Making racist and sexist comments is not a new thing to Brooke Schofield.
She has been exposed multiple times for making such statements. Recently, in February 2024, many of the racist and sexist comments that she made in 2012 and 2013 were once again exposed.
In one such tweet, she was talking about how her hair was “nappier” than most African Americans. Similarly, she also wrote about Mexican people in a negative light. But mostly, she was racist against African Americans.
She complained about the way they spoke and people going out of their way to look “ghetto.” Schofield also made several sexist tweets where she freely used the f-slur. She slut-shamed people and claimed that such people should get Syphilis.
She also pointed out that she hated “skinny” people who go on diets. She wrote, “If you are skinny and you diet, I probably hate you. Fat people diet. Skinny people work out.”
Once the influencer was exposed for her racist and sexist tweets, they went viral on several platforms, including Instagram. One Instagram tea page, THETEATALK, shared tweets on their page where netizens gave their opinion.
Many were mad at Schofield and pointed out that she should have known better. “She was 16 at the time. She should’ve known better. This is embarrassing,” one netizen commented.
Another wrote, “‘This was 12 years ago,’ Yeah she should’ve known better when she was a teenager & not be a racist. it’s just giving spoiled brat vibes.”
Many claimed that digging up past from 12 years ago was not a good thing. One Instagram user wrote, “Glad people are agreeing that it was in 2012 aka over 10 years ago like yall really went fishing for some stuff she said in middle/high school yall really wanna drag down anybody and everybody.”
Likewise, another commented, “are u just bringing the stuff up from a decade ago that they already apologized for just to bring them down right when they are doing good and literally doing a whole tour or?? what’s the point I’m confused.”
A netizen commented, “I will never understand why people dig up people’s tweets from when they were preteens like y’all didn’t say outlandish [expletive] when y’all was children with Internet & no parent supervision or developed frontal lobe?? like, come on..”
Many joked that Alabama Barker, who has been facing backlash for cultural appropriation, was behind this. Since Schofield called Barker out, she got exposed for being racist and sexist.

“Alabama didn’t even have to expose her, she did it to herself PLEASE,” one wrote while another commented, “Alabama girl I was not yet familiar with your game.”
“ALABAMA DEF PAID FOR THIS,” another netizen asserted. At the time of writing, neither Schofield nor Barker have made any statements regarding the exposed tweets.
That said, this is not the first time Schofield has been exposed for being racist or sexist. She was exposed back in July 2023, for which she issued an apology.
Her most infamous tweet was defending racist police officer Zimmerman, who tragically shot an African American teenager, Trayvon Martin. Everyone condoned the tweet, which sparked a massive commotion and possibly a riot due to obvious bigotry.
Schofield, on the other hand, backed the racist cop in a now-deleted tweet, writing, “Guaranteed, if Zimmerman had shot a white dude, this wouldn’t be a story. News Flash This was not a racially motivated crime; it was self-defense.”
After the expose, fans started to share their opinions, and the majority of them were disgusted by her past demeanor.
When followers pointed out her racist remarks, she avoided the criticism and eventually removed her tweet. However, this was not her first time tweeting racist remarks.
In another bizarre racist tweet, she says, Kassie yells racist profanities in the theatre’ only minority in the room is sitting directly behind us.” That clearly identifies a black man as the minority.
Aside from her racist tweets, netizens have discovered her other homophobic comments, in which she often used the f-word to refer to her friends or classmates.
Schofield apologized in a Reddit post following a massive public reaction over her previous racist statements. In the apology message, she admitted that her previous tweets were abnormal and that she was deeply sorry for them.
However, she confessed that she did not see that as racist but rather as amusing. She claimed that she was young and stupid, but she accepted responsibility and accountability.
She has also claimed to be more knowledgeable about racism and black life. She further admitted that after learning the backdrop for prejudice and brutality toward people of color, she was estranged from several family members.
Many fans and followers commented on the message, claiming that the apology was sincere; nevertheless, some remained skeptical that her Zimmerman tweet was the result of her stupidity or that it was even amusing.
