Shanna Moakler Throws Shade at Ex Husband Travis Barker

Shanna Moakler, the renowned model and the ex wife of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, recently threw some shade at her ex husband on social media.

A viewer under the handle @ever_after_2022 commented on one of Moakler’s recent Instagram posts about Barker’s previous relationships.

The viewer also highlighted the possibility of Barker having high-risk HPV, a virus that can cause cervical cancer.

“Scary thing about Travis is all the woman he was with is no one concerned of the high risk HPV this guy probably has? Cervical cancer NO JOKE PPL its real Kourtney is not very bright get tested stay safe always,” the viewer noted.

In response, the former 1995 Miss USA made a subtle dig at her ex husband, mentioning that she “loves” watching TikTok videos circulating about the women he has been with.

Furthermore, she pointed out that Barker was married to her while he was out with several women at the time.

As soon as the model spoke out in her defense, her reply became viral, and many tea pages started to make it a big deal, along with many internet sleuths sharing their opinions.

A fan commented, “i get where she’s coming from but she should also remember that he is the father of her children. she should watch what she comments because she knows damn well the kids will read that.”

Another fan said, “Nooo Shanna keep it offline for the kids come on lmao.”

Moakler and Barker’s relationship timeline is a complicated one, riddled with controversies and accusations. 

The couple reportedly started dating in the summer of 2002, right when Barker separated from his first wife, Melissa Kennedy. 

On October 30, 2004, Moakler and her ex husband got married in a gothic-style wedding inspired by Nightmare Before Christmas.

They welcomed their son, Landon Barker, in 2003 and their daughter, Alabama Luella, in December 2005.

From 2005 to 2007, their married life was showcased on the reality TV show, Meet the Barkers. However, the show’s success wasn’t enough to save their marriage. 

The Blink-182’s drummer cited “toxic energy” as the reason behind canceling the show in his autobiography, Can I Say. 

Meanwhile, the model, who contributed to the book, wrote that she thought the show destroyed their relationship.

Things took a turn for the worse when Barker was in a plane crash with his friend DJ AM in 2008. Barker and AM were the only two people to survive the crash, which claimed the lives of four people. 

During his hospital stay, Moakler discovered Barker’s infidelities while going through his laptop. He recounted in his book that his then-wife saw emails from 13 different girls he had been involved with in the year before the plane crash.

Although the couple reunited after Barker’s release from the hospital, their reconciliation was short-lived. 

The 47-year-old musician accused the 48-year-old model of having an extra-marital affair, and she, in turn, she accused him of cheating during their marriage.

He even took to his MySpace profile to publicly accuse his then-wife of adultery. The couple finally finalized their divorce in 2008. 

However, their tumultuous relationship continued to make headlines in the years to come. In December 2014, both were arrested for threatening each other during a heated argument at their shared home in Los Angeles.

While the two didn’t press charges against each other, they went their separate ways, but they continued to co-parent their children.

Additionally, she claimed that she divorced Barker after she caught him having an affair with Kim Kardashian.

During an interview with Us Weekly, she said, ‘I divorced my ex because, I saw them — I caught them having an affair.’

Moreover, she claimed to have saw text conversations between the two, and the ‘affair’ allegedly occurred before the 2007 debut of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
