In the past, the actress had talked about how difficult it was for her to conceive her baby. Back in March 2022, Michele took to Instagram Stories to reveal that she was having a difficult time getting pregnant.

While doing a Q&A session, a person asked Michele if she had plans on getting pregnant for the second time. She said yes but talked bout how difficult the process was.

“Our journey bringing [our second baby] into this world was not easy, and we have had some heartbreaks already this time around,” she wrote and added that she has “faith God will bring us another when the time is right.”

Michele has a hard time conceiving and getting pregnant because of her PCOS or Polycystic ovary syndrome. She talked about it in March 2021 on an Instagram Live with Katherine Schwarzenegger.

It was difficult for her to get pregnant for the first time as well. She confessed on the live that she was wondering if she should “just stop” attempting to get pregnant.

She believed that it was not meant for her and she was never going to be a mother. It was one of her biggest fear and it seemed like she was coming face to face with it.

“I kept thinking, ‘Maybe this isn’t meant to be for me. Maybe this isn’t going to happen.’ It’s something that for me, personally, was always my biggest fear in my entire life. It’s what I’ve wanted more than anything,” Michele admitted.

She had emotionally tried to shove it off but later, ended up getting pregnant with her first child. “Emotionally, it just started to build and build… then we got pregnant,” she said.

However, it was filled with complications. She explained, “I started bleeding terribly, horribly. … I experienced very heavy bleeding, some of which was scary to the point that we rushed in the middle of the night to the hospital. Probably every other day, we were certain that this time was definitely it.”

“I was put on an extreme amount of medication, progesterone, to help sustain this pregnancy, and I was put on bed rest for my whole first trimester. That was just horrible, absolutely horrible,” she added. They found very late that they would have a healthy baby and thankfully, nothing went wrong for them.

After dating for a couple of years, Michele got engaged to Reich. They got married on March 9, 2019, and over a year later, they revealed that they were pregnant with their first child.

The couple welcomed their son, Ever, on August 20, 2020.
