Beomgyu, birth name Choi Beomgyu, born on March 13, 2001, in Daegu, South Korea, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and member of the South Korean boy group ‘Tomorrow X Together,’ also known as TXT.
He joined the group as the fifth member. Soon after, he gained prominence as one of the five members of the group, which debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in March 2019.
As a member of TXT, Beomgyu contributes to the group’s music through his vocal talents, dancing skills, and stage presence. Known for his alluring performances, Beomgyu was quickly able to make fans from across the world with his charming personality.
The group has achieved significant success since its debut, earning recognition for its musical talents and concepts. The group has also won several awards, including the 2019 Melon Music Award as the Rookie of the Year and the Mnet Asian Music Award for Best New Male Artist 2019. However, the artist is not exempt from dating rumors. Recently, Bemogyu was linked with ITZY’s Yeji. As per a TikTok video posted by a fan named @kimjxnniebxyy on August 12, 2023, the duo was spotted on a date. The user captioned the video, “Best couple”.

The TikTok video went viral immediately afterward, and fans around the world were busy congratulating the duo on their newfound romance. The two are seen walking hand-in-hand in the video.
Apart from Yeji, the K-Pop star was also linked with Chaewon from LE SSERAFIM. The rumor began when a tweet shared the zoomed-in picture of TXT’s refrigerator, which concluded to be a picture of Chaewon from her days with IZ*ONE.

Fans have also spotted Chaewon’s facial expression change and getting concerned with regards to Beomgyu’s appearance and performances.
While the rumors about K-POP artists dating one another are not new, fans believe that the fake rumors end up hurting the artists’ association with their company for a long time. The artists are backed by companies who invest in the enhancement of their skills, and reportedly make the artists sign a strict contract.
One common condition in such contracts is that the artist is not allowed to date.
Some reasons for such restraint include the fear of the artist losing their fanbase which, in turn, leads to the company losing money, along with their reputation.
