Be prepared to be stunned by YouTuber Logan Paul‘s ownership of the staggeringly costly $5.3 million Pokemon card, which is the world’s most expensive Pokemon card.
While he is best known for his performance in the ring – including boxing and wrestling, he is also a keen Pokemon trader and is not shy to show them off.
Logan Paul owns a $5.3 million Pokemon card
Renowned YouTuber and professional wrestler Logan Paul own a PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator card, which he acquired through a record-breaking trade valued at $5,300,000.
This extraordinary card was purchased by Paul from Marwan Dubsy during a private sale in Dubai on July 22, 2021, setting a new record for the most expensive Pokémon trading card ever sold in such a transaction.
To secure the coveted PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator card, Paul exchanged a PSA Grade 9 Pikachu Illustrator card valued at $1,275,000, which he had previously obtained from the renowned sports card collector Matt Allen, in Como, Italy.
By combining the Grade 9 card with an additional $4,000,000, the YouTuber successfully acquired the pristine Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator card.
“The Pikachu Illustrator is one of the rarest and most highly coveted Pokémon cards in the world,” shared Paul as per Guinness World Records.
Only 39 of these cards were distributed to winners of the Illustration contest back in 1998, making the Grade 10 version he now possesses the only one of its kind in the world to receive a perfect “10” grade.

However, merely owning such a prestigious card was not enough for Paul as he displayed it on one of the grandest stages imaginable.
He showed off the Pokemon card at his WWE wrestling debut at WrestleMania 38, held on April 2, 2022, at the iconic AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
As the 28-year-old wrestler approached the arena, the Pokemon card could be seen swinging from his neck.
Logan Paul almost lost $3,500,000 on Pokemon cards
Paul’s Pokémon card collection is widely regarded as one of the most valuable and extensive in the world. He has invested a significant amount of money into acquiring rare and sought-after Pokemon cards.
However, the wrestler revealed that he had spent an impressive $3.5 million on fake Pokemon cards in a video posted on his YouTube channel in January 2022 titled ‘I Lost $3,500,000 On Fake Pokémon Cards.’
He expressed his disappointment and frustration, stating that he is generally a positive person but found this situation particularly challenging.
He stated, “I’m a super positive person, and, I’ll always be the one to look at the bright side, and I am trying, but this is very hard.”
However, there was a twist to the story. His friend and famous card collector, Bolillo Lajan San, later revealed to TMZ that Paul had managed to recoup his money.
