town again,’” she added. However, the duo got the parts, and the rest is history.
